Actually, I was and am an independent contractor. When I served full time I contracted through a P.I. Company in order to get an extremely large amount of papers, and was paid by the serve. When I serve now for friends or family who are or know attorneys, I am still an independent contractor, I just get to charge more, since it all goes to me :).

I have never served a C&D letter, so I was simply explaining that this idiot did not properly serve anyone, and I just talked to an attorney in the family so I can get off this specific issue, and you are correct. That's probably why I never served one. They could be "served" but they are able to be sent in the mail, certified if you want. That further reinforces my point that these guys are idiots, and didn't serve anybody. That was really what I was trying to get across, if you couldn't tell. No service occurred, and those guys made asses out of themselves.
Agreed :)

I collect knives, Swords, and other Blades...you don't need to pay more then $300+ for High Quality Blades unless you're merely buying it for the Name vs the materials and craftsmanship. Majority of the Blades I have collected in my years have been Made to Order which took upwards of a month to get to me, I appreciate Ready to Ship Blades but yeah...

Any sites you recommend? Never had a made to order sword.. sounds killer though!! :D

BTW. Skeleton Key clone: http://vapingcheap.com/skeleton-key-mod-clone/

So, Joe apparently likes to steal, or have his followers steal copyrighted material to repost on youtube
Considering the clone in question

had a certain engraving on it made to defraud and deceive, yes, they were selling counterfeits.
Please, let him be there
registered yesterday, 13 posts, ALL in this thread. You folks realize this is the vendor who was there, pissed about the upload or re-up on youtube, right?
Look how personally he's taking it. He made a profile without any admission of who he is or represents to just try and stir up shit, apparently without realizing this thread has already stirred up a shitty miasma of shit.

I'm like, 95% sure.

Seriously though, video is down, who were the turds "serving" the CnD?

you should send a copy of it to IJOY, their lawyers might want a copy....We should start a non Elitist alliance....Call it, "Regular Joe's Vapor Alliance" the non elitist alliance for the working men and women who support clones.....

These Elitist Vapers are simply "Try-Hards" trying hard to impress with their multi-thousand dollar collections while they don't even use 99% of the Authentics within their collection. I only have 1 mod still at the moment and it only cost me $100 and I plan on investing in the Nemi 1:1 Clone soon.

I read or at least skimmed most everything in the thread. what I REALLY want to know, is if anybody knows who the dude with the terrorist shirt is, and if he is actually affiliated with Kryptonite, or any other vape company. Was he just some clownshoe who decided he was going to be the badass and "serve the papers," or does he actually work for/with a company. It's important to me, because I want to make sure I avoid buying anything from them if he is. I would also like to write a letter to the company letting them know why they will never see a dime from me.

new "study": http://www.saga.co.uk/health/news/2...smoke-contains-high-levels-of-toxins-603.aspx

http://www.journalnow.com/business/...cle_77b131f5-540d-5f02-927c-733bac751529.html

"“Our position is really that these open tanks are really not appropriate. And the reason for that is because people can put whatever they want to in those tanks, and this is a lot of the public outcry. People are putting a lot of things other than nicotine into these pipes.”
For example, there are companies making e-mail pitches for selling e-liquids containing cannabis."

What the tobacco industry should have done was to buy out vape shops and inventories, then they would have sole discretion and be able to hold onto their corporations. But they failed to do so since they thought it was a mere fad. Now they want to restrict it, but its way way too late. If you miss that chance to score big, you end up last. ;)

And this is one reason Joe kept posting to stockpile nic juice.. freeze it and forget it, when the regulation does happen, you need not worry. BTW, thanks Joe for the nic juice post bought 2 Liters of 100mg/ml nic just in case.

What's with all this today.. well the second link was yesterday.. :/

Holy RBA Batman! You guys been busy. Whatever you do -- don't bring up clones at the other ecig forum. They like to close threads when things get exciting.

I personally engraved and created the LA and Punisher logo Kayfun chimneys for a shop in SoCal. My engraving machine was 60k, and is the best on the market. It took 3 8-hour work shifts to finish 100 pieces, at $5 bucks a pop cost.

Gotta ask... how much did it cost to you license the LA and Punisher logos?? I am guessing the Dodgers/MLB and Marvel Entertainment charged a lot money for the use of their trademarks!

I normally just settle to amuse myself reading comments in the clone vs authentic debate (I'm rather neutral), but I am getting a big whiff of hypocrisy here.

Regardless if you like them or not, clones are here to stay. There's no way around that.

Some manufacturers seem to understand that, and we're able to get reasonably priced devices like the Doge RDA, Fogger v4.x, and the Mutation X. Developing affordable authentics and making them easily attainable on the market is probably the best business model to stay afloat and relevant as a manufacturer.

