Okay, let's nip this in the bud. My name is (PERSONAL INFORMATION REMOVED BY STAFF). I was busted for a DUI last year leaving my mother's memorial. I pled guilty and paid the consequences. I was guilty of driving over the limit and allowing my emotions to cloud my judgement. Of course my booking photo is online, everyone's is. As are people's contact information, employment information, property records, posts in open forums, etc. Claiming to have power over someone because of something readily available online isn't extortion, it's stupid.

A few weeks ago a new member, noted in their profile to be female, posted in a sub-forum on ECF. The next day all of that person's posts had been deleted.
This message by averna00175 has been removed from public view. Deleted by a moderator, Jul 27, 2015, Reason: New identity of previously banned member. Jul 26, 20015

After the posts were deleted people were wondering who it was. I did a search for information on "averna00175" and posted the public information I found. I did not know it was fir3b1rd. The post wasn't malicious, it was information on the identity of a troll.

When confronted by f1r3b1rd hurling insults at me, almost a month later, I denied posting his personal information, because I didn't know what he was talking about. It took me close to an hour to scroll back through the forum to figure out what he might be referring to. Up until that point I did not know he was averna00175. I also did not know my post had been deleted. Had I know it was him at the time, I would have deleted it myself. Again, I did not knowingly post his personal, albeit public, information and my post was quickly deleted.

I'm sorry f1reb1rd. I had no intention to compromise you. You, however, seem to be intentionally trying to hurt me. Whatever; it's the internet.

Are you done now?

Sorry your thread was hijacked itsyourmove, I think having a P3 thread in this forum will be interesting. I look forward to reading what members here have to say about it.

So that's how you want to play it? You want to let the general public on this forum decide if posting personal information In a vaping forum is ok?
You really have zero ethics? or is there a deeper issue?

Dude... Really???

It wasn't an attack on Tony.

It was a response to a jerk named (Insert Name you used here).

We like Tony, well at least I do. He and his friends would make that place ROCK!!! (Red, Troll Hunter... ETC...)

Look, She said she was sorry. Can we move on and develop here what will never be at ECF again?

Signed: A Tony FanBouy, Jim

Edit: Love your Avi... What does the text say?

The way I see things, and maybe I'm a bit naive or optimistic, is that people generally have good intentions. So I can't fault any of you for wanting to defend a friend.

I also saw the posts that were put up by the new user account (thanks to all of them being quoted and not deleted in the aftermath), and none of them were by any definition "troll posts". What I saw was someone who was banned because of unrelated circumstances, coming in, being respectful, and simply trying to reconnect with some old friends.

I would also like to give the benefit of doubt that the intentions where good in why the full curriculum vitae was posted in the forum, however, I can't. If none of the posts were malicious, insulting or trolling in any way, there would be no reason to even rat the person out unless you had a suspicion that the new member was someone who was banned. So even by making that assumption, if you knew the person was the banned individual, public posting was not justified, when there are facilities to report the posts, and the staff all have means to privately contact them with the information. So where does my optimism come in here? I would like to be optimistic and say it was simply a lack of judgement--a mistake and not something of malicious intent...but that I find hard to do.
From this point out, I feel no need to engage you in any further conversation, and am adult enough to just walk away from the bickering and banter...but I couldn't do so without giving my $0.02 on the matter.

Now...back on topic.
I was a ProVari 2 owner, and it was a decent device, but didn't go without its issues (loose boards was the big one). Wouldn't mind trying a P3 if it had more power, as I think they are nice looking devices.
Question to P3 owners-- have they changed the way the board mounts compared to the older ProVari that caused the issues in the past?

Well Said!!!

And Yes it appears as though there is a cartridge casing that the internals sit in and then are slid into the P3. Probably for the new spring tension that is pushing hard on the board. I don't see it as a failure point.

I also cannot wait for more POWAH!!!

Yes I am Ping. Yes TO is my friend. No, I don't care about her record, photos, ect. What I do know is TO has me laugh when I was down and I am thankful to her. As far as records go, well I better not go there, although I doubt you can check back to the 70's and 80's. Tony you and I battled on the thread Bronze started about clones vs authentics. It's all ancient history now. I never lost a minute's sleep over anything anyone said about me.

Just because this forum allows freedom of speech which I'm all for and always was a believer in freedom of speech we can use others threads to vent. I started this thread just in case there were P3 owners here. Tony you are one of them and welcome. Peace brother as life is too short.

I'll keep this short. I started this thread for Provari P3 owners and for those interested in Provari. There is no need to discuss price, under powered, or behind the times. I know all that. 20 watts is the max and it will fire a .5 ohm coil. Talk about your Provari, kids, wife, family whatever. I'm a low wattage Kayfun single coil person. Hopefully this thread can be a fun place to hang out in. :)

Speaking of kayfuns I saw that Moon Mountain Vapor has an Authentic Russian 91% on clearance for $44.00

That's a good price. A friend of mine has a russian and he loves it.

It's one of those things where a year ago I wanted one really bad but at the time was only able to afford a clone.
I bought a good clone that ran close to $30.
Now that it is being sold at a great price I kind of still want it even though I will most likely not use it.o_O

See, I had a Russian 91%, and had quite a few issues with it. Paid a few $ more and got the authentic Kayfun, with the matching beauty ring... And when that was paired with one of my Provari that I refurbished to a brushed finish-- from a distance it looked like it was one solid piece of stainless lol

And think vapers like to bicker online? Go into a golf forum... You have the Mizuno guys and Taylormade supporters at each others throats....and in the next thread it's the Ping fans and Titleist boot lickers (some call them the Titlelitists).

Speaking of KayFuns, has anyone on here bought the 528 Custom Vapes modified unit?

Thanks, Jim

Thats it. The newer ones are made in china now. So if you have an original one, modified here in the US, it'll be worth more.

But, I paid 100 bucks for my first one. Second one cost about 40 bucks on ebay. They still have more... I was thinkin about a 3rd one.

Airflow is better than a stock unit, but not quite a dripper. I like em.

Looks nice. Where is it made?
Its an original modification from a couple guys in Cali...

They have since farmed the work out to china.

I have 2, and just ordered a 3rd from ebay.

1st one cost 100 bucks. 2nd two cost under 40 bucks each. (No Clone, same exact thing)

I Emailed contact info at 528customs before 1st purchase, they assured me they were American Made. Funny. But, I only use the base, cause thats where the magic is at!!!

Back OT. Don't have a P3 but here is my 2015 Classic and my original 2.5. The 2.5 has actually been passed on to my girlfriend. The Classic is not the one I always grab. But it is my around the house casual vape. Hopefully they will upgrade the power on the Classic soon. It will get more use if they do.

I found that they only serialized the American made ones.

A true serialized, American Made one is a bit of a treasure.

I know I was asking because he was trying to sort it out it seamed, I do the same but for nickel builds I use the kf4 Cap and m tank . the kf4 doesn't make a solid enough connection for nickel, even with the replacement springs, so I keep it Kanthal and a belle vape cap.

I found a 528 monster kayfun. The 528 folks said they no longer serialize the Mv2Kayfun. And they have a distributor in the US. I think New York or Jersey?
