There is a Ben Franklin in Ironwood (Upper Peninsula of MI and WI border). It is mostly a tourist shop now, but we love going there every time we go home.
I am originally from the Chicago area many 5 and dimes around there I have not been up to MI in a long time now that I have decided to live in the south it will be a while remember these..

Wow. I never knew that they had laptops in the 80s. I remember Prodigy though.

This game was one of the ost fun games I have ever played. I had one of these with Batman and Penguin when I was a kid.
So did I. They are worth some money now, even more if the box is unopened.

My mom collected these and got some pretty cool things with them, we loved to put them in the books for her as kids.

Great thread. Sorry I didn't see this b4.
Makes me feel like shooting a pix of my Timex Sinclair. It's on my book shelves somewhere.
I got my first football with those S&H Stamps.
Thanks for the memory.

Sea Monkeys were pretty cool growing up. I remember the packaging to this day. They were advertised in the back pages of comic books.
LOL..Along with Charles Atlas' Dynamic Tension book.
I never fell for the X-Ray specs but I did get the Charles Atlas book.
It works, the guy was the father of isometrics
