Now this is some funny shit. Since I caught up reading this thread, I was looking around the forum and decided to look at the rules. I thought and thought and thought and decided to post, "How in the hell can I be expected to live with rules like this?" Looking for the reply button I couldn't find it. Then I saw where it said that I didn't have sufficient privileges to post there. I spit all over my screen. Where's the rules on that? Or where do I read about how to gain privileges? I hope the Queen don't see this.

I think some of the threads are either locked, or only the moderators can edit them.

Anyone try FA Sour Wizard and have any opinions on it?
First off, it's FA Bitter Wizard. I have used 0.25% in one of my recipes, combined with Citric Acid, in order to get a better tart flavor, trying to make a sour apple eJuice. However, too much of either FA Bitter Wizard (>5%), or Citric Acid, won't make it more tart, but will result in a funny/bad flavor.

I don't know. It doesn't say locked. There are 11 pages of posts and at the bottom it says "You have insufficient privileges to reply here." That's at the bottom of page 11.

I see it's an open thread with many others posting, strange, it says the same thing for me too
I'll find out what I can about this. Thanks for posting.

That's a public thread, so I'm not sure what's up, yet. Anytime any of you see something like that, feel free to tag me or PM me. I'll leave a message for admin team on this. Thanks guys!

It's new. IMO there's no difference between it and other vendors' "sour" additives.

Thanks for the reply HIC. The only reason it got my attention was the text in the description at: https://www.nicotineriver.com/collections/flavourart/products/sour-wizard-fa

Truly pops the flavor on not only FA fruits but all others as well. A true sour unlike anything I’ve seen in 6 years. Seems stronger and more distinct than other sour flavorings I've used. Should be easily blended as an enhancer at low-to-moderate percentages.

60ml while a great deal would last me until the next ice age so I think I will pass for now and wait until other vendors have it in stock at 10ml.

I'm struggling with FA mango, did I read from HiC that FA orange will sweeten it,?

What about 1% Mango 3% orange as a starting point what else could I add for a nice simple beginners recipe fruit wise? I have almond, vanilla, raspberries, anise pear Drops, pineapple to name but a few, any ideas for a noob?

Just looking to try 3 flavour recipes as I have been running before I can walk!

2% FA Watermelon
1% FA Strawberry

Awesome combination.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Try it with Mango instead of strawberry or even add it to the mix so the recipe would be either

2% Watermelon
1% Strawberry
.5% Mango.......or......

2% Watermelon
1% Mango
.5% Strawberry

Or even try

2% Watermelon
1% Mango
1% Strawberry

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

I made a recipe a while back. The two main ingredients were FA Mango and Strawberry.
http://vapingunderground.com/thread...recipe-trials-from-start-to-end-notes.104495/

I realize you are not looking for a major recipe, but added link bc I described my trials and results. I did use Orange, rum, vanilla, marzipan to sweeten. I also found this great fresh, but bitter steeped. I think Orange and or pear would sweeten it up from your mentioned flavors. I also think pineapple would. FA pineapple is very distinct and sweet to me.
Also from a food pairing site..
  • Mango pairs well with: apple, banana, berries, caramel, citrus, coconut, melon, tropical fruits, vanilla, cinnamon

0.5% FA Meringue can add some sweetness without really changing the taste.
0.5% FA Coconut will add some buttery/creamy effect.
0.5% FA Pineapple can also add some sweetness without any taste.
0.5% FA Marshmallow for some sweetness, body, and fluff.
Edit: Forgot one: 0.5% FA Brandy adds sweetness too.
And you could even add 2% FA White Peach to get a Mango Peach type.

From what I understand, though never used it myself, TFA Strawberry Ripe would be even better. That's the beautiful thing about diy though, if one past of a mix isn't good, you can tweak it. Try it with TFA and see what you get.

I can't honestly say, but I do know tfa strawberries are sweeter. FA is more realistic, but can be a bit unripe. If you are looking for a real sweet strawberry try Caps sweet strawberry. I have both tfa strawberries, but for some reason I didn't get much of a strawberry taste, just sweetness. I haven't retried them since so I am not a good judge here. I think @lirruping had a good mango recipe I have yet to try...if she wishes to provide a link?

Yup, Jamaican Rum is kinda sweet too, although I've never tried the Pear for that yet.
Probably why I liked the Brandy + Jamaican Rum mix, sweet.
i currently rebuild my itty bitty topbox atty,, with a SXK Corolla on the way, i notice that Jamaican Rum and other dark sweet flavors sure trash my coils,, do you clean your coils every day? i pick at mine carefully if the wick looks good,, other times i scrape the coil,, burn and wet it down and repeat then just rewick.

i am getting pretty good at decent coils,,, nothing fancy,, i even did a vertical coil in that topbox,,(meh) lol............what about those fancy coils that Raymo2u and Crazychef make,,,,,,,,,,,,would they hold up better to the gunk?,,, maybe simply easier to clean?

I'm just using a cheapo PT2 Clone Anyvape Davide Glassomizer and Kanger PT2 coils.
Easy to just pull the wick out and dry burn and re-wick.
7-8 wraps on 1.7mm ID drill, compressed, MTL, 7-8 watts.
Sometimes it only takes 15ml and I need to re-wick, so a day or 2 maybe.
Most all the darker flavors can be gunkers, even Brown Sugar which I love.
Edit: Forgot to mention this is why I mix & vape 90% Fruits with Vanilla & Cream added.
Only use the gunkey bakery stuff on occasion.

You vape like I vape, lol. But I have gone into RTAs a bit now. I'm a little more open airflow, but not as much as a DL vape. Low watts like you.

Oh man, you are going to love that white peach as well as Fuji! And fyi you can clink on the top signature of mine if you have not yet. Not only does Hic sell recipes there, but has free downloadable flavor notes on FA flavors which are very helpful.

Oh, I got that one. Did you do the raspberry option or add raspberry to original mix? I did not yet try the raspberry option.

My scale came in as did my flavor order. I was a little tentative at first using the scale but am getting more comfortable and confident. I know it's going to be easier and a lot less mess to clean up. I say again, I'm really glad I found this thread.

I have another FA flavor order that should be here Saturday. As soon as I come up with a decent original recipe I will post.

Yes did the raspberry option as well as the lemon, I think I upped the % of. Everything by 1% as it was too mild for me on those recipes. So raspberry was @ 2%.

Vaping a flavor that was tasting a little harsh this morning, hitting the throat a little hard. So I added one drop of FW menthol per 10 ml and took it away. I can't taste the menthol at all. I don't remember where I picked that up so I don't know whom to give credit to. I suppose if one were to try that with FA Menthol Arctic it would have to be diluted first.
