First off, whoever created this sub-forum thank you, now I can vent about this piece of shit tank I had. Keyword is had. There's a backstory behind this is let me briefly explain. I'm going to a friends house and I'm packing a bag. I have my huge phone (Galaxy Note 3) in one pocket and my wallet in another. Keep in mind, I have small pockets so my box wouldn't fit in either. I put my 150ml of juice and my box in the bag. I get to my friends and my box isn't there but my juice was. I get home and I tear my room apart looking for the box which I fail to find. Thus leading to now. I grab my Sigelei and the Matrix subtank. I can't open it so I grab pliers. After 5 minutes of turning I thought I had it. I use my hands and something cuts my left middle finger. I'm bleeding now. So, holding pressure on it I'm still trying to open this piece of shit. I get really frustrated and put it down for 10-15 mins. After watching a few videos I grab rubber gloves. After 2 minutes of turning I notice my right thumb is bleeding from inside the glove. Now furious I grab the tank and slam it in the trash. With two yes TWO band-aids on my middle finger and I on my thumb and on top of all that I think there's a piece of glass stuck in my right palm. It hurts to type this but I don't see anything in it. In the end, I used an RDA (Mutation V4 mini) my cousin gave me. So in the end. RDA's are so much better than tanks, they don't bite lmfao

I cut my hand on a tank, got it open, had trouble with the wicking.... went to watch a video, the dude in the video had the same cut in the same spot on his hand, and mentioned it came from the same tank, LOL.

lmao, damn man. Guess now is a good time to invest in Coilmasters new vape tool/tweezers. Be glad it wasnt an Alleria V2 tank tho man, otherwise youd have ripped all the flesh from your finger bones. That tanks top cap serrations are razor sharp. Good grip for twisting if its not stuck, potential emergency room visit if it is.

Exactly. Battlescars. btw I noticed on my hand I had a cut. So now I have two band-aids on my left middle finger one on my right thumb and two going in between my right ring and middle finger to cover my palm.

I've had the same problem with other tanks, I smashed um to pieces with a hammer and moved on.

I don't know what's more awesome... That you wouldn't give up messing with the tank even while actively bleeding, or that you came to the Mud Pit to rant while still in pain.

welcome to vaping. I use mostly RDAs; but, tanks are necessary at times still.
sometimes a rubberband helps to give you a little grip when they seize like that.

I never had a problem with any tank. Some produce better than others but no problems other than that.

That is really odd, I have used mostly tanks ( RTA) for 4 year and have never had one seize on me nor cut me.

When i saw "mc nugget" tank I assumed maybe mass produced or clones? because Mc Nuggets are fake chicken tenders? I also thought because the less expensive are usually not as well finished or parts are thin walled?

ANy who, I love tanks and never have had any of those problems. I remember I did have a problem with the Vivi NOva when it first came out. Again that was my first non-carto device.

Maybe its because most of the complaints are coming from the "guys" and they just use too much muscle to put them together?

My ViVi Nova cracked right at the plastic threads on the tank 2 days after I got it.
I got a replacement plastic tank section and it leaked
So I got a replacement metal tank section and it leaked too

I stuck with the Kanger T2 then switched to the Kanger MT3 when botton coil technology first came out.

Everything has been running smooth since.

My main problem was with the Kanger Protank 1 & 2 base getting stuck

I think McNuget tanks could be a referring to Chinese Subohm Tanks that take replaceable coils?

I could be mistaken on that since I never bothered to ask.
