General squonk discussion thread. We will take over the world one day.

My collection.

Cast, stabilised banksia nuts, en route to Vaughan Richards in NZ to be crafted. I need to work out if they will be single/double caps, horn/bone/wood etc, lots of choices with the sheep shagger mods.

We can organize a collaborative with coil porn weirdos. Don't think the subtank geeks have a place in our new world order though

Good MTL attie, I always drilled mine out to 1/16 and ran twisted 32 gauge around 0.8ohm

If your used to 22mm attys with more airflow, You will likely not take to the rm2. It was a good little atty til I went all airflow, super low ohm, crazy.

I (Coilporn Weirdo) accept the offer to an appeal for a negotiation on the collaborative takeover, and I love squonkers!
I can install my own rda/drip tip though right?? :D:D

I love the look of the Aluminum, could there be a design submitted? I havent seen a Diamond plate/Cover or Finish and I think that would look badass and would offer some drop/scratch protection.
They make it in sheets and can be thin enough to mold it on to items...

Yeah. Rm2 is a flavour chaser. Negligible clowds

If you are looking at the RM2 as your first squonk atty, be aware it is a screw on cap. When learning to squonk, I found it a PITA because I was always, screwing the cap off and on to check my wick.

Like others here, I drilled it out to 7/64" I think. It is easy to build single coil, but I was not a fan of the ceramic deck.

As to the negotiations, I am vaping this right now, so will be glad to mediate!

If you are looking to be able to control your airflow and possibly play around with builds, I highly recommend the Stumpy in bottom feed configuration. Flavor for days and you can really get some nice builds in there to produce as much vapor as you want. If you like MTL, you can close off most of the airflow. If you are a lung hitter, really good air wide open.

Edit: Dual coil, or single, Kanthal, Titanium, or Nickel. It can do them all.

Today's hand check. Bronze trannie tmod. Patinaed by dreadymark. Running 0.28ohm nichrome80 duals on a cheap derringer clone.

Unflavoured. Possibly dregs of old juice though, kinda has a hint of something

The "bonkers" in the title is cos arms, legs, and long waiting lists are a normal part of squonkers.

Chowderhead was doing a cheaper version of his cam r dna200 I think

Having the same issue, I get they are unique as of right now but for a good regulated one they just want to damn much for one of the better devices.

And I'm not in some secret underground facebook club so to get some of the really cool ones someone might tell me but then they would have to kill me:)

Steam crave has brought out a 60 watt squonker. Not a bad price to get your feet wet. http://shop.steamcrave.com/squonkmod-1_p0885.html

Fatdaddy vapes sell a good range of squonking components. Between the clone, the r80 and them it should work out ok if it all fits

Have wanted to try squonking for a while now. Was thinking of trying the Fountain V2 before I go investing in more expensive gear.

Anyone have any experience with that atty? Figure for 13 bucks it might be worth a try but am wondering if I am missing out on something by going that route as opposed to more traditional squonking setups?

I have/had a squonker ordered at FT, but I don't know if they are going to be able to get it. It's been 12 days and I sent a ticket in this AM about it.

I'd like to get a squonker to try squonking out with, but am not willing to spend an arm and a leg to dip my toes in the water.

Any suggestions for another place?

I was dealing with FT for the mod. I stumbled onto it, as nothing is listed there as a "squonker".

I'll check into @DogMan suggestion for the site to look at. I don't know where else to go for a "budget" mod and atty.

Are we allowed to post links like I did? Don't want to pass anyone off.

I got a velocity mini from eciggity that came with a bf pin. Airflow for days on that, if that's what your used to. All these new two post atty are usually pretty easy to convert if they don't already have a bf pin included.

Don't know if that mod your referring to was the smokeless owl or not, but for a $25 mod that came with an atty, it really wasn't a bad mod. I never used the atty though. Can't speak to that.

It was called the terminator mod. Fast tech replied to the ticket and discontinued the item. I'll search for the owl later. Thanks for the tip.

Get the Super Hero. It's the same thing, just better built.

Worked out how to bug fix my vr mod. If you take the bottle out, you can get a multimeter probe to the silver bar to check continuity. Easy once I worked that out
