Good morning yall. Forgot to say it before I left for work. Didn't sleep much and had more bullshit drama go on. I think I'm going straight to my mommas after work and spending a night or two there. I'm so freaking done dealing with bullshit lol

Day went from decent to cluster fuck in one shift. Went to shift on the bike and the clutch cable snapped on me. And my bank account is so over drawn that I can get the clutch cable.... fuck. So now I'm currently sitting at the bar I broke down at just sitting and waiting for a tow truck. A nice guy that saw what happened bought me a beer. Or else I would just be sittin here waiting. I've been on the phone for what feels like an hour now. Today officially sucks donkey cock.

Hey, can you use a DNA 200 mod straight out of the box in TC mode or do you have to set it up with Escribe first?
it depends on the mod.
you can roll in wattage mode right out the box, in tc mode you can change material and wattage but you will want to go in escribe to set up your preheat and punch, make sure the mod settings and battery curve are set right.
The escribe settings can theoretically wait; but, to get the most efficiency out of the device, you want to set those up sooner rather than later.

Putting concrete down the pipe just might work. I would put a bar or two of rebar in with the concrete. It is worth a try.

@pete67, I wonder where I can find one 25' piece of rebar, as the widest portion at the pole's base is around 3", and about 1.5" at the top at the 'Eagle's Nest.'

That, by itself, would give the concrete added reinforcement, and reduce any undue 'moment' in windy conditions. One 25' piece of rebar shouldn't be too expensive.

The concrete truck... well, that may be a different story.
The notion of mixing Quikcrete in a wheelbarrow, and transferring the aforementioned to roof level with a rope bucket is a task that Liz and I cannot perform (sigh), let alone setting the rebar. I suppose that we could set one 12.5 ft. section of rebar, add concrete, then set another atop of the other, after getting concrete poured for the first section.

Now that I think about it, a flagpole of that size would be nearly six feet into the ground... :headbang:

I need to meditate.:mooncat:

That will be hard to find in a 25' piece.
