Which other sub-ohm tanks can use the Vaporesso cCELL coils?

I am a noob to the world of vaping and have been searching for a specific replacement tank for my Vaporesso Target 75W Box Mod (the black version). If anyone could help me out, give me some advice, or steer me in the right direction, i would be extremely grateful.

The specific sub-ohm tank I am searching for :
  • MUST be able to use the Vaporesso cCELL coils
  • MUST be black in color (with or without red/silver accents)
  • MUST be a top fill tank
  • Must NOT have a diameter bigger than 25mm
  • any juice capacity is ok

During my search I have found that the 'Vaporesso cCELL coils' supposedly fit the following tanks, but some people have had various issues with leaking, taste, etc when trying some of them out :

iJust 2
Vapeston Maganus
Freemax Starre
Anyvape Sega Sub Tank
Eleaf Melo
Sense Tech Herakles
Horizon Tech Arctic

But, unfortunately, I didn't notice any that match the specifics i am searching for.

Here are a few other tanks that I am curious about, especially the Kanger TOPTANK-MINI,
but I am definitely unsure if any would be compatible with the 'Vaporesso cCELL coils' :
? Aspire Triton 2 ?
? Aspire Triton MINI ?
? Sense Herakles PLUS ?
? SMOKtech TFV4 MINI ?
? Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm ?
? Kanger TOPTANK-MINI ?

If anyone could help me in my search i would appreciate it greatly!
Thank you in advance...

I'm pretty sure that Kanger, Smok, Uwell, and Aspire all use proprietary heads - I can say for a fact I can't come close to using a Kanger head on a Uwell, or vice versa...the others, I'm not so sure...

I use a Vaporesso Ceramic Coil in my Aspire Triton 2, it's perfectly compatible. I have a Uwell Crown, Geek Vape Griffin, Smok TFV4 Mini and a VHO Haze clone and my Triton 2 is still my favorite.

Triton Mini uses the Nautilus coils if I'm not mistaken. TFV4 Mini/Fullsize use proprietary coils and so do Kanger and Uwell tanks. I'm not sure about the Herakles, but I hear they're also very good tanks.

Any tank that takes Atlantis style coils will work, try the tobeco super tank, I believe they have those in black. Can't speak to how well that tank works and I know you're not interested in the super tank coils, but I'm using those in my original Atlantis tank with no issues so it should be compatible with the vaporesso coils as well.

Yeah ^ anything that takes an atlantis or triton coil. Crown, kanger, arctic, no... they don't use atlantis style coils.

I love my tobecco super tank mini so that's what gets my vote. Super tank if you want more capacity.

On the recommendation of one of the guys I know at an LVS: I have here a 0.9Ω cCoil that I'm going to install in my Tobeco Super Tank Mini when it's time for a juice change/refill. He's normally an RDA guy, but says the STM + cCoil produces an amazing vape.

You have more self control than I do lol. Next time I'm passing vapordna to visit a friend I'm picking one of those coils up... may be going to his house for the game tomorrow and I know whatever juice happens to be in my tank will be in the sink in a hot second :D

What does 'top threads not used' mean exactly? Thanks again, and to georgemeadal for creating the list.

That means the Atlantis Coils have threads on top of the coil and they were not screwed in as some tanks didnt have threads for them to screw in to, just cupped the top of the coil.

So, was just trying these ccells in different tanks; Atlantis, Triton and that tank that comes with the iJust 2. I don't know why exactly, but I am not getting good performance with these coils in those tanks. The worse was the Triton. I think that these coils aren't able to absorb juice as well because of the tank design..

Add the Silo Beast to that list... @Jóhannus†àR , the Hearkles plus does not use the Atlantis coils.

Maybe the coils haven't broken in yet. I'm getting the same, if not better, flavor in my Triton 2 compared to my Uwell Crown and my Griffin.

I know I'm using one right now with a .3 aspire coil. I was saying, add the silo beast to the list of tanks that are compatible with aspire. I was also adding that the Herakles plus was not compatible because it was mentioned in earlier post.

I wonder how much of the vape experience is due to the coil vs the tank itself, other than obvious differences like type of filling and juice capacity? Let's say someone puts a Herakles coil in a Triton 2. Would the tank airflow make a big difference, or is it mostly just finding a place to use a specific coil?

Just picked up a pack of Playboy coils to try in Starre and Herakles. Also, I found the Starre coils are great when you get a good one..... the first 2 I tried did not last and had flavor issues, but the 3rd is going on several weeks, no issues, using same juice.

I think the coil plays the most part of a vaping experience, probably around 80% of it at least, imho. The rest is up to the chimney design and juice flow holes?

I dunno for sure, but what I do know is that the tank's features provide a better overall vaping experience such as the air flow control, juice flow control and its top fill/bottom fill options.

