Rasta Vapors - (mostly) Not for me

Ok here goes, I'm gotta be honest.

I ordered 4 juices from Rasta Vapors: Aurora, Samsquanch, Snozzberry, and Snake Bite.
Three outta four are completely unvapeable (is that a word? It is now). The 4th is "ok" at best.

Aurora:
Fresh outta the mail - Berries, weird vanilla, and and something "off".
After over a month of steeping - Berries, vanilla, and soap.

Samsquanch:
Fresh outta the mail - Oranges and something "off".
After over a month of steeping - Oranges and soap.

Snozzberry:
Fresh outta the mail - Cranberries, some kinda overpowering... chemicals? And some kinda weird tea?
After over a month of steeping - Cranberries, burnt tea, and soap

Snake Bite:
Fresh outta the mail and after over a month of steeping - Peach and strawberry. It's ok. Not the best ever, but it's definitely ok.

Taste is subjective, of course! Maybe someone else would like these. Maybe I gotta bad batch? I dunno. I left a 3 star (too high, honestly) review on Snozzberry with my name (Ann-Marie), and they replied & called me "Ann" (grr), and told me to let it steep longer. Well I did, and it got worse if anything.

It's just not for me. Tossed into my PIF pile, tho that feels kinda mean. But maybe someone else will get something better from them than I did.

Yea.. I dunno if it's the name of the vendor, or their site - but it turned me off from purchasing from them.. glad I made the right choice!

and I'm finally all settled into my new house but I have to go back down to MA and gather the rest of my stuff from storage this weekend so if I get any free time I'll let you know - or next weekend I will be looking to grab some more juice

Yep like halo.. people LOVE it I thought it tasted like soap and chemicals.

I will add I have not tried Rasta but they are being more than kick ass in the customer service side of things.

Agree - I think Halo juices are TERRIBLE - i don't understand the hype around them.. or a lot of MBV's flavors.. but to each their own i guess

yea... most of the sites that boast hundreds of flavors usually mean 90% of them are shit.. i still have some of MBV juices stashed away that are unvapeable.. especially 'Pie Crust' whoever wrote positive reviews on that one must have taken some very strong drugs beforehand

We've never had an issue with anyone saying that our flavors taste like soap, especially after steeping. We will try to make it up to you. Thanks ~ AJ

I always have good luck on juice from Mount Baker vapor. They always have tons of reviews for each flavor so helps get an idea if it's the one for you. I myself prefer PG 20 / VG 80 . And if you order over $15 they give you a random 15 ml sample.

The jury's still out for me with Mount Baker Vapor, but this thread isn't about them so I don't get why people keep bringing up their name.

Thank you @Vapo, I promise I don't add soap to them. LOL Yes we are clean and have a clean room but soap is not in any of our recipes

Ok UPDATE I am now finally tasting the ones that were sent to me by @Rasta Vapors to see if they were better. I am tasting now. Have steeped a month.

LET ME SAY: If nothing else, this company has STELLAR customer service, and that is important. Taste is subjective--So it might just be me! I would urge people to try it for themselves, based solely on the good customer service.

1 - Swaggerific - Frig. That familiar SOAP TASTE! OMG wtf.

2 - Dazed - YUM! CARAMEL! With a little apple too. That's yummy!

3 - Blueberry Babylon - Orange. Weird orange, like citrus cleaning product. I feel like I'm vaping Goo Gone.

4 - Maui Punch - Fruity. Tea? Not awful.

5. Joe Latte - YUM! Vanilla, little choc, and coffee. That's good stuff!

Ok so I only liked 2 outta 5. So overall, still not for me.

But again AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I had to come back and say, I've been hitting the Joe Latte all day now and it's fucking awesome.
I normally can't stand coffee vapes (I prefer to just drink my cuppa) but this is really exceptional.
I can see myself ordering more when I run out.

I just wanted to add that you are not the only one getting the soap taste from their juices. I ordered dazed and also grizzly bear. The dazed is really good -I love caramel apple ,but the grizzly bear has an overwhelming soap taste.

The only thing I can figure is they use a specific flavoring or base in a lot of their juice, since we got different flavors and still had the same soap taste.

To be honest I would probably not gamble again on the chance that I buy something else that tastes like soap. You can't vape this. It's gross.

Just wanted to offer a second opinion. But if two different people with completely different taste buds taste soap, there is certainly something wrong.

Hope this improves upon steeping or I will be throwing it out.

Hello. I'm new to the forum, but I order from Rasta all the time. They rock! And the flavors are wonderful, IMHO. The "kosher" issue is beyond my comprehension, but the customer service is great and the delivery is fast. I've tried about 6 flavors and like them all. I don't steep though. But even so, mine don't taste like soap. I've ordered Dazed, ChocoBerry, Viscid, Bloody Knuckles, and a couple of others that I can't recall. Perhaps is just a matter of taste.
