Sorry to hear that. My condolences for your loss.
So sorry, Kitty. :sadpanda:
Thank you both, truly.

I'm just glad that when it happened it was quick and he wasn't alone. He got dressed, went to the restroom to take his medicine and his heart gave out and he was dead before he hit the floor.

He always said he wanted to go like his father did. His father was 92 still mowed his lawn and everything. He went to stay at his daughter's for the weekend. Woke up, had breakfast, went to take a nap and never woke up.

A quick, quiet death with family around.

Hell my grandfather even mowed his own lawn 2 weeks ago!

He went how he wanted to and he didn't suffer and the last time I saw him we had a wonderful time and I told him how much I loved him (the time I detailed in the message I sent earlier).

Not everyone gets the chance to say goodbye like that. I'm grateful for that. It was more than I got with my uncle last July. Everything seemed fine and then he blew his brains out a week after his birthday party...

I'm out bowling league and trying to remember the good times. My Papa took me bowling all the time as a kid! We even watched the pro tournaments together ^.^

I miss him, and while I can't comment on him "being in a better place" since I'm an Atheist, I DO know he is no longer suffering and that he will live on in my memories of him...

Very sorry for your losses. I lost my dad last month from a long battle with cancer. It was really rough, but it's a process and we're all starting to get back into the swing of things. The ones we lose won't be forgotten, because they are always with you :)

And my biological father took his own life when I was younger, so I also know what you're going through. Anything you need, I'm a PM away!

I actually found an app that let me "try out" different colours and it'll be like this (this is as close to the splat colours I could get):

Kitty it is! =^..^= :D

The preview pic of your upcoming streaks looks gorgeous! Gotta love tech that lets you see what it will look like before you commit. I haven't done purple in many many moons - the most brazen I've gone as of late is a color called Grenade, a deep dark auburn, but even that was over a year ago. Time to crack open the box and take the plunge again! I desperately need a cut too - haven't even had a trim in the last 2 years! Cut it too short last time, and I've just been growing it ever since, but the ends are absolutely fried. :/ Also, @Dawn0810 , if it's still up for votes, I say go red!! That color looks amazing on you. :)

P.S. Oh dear... I just quickly scanned over some of the last few posts here  - my deepest condolences to you for your loss, Kitty. It's never an easy thing. (((HUGS))) May the good memories keep your heart happy. <3

That's Lahaska, NE of Doylestown :)
Buddy of mine had a stained glass shop there in the 80's and 90's.
Such a cool bohemian kind of place! We had a lot of fun there. New Hope was really cool too

We were in town for my cousins college graduation, so we decided to go browsing there, and also the outlets they have. Of course my wife wanted to go to the Coach store.....lol

My last fling with purple was a nerdy Rogue/Psyloche Hybrid 'do. White bangs like Rogue and purple hair like Psyloche. (BTW's Olivia Munn as Psyloche?!

Oh trust me I know. Though I have fucking ridiculous hair. It is über fucking strong.

Once I dyed my hair black and got my tongue pierced around the same time. When my mom found out about the piercing, she gave me a choice: the hair colour goes or the piercing goes.
Obviously I chose to keep the piercing.

She took me to a salon and they had to bleach my hair 3 times. First with "normal" potency, which did nothing; then with "maximum" potency (which did a bit; then with a "medium" potency which was what finally got my hair an even red colour.

They said my hair would be brittle and straw like, but when I got out of the drier my hair was softer, shiner and all around nicer than any of theirs. I got quite a few "fuck yous" from the girls there. LOL

Don't blame them. My hair is so coarse that my everyday ponytail causes a LOT of breakage. But be damned if I want my hair in my face all the time. I started using the Olia hair color to cover my gray, so I could avoid the other gray-covering ones that are loaded with ammonia -- which plays hell with my hair AND suffocates me! The Olia is very kind to my brittle, fragile hair.

damn this is why I hate typing.
It's not the typing that is the problem. It's trying to convey something easily understandable in a conversation. But when the conversation is between several people happening at different times. It can get a bit confusing as to what was said when and by whom...Unsub only if you feel this can't be hashed out and squashed...Cheers!

Luckily for me that misconception was over a few days ago....