The Crown, for example, would've been perfect if it had juice flow control since its coils perform very well. That's why I still stuck with my Triton 2 when Im out and about since it has all the tank features I'm looking for. And the 0.5ohm clapton performs admirably.

Just tried Triton 0.5 Clapton as a last ditch effort to salvage the old Atlantis V2, and what a pleasant surprise. Nice flavor, no harshness, can do mtl or dl. Not a cloud chucker, but a better work vape than the Kanger sub mini. Though I need to try 0.2 ohm Kanger before passing final judgement.

I'm using the cCell 0.9ohm on a Melo V2 and Super Tank. Vaping max VG only and almost a month on the same coils. Very impress of the concistancy of the flavor and how well the coils are holding up. I'm planning to run the coils until they fail. So far, best atlantis replacement coil.

if you buy ccell coils they tell you on the box whats compatible as i'm using it on the original triton tank and usually the first day will be spent taking heavy draws and covering the airholes without firing it before taking small vape inhales just to see if the wicks wet at 20-25w as to work it in and avoid burnt hits. Do this as much as you can the first day so by the time you wake up the next morning after letting it rest it should be good to go. The vape is perfect to me around 22-26w but you can go upto 30-35w. I get just as much clouds as the normal triton clapton and the flavour well you'll have to judge it for yourself.

There is also the obvious but yet to be mentioned choice of the Vaporesso Gemini tank. Not the Gemini RTA... but the Gemini tank. It looks like a Herakles Plus that was redesigned to take the Vaporesso cCell coils.

But with ccells i have found that they work great after about 5 minutes of presoaking and a few bare draws. There really is no need for the prolonged all day process you suggest. The ceramic is very tough and there is no wick to get wet.

I have one of the new gemini tanks and idk why but it leaks horribly. All seals intact. I believe its a very early model as it says 'new' on the inner packaging plastic case. I wish i could somehow get a replacement. But besides the leakage, this tank works and feels excellent.

And the Super Tank could use herakles/honor ceramic coils, 1.8 ohm but more dl than mtl. The number of coil options for these tanks is extremely high. Less so for some Aspire tanks that need top threading coil into chimney.

The Target Pro tank I believe has all the specs you were looking for and It is one of my personal favs. Never had a leak, very fast topfill with adjustable air flow and adjustable juice flow. No gurgling or spit back. I believe it's close in price to the original Target tank

DDAFCD0F-657D-476E-9A1E-B0CC81C5BEE9.jpeg A11A700F-E0AA-4CD6-9AD1-397D00E7A887.jpeg Damn, RAYMO2U this is the most rad list ever, thank you and kudos for this post! I’ve spent so much time with finding tanks I like, coils I want to use and it comes down to compatibility for me. First, I love the Atlantis 2 and my backup is IJust2 which I use on my Pico 75. Not too fancy but I’m chasing clouds, have great flavor and I am very happy with genuine ELeaf .3ohm EC heads. I just don’t want to have separate coils for various tanks so with those two tanks as my go-to’s, and I can use my ELeaf coils.

My biggest priorities are leak free options with great air flow and awesome flavor. The Atlantis 2 gives me that, and I hate its propriety drip tip but with the drip tip adapter I have that problem resolved! OMG I had the worst luck imaginable with three different Melo3 Mini’s, leaking like insane amounts of juice and it simply breaks my heart. By design, the Melo3 is awesome for its complete breakdown and cleaning — but mostly I love having choices a colbalt blue or black glass tube on it and a badass glass drip tip but they leak no matter how skilled I am with maintenance. That’s what brought me to the iJust2 and Atlantis2.

I started writing to thank JOHANNES AR for starting the thread, and RAYMO2U for the tank list. Now I’m asking for advice from anyone about the Melo3 problems I mentioned. If you have solutions, I’m listening. I did try everything I’ve come across, pressure releasing after filling, blowing it out every morning - you name it if it was in a forum or on YT I likely tried it, but, I still have hope I could find a way to live with a Melo. When I’m in the US I don’t mind the larger Melo, but in the EU I use the mini.

JOHANNES I don’t know if you found what you’re looking for, but the
Sense Herakles pro nano 2ml fits your description and is available in all black - I attached a photo. RAYMO2U if you or anyone has some Melo3 survival advice, the 2nd photo is how I like my mod to look with the blue glass on the Melo3 Mini. Thanks!

I've never heard anybody say they like the Vaporesso Ccoils.

I use them in my Tritons, Geekvape Illusion Minis, Tobeco Super Tanks, Sigelei X Tanks, Herakles Honors. Of those tanks, the Illusion Minis are my favorite. But I love the coils, they produce good flavor and last forever, it seems.

The Vaporesso ORC tank can use those ccells also.
