Idk if it's a good thing or not when you find something really nice and addictive. It can have detrimental consequences like taking up all the cupboard space

I could have my mother in law come there, she is a severe diabetic, the only drawback is she's about 500 lbs.

Funny stuff. I got all of my three packages from USPS, that were supposed to come on three different days, all at once. Yay, right?
Odd thing, I never heard the door at all, but saw Tiki had reacted to something so I checked it. There were my three packages, nicely stacked by the door. Only problem was, the top two packages were like the size of playing cards and IDK how they didn't just blow away. Weird.
But yeah, I got my new $32 camera, spare battery and a couple of Vision Victory BCC clones plus a pack of PT heads from DV. Woooo!
It's pretty sweet....that case is actually leather and has a magnetic flap closure. Neat.

Yeah, it's a bit of a change for sure from my chunky old camera. But, I'm learning the menus and already have it mostly setup the way I want.
It's really dam fast compared to the Canon with it's older NiMh batteries. I've always avoided the OEM battery packs, thx to Sony and their ridiculous standards.
But, this one isn't bad at all and the spare battery was only $8.00 for a 940mAh. I already found the exposure, ISO and white balance adjustments, so I'm happy.
Plus, this takes 720p videos, has 16x9 aspect ratio available and can handle the newer SDXC SD cards.

Sure they do. All you need is a DSLR. Same as a 35mm film camera, but it's digital. But, the glass will cost ya. ;-)

Hell, I've got an ancient Mamiya-Sekor 500TL 35mm camera as old as I am, but it's a bit banged up and needs some work.
But, if I had a DSLR, I could use the lenses from it. Of course, it wouldn't be auto-focus then, but you could do it.
