I see these can be had for ~$45 at a few places. Is anybody here using one, and if so what are your impressions/review? TIA

I played with one a friend of of mine has, seems well built, he wasn't using the included atomizer he got a velocity v2 clone with the sqonk pin.

It feels as well made as other kanger products, wasn't too heavy, the squonk bottle was only a few days old and was starting to show signs of distress where he has been pressing it.

All in all for the price it's a nice mod, I would order a few extra bottles if anyone sells them.

I received mine yesterday. Owning the other Kanger Dripbox, I put a Tobeco Velocity Mini (mine came with a BF Pin), cause the stock RDA sucks. So far, I only have used it in Power mode. However, I like it a lot. Great thing about this mod is the ability to regulate the power, and having TC. All for a reasonable price.

I bought the fixed 60W Dripbox to see if I'd like squonking. Now, I own a Aluminum silver Squonker (from Dre's group buy), have another one in Brass coming, and own the Dripbox 160. Obviously, I like Squonkers! :) However, I think the 60W will be retired and the bottles being used in the 160 version.

... So I am really on the fence with the 160. This is the first regulated squonking mod that can keep up with my power requirements. But after reading this post I have one concern... Am I going to have to worry about replacing the bottles all the time? I have concerns with aquiring replacement bottles in the future, due to the upcoming regs...

I wouldn't let bottles keep me on the fence. I've had mine for a month and no issues. Comes with one spare and you can get more online. Just my opinion.

I don't have one yet, but it's on my short list of mods to be considered for my next purchase.

It might be possible to utilize regular PE 10ml bottles, that have the same specifications.

I was curious, as it was not mentioned in its advertising. I only saw ni and ti...
They even have TC NiCr! I don't like NiCr wire, so I won't be using it. I still have to try the SS though.

I seen on a written review (spin fuel)that the DB160 can only be used with the included atty. is this true? I was planning on immediately replacing the included atty (which I heard sucks) with a velocity v2... I still Havnt pulled the trigger on this mod yet. If I am stuck using a proprietary atomizer that is sub par, that would be a definite deal breaker.

...I guess it pays to scroll up and read. My bad... How do you like it with the velocity?

Just got mine today. After watching numerous videos on YouTube I first washed out all the metal parts of the automizer, Took out the supplied cotton and readjusted the coils and Re-wicked it with cotton bacon. So far I love it. Squawking mechanism works very well and a flavor is awesome ( used a very well known juice to me and I've used numerous times).

got mine today..been using it in wattage mode with the M atty clone...very good so far ..I do prefer its smaller brother though..and yes @DogMan ..it has a slight delay..maybe a fraction of a second..and I can see that the move from mechs to regulated squonk mods can be a bit annoying. Been using mechs ever since I started squonking, and I do love them, but I can still enjoy the convenience of regulated mods.

mine is mostly a paperweight

as tamer says, delay before firing

i get about 4ml out of a bottle, before squonking stops working right. not good at 100 watts, 4ml doesn't go far

had a few button presses where nothing has happened

will be a PIF if the PoS even lasts until my series mech [i'm ninth on the list] but not sure i would subject anybody to this thing

at least i tweaked my stumpy build for high voltage

Sounds like a good Mod to mod?

Actually for me it's not that bad. I just programmed myself to click the fire button once when it's out of sleep (that's when the delay is slightly longer). Other than that it's OK. Overall it's good value for money, especially as a back up or for going out and about.

Mines not bad, it was cheap and I use the atty as a tester when I'm mixing. But mine has the best authentication code of them all.
