So yea like title says. I can't taste anything. Brushed my tongue. Starting to drink water now. Trying to see what is a quick easy way to get flavor again.

I went searching through here one day and found about 8 threads dedicated to vaper's tongue, lol. That's how common it is. The one tried and true method for me, after trying EVERYTHING I've read was time. Time makes it go away. Sucks.

It's different for everyone. Could be a few days to a week. Some people have experienced it longer. If you've sampled a lot of juice very recently, it might do that to you. When I mix a bunch of samples and try them, I kind of lose taste the rest of the day.

I hear ya, but since I got into these high powered box mods I always have a back up or two..now I'm up to 5-VW mods, the latest being the IPVD2..been vaping about 3 yrs now and fortunately have had no issues with IPV at all..
I'm sure as time goes by you'll have a few more mods too.

It really is different for everyone. I've gone a week with no taste, and a day or 2. I've heard far worse than that, too. Maybe try some minty vapes and se if you can taste those? If nothing else, it's a good time to vape up all the stuff you don't care for.
I washed my mouth with some strong ass mint mouth wash. Tasted the heck out of that. Lmao.

LOL, yep, I'm sure! That's what always bothered me. I never lost the taste of anything except the vape. It will pass, it's just frustrating as hell while you're going through it.

i think and i have no evidence, but some of vapors tongue is psychological. The more you think about it the worse its getting. I mean seriously is it so bad that your vape has little to no taste for a day or 10. Its better then smoking. How often do you remember the TASTE of a cigarette. I remember more of the FEEL of a cigarrete inhale more then the taste, unless i tried someone elses cigareetes. Then I could taste a cigarette.
I vaped THE EXACT FLAVOR for 4 years all day every day. some days i never noticed the taste other days I did.
Even now with subohming and using several flavors, there are days i don't notice the flavors so much, and other days I do.
Try to stop worryings so much. Just vape away. and eventually in a few hours days weeks you will realize, Hey I do taste my vape.

if you do, try non flavored nic with pg/vg for a tank then go back or after 1/2 the tank
start adding drops of a flavor into it.
ALso try changing how the vapor hits your tongue.
take less or more drip tip in your mouth
move your tongue around etc.

I'm trying to stay away from desserts. Just doesn't do it for me anymore and I was never a big fan of candy. I mean jolly ranchers and butterscotch. But that's bout it. That's as far as my candy goes. And barely. Lol

I get vapors tongue daily.. Honestly I vape just two juices (my own DIY, a fruit cereal and a orange or blueberry cream). It's to the point where I can only taste the flavors when I brush my teeth or vape first thing in the morning. Honestly I don't even notice it anymore because I'm used to using high VG / max VG, literally the only PG I use is flavorings.

The wife had a spell with vapers tongue the other week. I made some garlic bread with the powdered garlic, and she was back to normal... I never get it anymore myself, but noticed a more intense flavor after garlic toast. I was surprised to say the least. Give it a try, but don't hang out with friends. 
Just going through my first bought of vaping fatigue. Switch to mount n do flavour from caramel...working ok...drinking lots of water...thankful for this board so I knew why I couldn't taste the flavour. Of course I spent two hours rebuilding until I realized!

Hey guys question. This actually started yesterday morning. I'm vaping a blueberry mango blend 50/50. Sometime yesterday. I would taste the flavor usually very pronounced delicious flavor. Well it got to point that flavor wasn't pronounced and was more watery tasting. So last night I hit my smok that has a banana nut bread flavor all good last night. This morning I took a couple pulls and I got same effect flavor was there not as pronounced but more watery tasting. So I'm at conclusion that it's not juice or coils but possibly me. I do my usual routine. Oil pull, brushing and mouth wash. So not sure what's up. I switch juices everyday so I can't see vapors tongue. Any ideas. Different coils, different flavor and brand flavors.

I read that if u cover the air holes in the tank and inhale the juice will wick up better. I tried it and it seemed to help...

Might be allergic to PG. Some people are. I brush my tongue weekly. I dip a tooth brush in Everclear. Gives me that antiseptic feeling & I like it.
I've never been allergic to anything and this is first time this has happened before the vapors tongue it was all good. I still get flavor but not that great flavor I always get and that watery taste is annoying. Lol

Do you stay hydrated? That'll do it. I spent today in orientation and was dying of thirst. Can't taste much right now.
