Not sure I want a badge as I don't really consider myself a refugee.
I never did know what was going on with the Roxy thing, but I think I finally figured it out.
Not banned, but stuck with a Supplier Associate badge and prevented from posting freely because of it.
Do I have that right?

Pretty much, DC... it would remove her entire posting history and post count, AND limit her to posting only in a single thread, rather than forum-wide. She has told them twice to delete her acct, and they refuse to honor her wishes. Asshats.
Rossum is here too, and hasn't taken a Refugee badge, because he says he's a "double agent." So that's always an option.

It's a little more complicated. I'll try to summarize:
* deactivated on March 23 for being an unregistered supplier due to designing an RTA for no payment or profits
* issued an ultimatum on March 24 to either become a registered supplier or have my account closed. I told them to close it.
* No more communication to me except the ultimatum email.
* On April 10 (I think) they turned me into a Supplier Associate anyway, whatever the hell that is, against my wishes.
* And there it stands because I refused to be one, and they have complete control over what they do with my account.
I'd like the badge. Got real quiet over there and I finally figured out where everyone went.

I missed you guys SO MUCH the first month or so I was here, till I started making some new friends -- still missed y'all, but new friends helped me get over it a little. But now lots of y'all are coming here, and I am DEEEEELIGHTED!!!!!!!!!

I'm still relatively new to the whole vaping scene, so fortunately I've never had to deal with the assholery I've heard so much about. I'm very happy to say that I landed here first, and have found everyone to be truly kind, welcoming, encouraging, informative, and wonderful! I don't think I've ever come across a thread-spat between members here, and that's saying something these days - I find most message boards I've been to usually have a troll or two, but not-a-one here thus far...what a breath of fresh air! Put my name down for one. I found that one several years back when I first tried vaping. Shift change and different group of people at work. Led me back down stanky road again fer a bit. When I decided to try vapin again. It was a totally different place. My redneck ways just didn't fit. Found VU been lurkin around here now.

Was using ecf for years... very sporadically anyway. Then I found this place. Much happier here. Least here my threads aren't moved for no reason and consequently buried to be forgotten and no one comment on. I'd be happy to wear the refugee badge.
