I own a radius and a few P2.5s and have been offered a P3. It would be cheaper than buying new, but does anyone have any feedback on the P3? I would like to hear user experiences. Thanks!

Provari hasn't made a device with specs that were of interest to me since 2011. Imo it is underpowered, under-spec'd, comparatively feature-less and overpriced; yet it is presumably a durable, well made quality mod if the specs suit your vaping needs.

I have one I won in a raffle. 20 watts, works fine, dependable. You can use the P3 threaded tanks like the Kayfun and Aspire Nautilus. I'm running mine with a Kayfun and it's a nice vape, good combination.

I own a P3 and if the power (Max 40 watts) fits your profile and the price your paying, it's a fine mod. And it's built like a Sherman tank with outstanding CS and repairs. HOWEVER, you need to be aware of a few gotchas which are my own views.

1. Beta firmware: Their is nothing "rare" about this Beta. Matter of fact, most have upgraded the firmware. I don't see this Beta ads any value but rather detracts from the resale and enhances the opportunity for glitches.

2. Firmware is up to V39. See this page. This Beta is probably V35 or V36 as I recall.

3. The Firmware is NOT user upgradeable. NOT! You either send it back to ProVape or find a B&M that has the proprietary hardware to upgrade your firmware.

I sure don't wish to sound like a ProVape basher. The critical factor is how much are you paying? And of course your desire to upgrade the firmware. The vape that the P3 delivers is just as smooth as the Radius and includes "Boost" although the menu system on the P3 is not as easy to navigate as the Radius.

Good luck
:)

LOL!

Stuff happens at my age!

20 Watts max for the P3
50 Watts max for the Procyon
40 Watts max for the Radius

/typing this while using my RX200 which is 250 Watts max! I like variety!

:)

I'd look into the cost of sending it in for possible added expense. I don't know if they provide the upgrade for free if purchased 2nd hand, like an original buyer gets. I sent my P3 in on Monday, because the local B&M seller has been waiting over 6 months to get the upgrading hardware. You have to request an RMA#, and on that they ask for purchased where/invoice #'s on the return form that must accompany it.
Don't want see you get jacked after the sale.
