Hey guys! Right now, the list of options for what I'm looking for is growing rapidly, with many new 30w+ box mods becoming available every few days.

Here is what I want:

-Box Mod
-Atleast 30w
-Well-built
- VV/VW
- Able to fire as low as 0.3ohm
-Price range $50-100

What do you guys think?

There's tons and tons of info about box mods on this site and most others , most have variable wattage . Instead of buying one and then deciding it's not up to par because you now all of a sudden need much more wattage , make sure you initially buy the one that suits your needs .

If you do the homework and pick the right mod you won't be pissed when others are released afterward , thats to be expected. Nearly everything you buy says ( this product is subjected to change without notice) and that should be known going in.

I have read recent postings by people who criticize the manufacturers because they released a new version after they already bought one , yes, no joke , you can't make this stuff up.

I would personally go with an iPV 35 or 50 watt , i got the 35 watt and it kicks major ass , it's far far better than my Cana DNA 30. That thing turns on and off by itself even when no electronics are around , it's happened outside numerous times .

Performs well but i would prefer to do the turning on and off part , it's not efficient in regards to battery life either.

I kind of agree with VH fan on the IPV, IPV2, IPV2s or the build your own with an SX350 board and Hana style enclosure from fasttech. Those boards are all by YIHI and I think they're top of the line at the moment and very reasonably priced. DNA 30d can be built at about the same price but obviously lower power output. I have a Cana and have had no problems with it at all and use it daily but it's not as accurate as an Evolv and there's been many more reports of failure in comparison so I don't really have much confidence in it.. I've recently built a SX350 Box mod upgraded to 60 watts and it seems to be very accurate. When I go out and about I take the SX350 and the Evolv DNA 30d as backup and the Cana stays home. I know some of these don't meet your criteria but right now if I were to recommend just one it would be the SX350 mainly due to it's ability to buck down where I don't believe any of the others have this functionality.

All that said I think they're all decent device's at their price points. Provided you don't get a bad one that burns up on you right away.

I'm still waiting for my first box to come in, so I can't give any solid advice.

What I can say, along the lines of VH fan, is new stuff is always coming out. Companies will always be coming out with a new product or feature to entice you, or make you feel like your current product is inadequate. Just look at the phone or car wars, prefect example there. Do your research, figure out which one you like based on looks. Which one has the best features and / or ease of use for you. Do you want USB charging? Is usb pass-through a priority for you? Battery capacity? Able to upgrade the chip software?

If you're too apprehensive about deciding on one, maybe DIY if it's within your abilities. A sx350 chip plus basic parts is in the same price range as most new products coming out. Hope this helps.

many of the heavy hitters:
-iPV3 150w 2x18650
-Cloupor T8 150w 2x18650
-Cloupor T6 100w 1x26650
-Sigelei 100w 2x18650
-God 180 box 180w 3x18650

most of those will be out in a month give or take.

less power:
-Sigelei 50w
-iPV2s 50w (2nd edition)
-Cloupor Cana modz 30w
-Cloupor ZNA 50w < not a box though

just giving some options from brands i trust :) hope that helps your search

Yea, I just saw the thread on here about them.....definitely NOT what I'm looking for. No need for 180watts, and I don't even see the point of 180w when you can only go down to 0.3ohms on that device....seems to defeat the purpose?

Anywhere from 20w-50w should be perfect for me....I tend to vape around 0.5-1ohm

If you dont mind going a wee bit over $100, I have both the Siggy 100w and the IPV2....totally prefer with WIHI chip over DNA.

Spoke to a rep last night and asked when P4Y will do a dual 26650 box. They said no plans right now for one but they are working on something cool with a technological advantage. Secretive. No more detail provided even though i tried.
Should be interesting what happens around Oct when all these units are out and in circulation. What possibly could come next... not a higher wattage device (i would imagine). So what can they do next?

Of course their working on something even more impressive and i bet they release it right after most pick up the 150 watter LOL . Oh, and of course it will be more capable and higher wattage , they certainly aren't going to go down in wattage .

Bottom line , once a competitor releases a more powerful version you can bet others will be upping the ante , this stuff cracks me up , i love reading comments from people who have the "must have more wattage" mindset .

I have the ipv2 50w and think it is more than enough for how i vape IMO. I do have an iPV3 coming but mainly it is for the dual battery. I cant figure out what i would do with that much power. WHY would we need more than 100, 150, 180 (other than bragging rights and keeping up with the jones')

BUT I do agree with VH, when one company gets out done the other feels the need to respond with something bigger and better. Case in point. ipv3 and Sigelei both were at 100w when announced. Within a week P4Y had adjusted their chip firmware to go to 150. Now Cloupor is coming out with a T8.

I admit, I like the excitement in seeing what each one comes up with next but at some point the power thing gets ludicrous and scary.
MAYBE they could each work on fine tuning the QC issues and design flaws.

The iPV2s 50w uses the YiHi board (chip). I don't see the failures with the YiHi board as much as I do with the Cloupor board.
If it were me I would get IPV2. The new Sigelei board hasn't been out long enough to show any real time endurance.
I wouldn't want to be one of the first to test the waters with the god mod. The makers won't send any god mods out for testing or reviews. That to me says hold off on this one.
If don't mind spend a little more, and you want something rock solid that's going to be backed and serviced by a company right here in the U.S. get the rDNA30 from VaporShark. I can't say enough good things about the device and company.
