The true hybrid is a mech mod with the atty built in....but what people are calling a "hybrid" is actually a direct battery connection.
The atty connects right to the positive terminal on the battery and you NEED to make sure the center-pin is long enough that no part of the negative parts of the atty, aka everything but the center-pin, touches

only mech mods are hybrid, but most mech mods are NOT hybrids...they hit harder, than non hybrid mech mods look more sleek are shorter,and should not ever be used by anyone but a very experinced and cautious vaper. In the wrong hands they can be dangerous. just like cars in the wrong hands can be dangerous.
