So RBA's are for MTL? I been reading to stay away from RDA's because they are more for direct to lung. I'm just getting curious and want to start learning how to build coils, wicks and stuff, but want a mouth to lung set up.Any recommendations? I will be using anything I rebuild on a istick 60w for now, just a heads up. Thanks, Rob

Oh, there are many RDAs for m2l also.

Are you wanting a dripper or a tank? Budget?

I don't know yet if I want a dripper. I'll have to read more about them. I want to go as cheap as possible until I can save for a more expensive set up.

I recommend a few things when considering what to buy.

1. Anytime access to deck. That way if you make a wicking mistake, you can get your deck out without draining the juice. It's also convenient for when you need to rewick or recoil.
2. Glass or metal tank so tank cracking juices are not an issue.
3. An RTA with juice control can be helpful as well to make up for less than perfect wicking. Flooding? Close it off some. Dry hitting? Open it more.

How tight of airflow do you want? Are you wanting to stay under $20 (probably clone) or would a budget authentic in the $20-40 range be ok?

I like a tight air flow, as similar to a cigarette drag as possible, and I could pay $20 to $40. I want something that's gonna be decent.

The UD Bellus is dual coil and comes with an adaptor for single coil, and can be tightened down for m2l. So can their Goblin Mini, but there's no anytime deck access on that.

The new Wismec Theorem would also be worth a look.

Take a look at my new design with Augvape, Merlin. There's a thread here with info and pics.

Unfortunately, there's not a huge amount of budget authentics for m2l now that I think about it. The new Griffin25 and the Avocado come with a single coil adaptor, but I'm not sure how well either works when reducing airflow. I haven't tried it on the Griffin, and don't yet have an Avocado.

Another worth a look for you is the Fodi from HCigar. And their HC Plus if you can still find it. I got mine from Froginfog in China.

These may also be worth a look, but are older now, and maybe harder to find:
Focusecig Focloud
Lemo, though no anytime access to deck
UD Aga t5

If you 'd like you could check the gem clone it has a very nice mtl draw deck access anytime glass tank but its abit of a gamble if you get a quality clone or a crappy one, next check the calix clone also glass tank and deck access anytime tight draw and a unique deck i have the v1 where the airflow is on the 510 pin and hits direclty the coil from below ( greater flavor but if it leaks all the juice will end up in the mod) there is also a v2 version where the airflow hole is sideways. Next check out the corolla rtda from sxk easy to build great flavor deck access but without a glass tank. Next check the aqua SE it is a dual coil rta but its possible to set it single. The tilemahos v2 plus is also a great rta but a little too airy for my taste (but still possible for mtl draws) and lastly the phenomenon lite rta i dont own one yet (but i will soon) and they say the flavor is pretty damn good.

For a MTL I've got a SquapeRs, awesome tank. It's expensive so you might want to look at the clones, the Authentic Squape build quality is outstanding but I cannot vouch for the clones.

Also don't be put off with drippers, for a MTL RDA I would recommend the Patriot or Freakshow mini

Thats cool......Love mine. So far, it's my go to........Still playing with the LemoDrop....working on an air flow re-design on it though......Got a couple of others as well, but was hopin' that you would find the Goblin Mini to be a nice vape....... Cheers

Looking at a Billow 3 too. It's supposed to be easy to rebuild the coils.I'm not to thrilled over the RDA's anymore, to much work lol

A kayfun lite would be fine. I prefer the kayfun 3.1 as the bottom cap prevents any external leaking and you don't have to use a needle tip bottle to fill. I have an Ehpro Kayfun 3.1 and the build quality is very nice for a clone. Most folks got some version of the lite though. The small chamber and tight airflow of a kayfun make it a fantastic mtl atty. There's also the k4 and a newer version recently released. I have not used either, but I would not hesitate to try one. Good luck.

I felt the same exact way until I finally decided to try one. I don't think I could ever go back to a tank. I started with a Royal Hunter which is my favorite but I have a REMentry from vapesocietysupply.com for $20 and it's a nice RDA for $20.

If you would like to try Kayfuns, I'll send you a ehpro Kayfun lite at no charge. I have two of them and lately I have been looking for slightly more open draw so I will be ordering goblin mini on next paycheck. Tell me where would you like it shipped and its yours.
My dog's name was Strawberries. She was my best friend, protector, baby sitter, and loyal companion for 17 years.
