Just got this email today, as I'm sure many of you have....

As of August 1st 2016 the price of Essential Depot's 4 Gallon VG and PG GlyCubes are going up by a minimum of 13% (from $39.00 to at least $44.00). As VG/PG customer I wanted to give you the chance to stock up and beat the price increases.

To order visit -> USP KOSHER Pharmaceutical Grade VG and PG - Drums and Glycubes. Glycubes only $39.00 until midnight EST Sunday

The upcoming Feb 2017 Federal E-Cig Regulations have caused a spike in sales to the 5000+ Vape Shops we supply. The associated demand spike across the industry has caused VG and PG prices to go up significantly. Our manufacturer and supplier is giving us one more week to purchase at our current price. Please help keep your price as low as possible by ordering at the current price before August 1st.

Thank you again for being an Essential Depot customer.

Just a principle. According to their email it means to me they are taking advantage. Sorry I'm not out to offend (prednisone may be doing the typing right now):)

If I was a soap maker I would be really pissed. I'm going to look at other vendors in the future and see if they are going to cash in as well.

Who cares just stock up now it's cheap enough. Also if their supplier is charging more it's not their fault. The demand for it is higher now whether you use it for soap ecig or Lube

their price is going up because of the overall demand. Supply and demand is the way the world works. Anyway...in my opinion...I would still use them because I've never had a problem with them...and they are still cheaper comparably, even with the price increase. I buy 2 gallons at a time and get free shipping. Now if they charged for shipping...there may be a slight problem ;)

Shelf life is about 2 years. I also don't believe every email or explanation from entities as well.

^^^^ Exactly!

I won't be using them any longer myself for this and other reasons. They have no problem sending me promotional emails but ignore repeated attempts at getting a few simple questions answered. I'd rather pay a little extra to someone that supports their products and shows at least a modicum of respect for their customers. I realize others have had decent experiences with their customer support but that just wasn't the case for me unfortunately.

Well i have VG for life. A couple years ago a c ompany was giving away 5 gallons of USP VG for free . I ended up getting 2 of them so 10 gallons total. Shelf life has been longer then 2 years and tastes as good as the day i got it. All i need is the PG and that should have a longer shelf life then VG

If you do the math it all works itself out. I paid 39+23 for 4gallons. 2 gallons there is 48 with "free" shipping

the problem is commercial accounts nearly always outweigh the diy demand.. and we are expecting many ejuice companies/shops to close down. yet they are saying their commercial accounts are demanding more.........that math doesn't add up.

So is this why you are cross Huckleberried? Chin up, what can you do?
No, I've seen comparable prices to their current ones, this is just a sign of the times. One of those things you kinda have to accept, I suppose. And I haven't heard the term "cross" in a while. I love that. But the avatar has other reasons. I'm able to be cordial, for the most part, but that avatar is wearing my mood for a while.

I boycott @Huckleberried all the time.
Does no good.
Oh the hell you do. You're my sensei. I'm attending the School of BigNasty for filter-less speaking! And it's because you like me.

really people
did any of you read the email.
Their price is going up because their supplier is raising their price. NOw you can choose to think tehy are lying to you, but I doubt they are.I mean if your going to gouge, go bigger then 1.25ish a gallon.

and even at $44 for 4 gallons
that raises the price from $0.0025/ml to $.0029/ml

now that dont include shipping

which takes the price for me from $0.0042/ml to $0.0045/ml

and as i understand regs 8/8 means nothing- it means no more new products after that point can be introduced to the market - then you have about 2 years to get your product approved. so people will still be producing eliquid and buying in bulk from ED or whatever supplier they use.

You also have to send you documentation and a sample to be tested in a lab while paying for it to stay on the market during those 2 years bud...but there isnt a place for anything to be sent to as of yet...it really is a clusterfuck

yes yes yes
theres all kinds of fuckery with the regs.

my main point is
1. according to the email the price is going up because their supplier raised prices - has nothin to do with ripping people off
and
2. 8/8 is not as i understand it the cut of for selling products - its just the cut off for introducing products to the USA market with out a PMTA, and then whatever is on the market as of 8/8 has about 2 years to get approvd by the FDA or have the regs removed by congress or the courts