I'm not saying don't feed your son but come on you guys are in a position that people listen to you and to just tell people how great this shit coming from china is insane. I wish there were more unbiased opinions here but everyone seems to have their own agendas. Call me an elitist call me a prick. But I support small business I buy authentic and I make no money off of it.

because it IS great, if the chinese can make a 1:1 clone and sell it for 20 bucks, then why cant the people making authentics slap a reasonable price (im not saying chinese prices, im saying REASONABLE prices) on their mods? they know that this shit isnt worth what people are paying for it, and you know that too (whether or not you want to come to terms with it is up to you)
but to each their own i guess, my reason for using clones is that i can take the hundreds of dollars i didnt spend on an authentic and use it to pay for college and food.

For any who may have missed my small contributions to this thread/discussion/argument or even diatribe, if you will............

I tried 2 times today to read what has been posted since the fiasco at ECC. Right now I just can't get back into it. As far as I'm concerned what Reynolds America is saying/trying to tell the FDA concerns me far more. Big Money aka Lobbyists could do much more serious harm to us all, no matter our preferences or dislikes within the Vaping Community. I've enjoyed this authentics vs clones thread and hope to be able to revisit the "discussion" one day when it resumes. My rights to NOT choose Big Tobacco products feel threatened at the moment! I'm more interested in standing up to them AND raising a gracious double flip salute to Big Money!

I'll be around, and I'm not hard to find.... yeah, here and fb LOL A true salute to those I call friends here that choose to avoid fb.

Not saying this to you, just in general....I am sick of people coming onto every thread, and trying to make it for Advocacy. There are tons of threads just for that.
I hope that Vapors can talk about things that are not Advocacy and be spared the guilt trip, that they could be doing something else, for the community. Advocacy is great and all, I talk about that stuff all the time. But it does not need to be part of every thread, and it does not need to be the most important thing for everyone. People can just vape, and do nothing else, if that is their choice. Same with vendors.

Well this is a recent "publication" if you can call a web-blog a publication.. prolly more along the lines of "article". But a day old news article is still sorta relevant. The Saga "article" was written/typed today, so pretty recent in terms of fast-news speeds. :p I usually coast through Google+ for new mod combos coilings, etc. Much easier than instagram which I do not have or facebook. I am wondering how the whole FDA ruling will pan out, or if there is any word yet when they will decide if something should be done, with all the calls-to-action being done with.

BTW, LOL on Joe's recent blog update.. MAGMA!! :D

Welp, can't argue with you there. Waiting on a CnD from Disney so I can crumple it up and throw it at them.

There's nothing defrauding about it unless they tried to convince buyers they were authentic.

Boy! This is a long thread. LoL
I can see why, the guys in the video didn't handle theirselves in a good manner at all did they?!? Makers of the 454 big block RDA? Huh! A world famous Chevy Engine, that's not original...Kryptonite? Unless were talking about superman that's not very original either, yet they're throwing stones at another vendor. Anybody ever watch the movie "Idiocracy"? Lmao

I can see something coming out of this similar to the fu hattan, unless someone already mentioned that in this thread, I havnt read every post..but the kryptonite guys didn't handle themselves in public very well. Another PR disaster.

I hope someone organizes a group buy on a 454 clone and calls it something after another well known engine, but a 4 cyl. Asian engine or something that fits this drama scenario and put it in a parody themed box, and I hope it goes full trendy and sells thousands so the immature kryptonite dill sacks get reminded of how they effed up. Roflmao
Sorry for the long post but it only took me a minute to type and I'm sure it can be read in under 40 seconds. ; )

He's saying they did.. and for $180. Now, if its true or not is remained to be seen. I, for one, highly doubt this story. Especially since we had another post on here, from a vendor of originals no less, saying exactly the opposite.

The Facebook page of goon #1, aka Chris Glotfelty, yields no information regarding any affiliation he may or may not have with Kryptonite Vapor. He does, however, make it quite clear where he stands on a certain hot button issue.

If you want to be his friend, you can try here: https://www.facebook.com/chris.glotfelty

Don't hold your breath, though. He seems like an extremely hip and exclusive sort of fellow.

He might make exceptions for fellow neckbeards, though. Unfortunately the best I can manage is redneck cheek scruff and a perv-o-stache. I'm 1/3 Cherokee, which makes facial hair a challenge for me.

Welcome to the internet. First day?

edit: Fuck all the edits. But you know what, let me tell you something else: When some assclown decides to make a scene at a vape meet in front of innocent bystanders over some shit that 99.97% of NORMAL people who just wanna vape so they don't die don't give a cuss about, yeah, they better understand they're going to get called right the fuck out THE MOMENT that shit hits the internet. Do you not understand that?

Did you see that poor woman with an eGo that was just browsing the clearos when Mr. Glotfelty walked up and started spewing profanities at the top of his lungs? SHE is the goddamn victim here, not the puffed up asshole angry over clones, and not the nervous little guy selling them.

If you can't show some fucking respect for others in public and project a positive image for vaping at these meets, then keep your ass at home. Your buddies might think you're cool, but everyone else just wants to kick your ass.
