Good Day VapingUnderground,

I'm looking to purchase pre-built coils... fused claptons, preferably. If you have recommendations of other styles for the best flavor, please share.

I'm seeking insight into where I should purchase a boatload of pre-built coils! I have no idea what are reasonable prices or where to find good quality.

I seek your input and look forward to hearing from you, soon!

Thanks you all! I messaged raymo2u... awaiting reply. Will check out the purecoil site, now. Wondering what are reasonable prices... Thanks, again.

I spoke to him before I made my order. But it's cool 6 bucks isn't going to break the bank. =)

Have you actually looked at those coils @AmandaD ? At first glance, the "aliens" aren't anywhere close to being aliens. Which also makes me wonder about the quality of the other coils they're offering. "Due diligence" is a phrase I use for a reason... Caveat emptor is another...

This thread is for a member looking for different places to get pre-made coils, not for a vendor to debate the difference on them. You are skating the vendor rules, take caution.

I use the SS fused claptons - work well for me. As long as I use ss and rayon, I'm a happy camper:p

Yes, and if someone points him in the direction of a product that is of highly questionable quality, I feel that an uninformed person should be informed. Do you not agree with this?

I agree in being informed, I also agree that a vendor should not be the one debating who's coils are better

I'm not saying whose are better. I'm saying that the one's on eBay are crap.
Please, even if you don't purchase coils from [deleted by CrazyChef], do yourself a favor and stay away from the cheap Chinese coils. Even the Chinese know better...

Don't forget to use coupon code [deleted by CrazyChef] for 10% off. It's for Vaping Underground members only.
Yeah, I probably went a little overboard there. Sorry about that.

If your member name or vendor name was not mentioned in the thread then you Can Not post in it because of your vendor status. Please read the vendor rules once more.

Gotcha. That's makes sense now - could be misconstrued as bad business. I'll leave those types of responses for PMs from now on.
Thank you, @SMOKIE .

Well, are these coils good or not? I'd like an opinion from someone that has actually tried them, not just speculation. So far one person has actually tried them and has said they're good. Any other real life experiences?

Be very skeptical of wire and coils from eBay, back when I first started building more times than not the wire I got from eBay was shit.

By shit you mean bad wire, dirty wire, not as advertised? Please elaborate.

If you want coils seriously just get them from Raymo or CrazyChef, most all here on the forum vouch for them. Full disclosure I haven't gotten anything from them but they have good reputation here. If you want the wire itself not coils check out Kidney Puncher or Crazy Wire over in the UK. I source my wire from them and they have good quality wire. They also have spools of various types of Clapton, twisted, etc. The house brand, not UD, Wotofo stuff which I would avoid.

if you want SS coils
id checkout advancedvapesupply.com
they are slightly higher priced then those ebay ones
but i use their spools of fused clapton wire and vertabraid. and many other members here have too.
you can get just premade coils or spools of most of their stuff. very good pricing....not as cheap as ebay but cheaper then many others
i believe but can not say for certain @raymo2u builds some of their coils, or was in negotiations to do so. d people here as mentioned before find raymo2u to be one of the best at coils- no slight to chef he is great as well...but im throwing other options out there too

Thanks r055co... Seems like I was way off on assuming I could find cheaper prices for quality pre-made coils... looks like I won't be able to use my vape budget hands to purchase from raymo or crazy... For quality pre-made coils, I should expect to spend about $15 for two coils, only? Seems a bit steep but I have little frame of reference...

Will someone also explain why Wotofo or UD are not good options? Looks like I can purchase a pack of 5 fused Clapton's for like $3. Guess, the wire is sub-par and I'm assuming taste will also be sub-par. If I must pay the $15 for two for quality I will, but just want to be sure there aren't other quality options for a fraction...

For the people that are purchasing pre-made coils from Ebay and Wotofo, etc., I wonder if they have used the more expensive coils to know the differences, if any.

Everyone's input has been and will continue to be greatly appreciated!

Best bet would buy a few pre-made coils at first then use your budget to buy the wire and wrap your own coils. Wrapping coils is actually pretty easy, you just need to practice.

I've tried the UD clapton wire, the first roll wasn't bad, the other three were garbage.....oily garbage.

Thanks alot! I am currently awaiting restocking of the Coilmaster DIY V2 Kit, to begin wrapping coils. Would you say the Coilmaster Kit would serve good purpose or is there something else that may be better?

Thanks again!

The coilmaster is damn good...!

Not for making clapton wire, but great for wrapping premade clapton parallel or single coil wire.
