So was just wondering if anyone has tried vapecrafter.com yet? It's a crazy good idea imo. So the idea is you find an awesome recipe online give them the url and they'll mix it for you. What?!?! I mean i get part of the fun of diy is hoarding (gota catch em all). But how awesome is it you find a tasty recipe but your miss a couple ingredients. Than your thinking well maybe i won't even like this recipe. Boom problem solved spend 2.50 on 5 ml flavor base and you can see what's up. Just thought i'd share and get others opinions.

My thought is that it isn't DIY but more like a custom ordered clone. JMHO

I gave it a little test. For fun.

I got up to the flavor choice part. I thought, "instead of shelling out the big $$ for FLH Cinnamon and maybe be disappointed, I'll just get a stand alone 5ml to try it." Unfortunately that flavor was not offered. Test over. They did have a bunch of others though.

From time to time I find a recipe I might like to make but lack 4-5 of the flavors. It may be the case where I can't really find much additional uses for those flavors other than in that particular recipe. Ordering it up from Vapecrafter might be initially more cost effective and worthwhile.

I will admit, their...

..service does sound like a... "must have"

This company has one of the worst reputations I've seen in the vape world..before buying anything from them do your homework and go on the internet and look at the horrible reviwews they've racked up.

As a DIYer in the community I feel I should mention this. A couple years back a LOT of people were stiffed by them. Contest winners never got their stuff, paying customers never got their stuff. They were emailed, called, called out... big ugly mess. In the DIY community, it kind of soured. Some felt that a company they had no affiliation with, would possibly be making money on the creators mixes. Needless to say, people in DIY didn't like that idea.

I supposed it's possible things have changed, maybe they changed management, or even ownership. It's been a long time since I'd heard about them. At that time there was quite a lengthy thread about them in the hall of shame. To this day, I can tell you a few people that would have nothing nice to say about them.

It's possible things have changed, but my personal view on them is "pass".

You can kind of do this via http://www.ecblendflavors.com/create-your-own/ it also starts at $2.50 the bummer is you can only pick up to 4 flavors. They also have these now: http://www.ecblendflavors.com/flavortudes-flavor-enhancers/ seems like very expensive diluted flavorings though :D

Right and diyfs has kinda the same thing but they've got some decent flavors. Just from what i understand vapecrafter uses the flavors listed brands and all. Just thought it a good idea.

Smoky Blue ( she in on VU also) actually does that also. Check her out at : https://www.facebook.com/groups/SmokysVapeChat/ - once you are joined to group you can look under file and she has info. She also has menu of different recipes that she sells by concentrate. You only buy the size you are interested in...15, 30, 60, 120 ml and up. You add your base of choice and nic to it as you like. This is the actual site that she has set up : http://recipeshots.com/

My 2 cents. I placed a small order a couple months ago. 5ml bottle of one custom flavor, 10ml bottle of another. They were kind enough to send me 2 10ml bottles. Both bottles had the exact same label on 'em (unidentifiable as to which mix was which). A pleasant email thanking them for the free 5ml, but questioning which flavor was which received no response. My browser will never surf their way again. ymmv

PS I ordered base mixes, not ready to vape juice.

With the deeming regs within sight, having somebody mix for you is a very short term proposition. Better to get the flavors yourself.
