2ML tanks because of the darn EU

Hey guys,
Love your products but could you stock more 2ML tanks because the EU decided that 2ML is the maximum size we are allowed to have.
I see all these amazing tanks and they are all above 2ML it pains me.

dont always see eye to eye with ej...but, this time hes spot on...dripping or squonking would put a boot up their ass.
Problem about Squonkers though, usually the bottles are able to hold more than 2ml of eJuice.
However, I'm not sure, that the limit is actually 2ml, but rather 3ml capacity. Which also would make more sense, due to the many recently released 3ml tanks.

You can still get greater then 2ml tanks in the UK!
After tomorrow we might not be a part of the EU. You will know who won because the world will implode if we leave!

UK and EU have fundamentally different positions on vaping, don't they? So I guess Brexit would be better for you?

I am not sure. I do remember hearing about a tank size limit a long time ago now, but it has not come to anything. Eventually there would have to be one rule for all with regards to this subject if one wants to sell within the EU market.
Brexit l don't know. Let's see what happens. We haven't left you yet or maybe we won't at all!:D

Were I in your place, I'd get the TFV4 micro kit tank. It comes with a 2, 3.5 and 5 ml glass and chimney extensions.

Problem solved good for the UK.
Was just wondering, was placing the head of the EU in Belgium a joke, or was it compensation for being laughed at for all those years :)

Actually placing the headquarters in Belgium made sence. As Belgium as the most complicated laws for its citizens; so having the headquarters there is child's play for them. We are still apart of the EU for at least 2 years. So Schyzo stock up on tanks whilst you can.

They can make all sorts of laws, the question is if and how are they enforced.
What exactly is the limitation on? Buying? Selling? Using?

Not as easy to answer. In a nutshell with regards to selling and buying. The issue is to create a level playing field for all EU countries. "Using" cames down to individual countries. So in the UK in some establishments you can vape
This is because there are no laws governing vaping in the UK.

Where you can and cannot vape in the UK see link below.
-How is the law enforced? It is a civil offence that carries a fine if you smoke in a non designated area. This does not apply to vaping. Thus there is nothing to enforce unless an establishment prohibits vaping and you vape. Please note that said insitutions have banned vaping. It is not supported in civil law like smoking is; so the most they can do is to tell you to cease vaping.
- l can purchase every maker of tank available in the US & China in the UK
-E liquid is still not labeled yet as standard. Other then what flavour it is and nic strengh. It is still an unregulated market.

So basically the EU 2ml law has no teeth.
You can still buy tanks larger the 2ml, if not from the EU then directly from China and I doubt anyone is going to open your mail and measure the size of your tank.

The EU 2ml law does have teeth. Some countries like the UK where probably waiting for November when the regulation of e liquid comes into force and just do the two things together. Regarding ordering from China l think you are correct. Especially since are government have been kissing Chinese arse alot. That said we have now voted to leave the EU, thus we are unlikely to implement this law now; because the UK is pro vaping and sees it as a smoking ceasation device.

There are more than enough useless 2ML tanks on the market...my RDAs hold more liquid.
Tanks are supposed to be convenient and having to refill one 5+ times a day isn't convenient.

Just because you have to suffer through stupid laws doesn't mean everyone else should suffer along side

Tell me about it. But of cause they want to make it as inconvenient as possible!

What was the reasoning behind that? How is making you refill your tank many times a day and making the process more annoying going to solve anything?

-Initially the EU wanted to ban refillable tanks and have a device that administered a fix about of nicotine per drag. This was ditched.
-E liquid is to be sold in 10mg bottles only, with a max nicotine of 2% (20mg/ml) and tank size to be 2ml to mitigate the risk of nicotine poisoning. How these two components will assist in this aim, your guess is as good as mine.

I know that some use e-liquid with as high as 3.6%, how can they bare it is beyond me.
I personally started with 1.8% and now in the process of switching from 0.6% to 0.3%, so I can understand the 2% limitation for e-liquid, but what about nic base at higher concentrations, is it still a viable option?

Nic poisoning is only relevant to children drinking e-liquid (if their parents are stupid enough to leave their e-liquid just lying round) but a vaper would feel sick and stop long before he gets poisoned.

Btw I've heard the Trump congratulated the Scotts for leaving the EU (while if it was up to them you would stay).
He should really get more informed before speaking the first thing that comes into mind, like he always does :D

- It is children who the EU have in mind with regards to nicotine poisoning. However a child proof cap on E liquid is not a requirement until November. But their is no requirement for a child proof tank, although some manufacturers have taken it upon themselves to manufacture them.
- Need for high strength nic = Yes. I started on 1.2% strength (12mg/ml) 7 years ago. I now sub ohm vape either 3-6mg/ml (l cannot tolerate > 6mg/ml). So if l refill my 2mg tank 4 times with 3mg/ml nic. I would have had 24mg of nicotine. On an above ohm MTL device. I can tolerate > 6mg/ml nic. So yes higher nic is needed depending on the device you are using. Also those transitioning from smoking to vaping often require a higher nicotine to match their current nicotine consumption from cigarettes. In the UK it tells you on the packet of cigs how much nicotine is in the product. So it is possible to mathematically work out how many mls of a given strength of E liquid you will need to maintain your nicotine requirements.
-Trump- l am suprised that a Scott did not hit him with a sporran and bagpipes for that comment!

He does say dumb things occasionally when talking off the cuff but in this case I didn't think he was congratulating the Scots specifically but was referring to the UK as a whole. Granted he was in Scotland when he said it.
