Yup, it's about that time. I'm gonna make a Game Over Custard pumpkin pie type "Autumn Blend". Gonna use Cap pumpkin. Any suggestions as to any additional flavors I should add to the mix? I figure if I make it this weekend it'll have plenty of time to steep.

Nice. I was just now looking for a good recipe. I've looked all over and haven't found too many. I have cap pumpkin pie (spice) and fw pumpkin spice. I tried both and I'm definitely leaning towards the cap. I was kinda worried not having plain pumpkin as it seams like these are both mainly spice blends, however pumpkin doesn't taste like much except for the spice so hopefully I'll be alright. Definitely have goc and many many other flavors. I was thinking some goc, maybe tfa pie crust, catalan cream, possibly whipped cream and depending on how spicy it turns out maybe cinnamon danish or cinnamon roll but that may be too much. Glad you posted bring on any good recipes or suggestions if you've got them. I'll see what I can come up with. Hopefully something tasty and appropriate for the fall season where I'm at.

Oops - the CAP I have is Pumpkin Pie, not just plain pumpkin. It doesn't have the word "Spice" on it, but I can smell the spices in it. Okay, I'm gonna go look at my flavors and see what else might be good with it.

Less than 2 minutes browsing - there are SO MANY possibilities! I'll bring my tablet over there and make a list and see what you guys think.

Okay, I'm over at my "Flavor Station". :D

I'm gonna list a bunch of possibilities, and obviously we won't be using ALL of them. Don't yell at me for some of these, I'm thinking they could be used in minute amounts as a "certain something" background flavor.

Here we go:
  • CAP/TFA Toasted Almond
  • FA Apple Stark and/or Apple Fuji
  • INW Biscuit
  • FA Caramel
  • FA Cardamom
  • FA Clove (too redundant?)
  • ANY additional creams or custards?
  • Mama J's "The Ginger"
  • CAP Graham Cracker (V1 or V2)
  • FA Hazelnut
  • TFA Holiday Spice
  • FA Honey
  • Hangsen Ice Cream (On Top???)
  • FA Joy
  • FA/CAP Lemon Sicily
  • FW Macadamia Nut
  • FA Maple Syrup
  • CAP/FA/TFA Marshmallow
  • FA Condensed Milk
  • TFA Dairy/Milk
  • FA Nut Mix
  • TFA Pie Crust
  • CAP Root Beer (Seriously!)
  • Any of the vanillas
  • TFA Whipped Cream
Okay, that's what I have that I think could be used. Any ideas?

I'll start the recipe here, and edit it as we go along. I'll also post it on e-liquid-recipes.com under the name "Vaping Underground Pumpkin Custard Collaborative".

  • Mama J's Game Over Custard - 8.5%
  • CAP Pumpkin Pie - 6.5%
  • TFA Holiday Spice - 0.25%
  • TFA Pie Crust -1%
  • TFA Whipped Cream - 2%

  • TFA Whipped Cream - 2%
  • TFA Horchata - 0.25% (or less use this very lightly!)
This is my personal modification, hopefully its agreeable.
Edit: fixed a percentage

Okay - done.

I can't put Horchata in it though, because I don't have any. I'm making whatever the finalized recipe is tonight, and letting it steep until next Saturday (8/5)

That holiday spice is a POTENT one! I'm afraid 1% will spice the rest of the recipe away, might wanna start at .25.....;)

I dipped in a toothpick and tasted, yikes, blew my socks off:D.

Scary flavoring...

If you want a little Bakery Cinnamon I'd use around 2% FW Cinnamon Roll or TFA/CAP Cinnamon Danish.
Or a couple drops of FA Cinnamon Ceylon.

Okay, it's mixing time! I'll let it steep until next Saturday then see how it turns out.

Here's what I ended up with on the eLiquid Recipes site:

Okay, now for the wait. Smells pretty darn good. I put a little dab on my finger, and it tastes pretty good too. Might not be able to steep it until Saturday... My latest ADV will be gone by tomorrow night.

Gonna finish up my current ADV and fill up the subtank mini later. Might just have to put some in the dripper to taste. I'm thinkin' it might not need to steep. I'm at work right now, so when I get home I'll try it.

I'm really proud of myself, patience has never been part of my personality profile, especially when it comes to a good vape. ;)

Okay, I couldn't wait so I through together a quick coil (ended up at 0.97ohms) and stuck it in the dripper.
Not too happy with the results... The Holiday Spice seems to give it just a tad bit too much clove flavor.
I'm gonna give my tongue a rest and try it again in a bit. I really want to try it in my subtank mini, though, because I ALWAYS get mixed results when dripping. I can't figure out why.

Here's a pic of the quick build I through together:

So I tried it again on a different RDA with a different build (the one I used to test the Delosi flavors with), and it's better for some reason. Still a little strong on the spice, though. I'll put it in the subtank tomorrow or Wednesday and try it there. I'm thinkin' the K.I.S.S. theory works best here - just Pumpkin Pie and Game Over Custard. The Pie Crust flavor was negligible, at best. There's a New England favorite dessert called "Indian Pudding" that is basically pumpkin pie filling baked in a casserole dish with no crust. Simple, yet delicious.

But I finally got to use one of my 0.2ml pipettes! :D

I'll try it in the subtank, and if it's still too strong I'll make a 2nd batch without the spice and mix 'em together. Like I said, for some reason I just can't seem to get the same flavor from and RDA that I can from my subtank - even though I'm using the RBA in it.

Same here, everything is much stronger in a rda. I'd make another batch anyway and set the first one aside to see how it mellows.

You could just skip the pumpkin pie spice and just use the pumpkin. The spice one has spices in it already, the holiday spice might be too much.

Didn't know that....believe it or not, of all the bottles in my massive flavor collection, I have no pumpkin....:(
