Just ordered Kiwi and Watermelon (I've heard some great reviews about the watermelon). I'll let you guys know how they are. Still though, even with dilution, $10 seems unjustified. $50 to try five flavors is a big leap of faith.

not really impressed with MF flavorings so far..the flavors are limp and watery...they are very aromatic, but I don't find them particularly great flavorings.
I tried a good few juices made by Open Source e-juice makers, and they use MF flavorings,,I had the same experince I found the juice insipid, very aromatic but did not linger on the palate very long...

I've been all over the map with strawberries. I've found that there is no singular "best strawberry," I think mixing CAP's Sweet Strawberry (which is more of a candy sweet strawberry), with TFA Ripe Strawberry (sweet but natural tasting), and TFA Strawberry or FA Strawberry (they're super similar, and give u a solid aromatic background of strawberry without all the sweetness) will give you the "best." + a little TFA Dragonfruit for depth.

I get the same results. Pretty dull if you ask me. They're just not heat resistant like other flavorings. Gonna flavor water and coffee of what I have left. :wait:

No, I didn't have the chance to try the Shisha strawberry... but I will take a pause with berries. This is the most frustrating category of flavors in my opinion.

People saying that MF is not resistant should say the wattage they use.

I had no problem at 20 watts with my watermelon. But at 60 watts ?

Lotus Blueberry (I posted a review at ecx days ago, but it still hasn't shown up, so I'll just post with extra detail here.)
I'm mixing max-VG with Vapers Tek nic, ProTank-alike on an iStick. This is basically a colorless flavoring.

finding standalone percentage:
Warning: a whiff of this flavor bottle will curl your eyebrows. It's not a pleasant scent from the bottle, so just skip smelling the raw flavoring....
(This is the last Lotus flavoring I have.)

We don't know what you like the best

I don't have any problems, but I'm only using 7-10watts MTL, temps and heat have a big impact on flavors IMO.

@HeadInClouds : Can you tell me your favorite amoung all you tried ? Those are expensive and it would help me to cut the list :)

Post #93 in this thread... My personal pick is White Cherry, with Strawberry and Blueberry tied as close runners-up.

MF Watermelon (0.5%) with a month long steep: Pretty underwhelming. It's a very natural, bland tasting, but really aromatic watermelon. It smells juicier than it actually tastes. I've used CAP Double Watermelon, FA Red Summer, and TFA Watermelon and MF's watermelon seems like nothing special. Think of MF's watermelon like FA's but less sweet.

I do a mix of tfa wild blueberry, fw blueberry and fa bilberry. It's okay.
Lor banana cream with some fa banana is okay. Every green apple I've ever tried was to candy like or to weak. Inw pineapple is the only one that ever tasted legit but it's still a weak flavor. Every white chocolate I ever tried was absolutely terrible. Same with cherry, although baker has the only cherry I've ever liked but it's a cherry pie filling taste. Still not what I'm looking for.
When mixing these blueberries with bilberry what would percentage be on a 10 ml. I think a mixture of several of same brings out the flavors..
Thanks Karen

There's a long thread somewhere here about how awful they are! This has been going on since the early days of the forum - hard to believe they're still in business!

Do you mean of Lotus flavorings? Probably someone in this thread, because they're not commonly used otherwise that I know of (I've never used them)!

Lotus White Cherry

Since gopher_byrd was kind enough to advise us of the holiday sale at the usual source of this flavor, I thought I would add my 2 cents to HIC's excellent comments. (This flavor is Not cheap)

Real White Cherries (AKA Rainier Cherry) are not commonly found here in the midwest. I can't remember ever eating one. The cherry flavor I get when vaped reminds me of a very less tart and sweeter Montmorency cherry. Bing cherries are not even close.

I mixed the single flavor at 1.6% 50/50 16mg VT. A good shake and 2 day wait. If you are seeking any artificial, medicinal, or cough syrup notes; you can stop reading now. It has none of those. While it does not taste like a fresh cherry, it does not have a cooked cherry taste either. It does have mild cidery notes but I could not say it was a cherry juice flavor. I get a very light cherry pit flavor in the background. Think the flavor of the cherry pulp that would be in contact with the stone. Certainly not objectionable but instead supports this flavor being real cherry. The flavor is semi-sweet, just a little tartness and I get no off flavors.

I like stronger flavored juice than many and for the next batch I think I would increase the amount to 1.8%. I did split out some from this batch and added 2% FA Brandy to it. It muted the cherry too much while not giving me the alcohol backbone I was looking for. I'll be working on that! ;) (Initially by boosting both amounts)

For me, it has enough of a fresh flavor that it would not be totally appropriate to mimic cherry filling in bakery vapes. Maybe it's just me, but I never ate any cherry pie where the cherries were not cooked. For example, I was thinking if/when I make wllmc's cherry pie recipe, I would substitute White Cherry for only around 50% of the current mixes cherry flavoring.

In the past, I have only tried the 2 FA cherry flavors and INW's Wisnia. With artificial cherry notes to me, none impressed. Looking around for other possibilities, all I kept seeing were semi-negative comments. I'm glad I tried White Cherry and even with it's cost, I'll be buying more. (when it's on sale...of course :) )

@Donovan (ECX Flavor Lab)
If you guys are still stocking these MF flavors, i have a request.
Butterscotch
Ive heard great things about it but i would never use 30mls of it so would love to cop a 5ml at that awesome ecx sale price of 3.99. Would also request Plum but i would not think that flavor was as popular.
