Has anyone notice a difference between vg's? I found some at Wal-Mart that I tried first just to get going and then ordered some from tfa. Tfa seems to have it's flavor come out the next day where as the Wal-Mart vg was great right away. I like my juice fresh and did the exact same recipe and the tfa didn't taste as good till the next day. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Its 3.88 here. Which is more than online stuff but i noticed it doesnt really need an over night setting to be good on flavor. I can shake and vape with this.

I use the same stuff, only from the grocery store (Food City here). $2.99 for 177ml, no odor, no taste....and my mixes taste the same as they did with the stuff I bought online from vendors. Figure in shipping and you're not paying much more at all.

How does it vape?

You can't tell the difference in this and what you get from online vape shops. Smooth as silk, clean, no taste at all really. I read on a few forums where pharmacists had posted, saying all vg was made by Hummco and repackaged by different markets. Completely safe to vape, USP. I like it myself, pick up a couple of bottles for the freezer every time I'm out grocery shopping. You'll never know the difference, promise.

Yeah, and when you run out you don't have to deal with the bumbling clutzes from the post office. Lol! VG is heavy, shipping is ridiculous if you order a bottle with any size to it.

Yep it works good. The only thing I've noticed is the over night steep on my one recipe with the online stuff.

I was using NOW brand VG from my local health food store for some time.
Seemed to be OK, but recently switched to the one from RTS.
I can't really notice much difference in taste tho.
Shipping is kinda steep for a gallon, but it lasts me a long time only using 20-30%.

BTW: RTS Vapes sells an imported non-GMO VG made from Coconuts.
Most others are SOY based GMO, if your concerned about that anyway.

Might be something to look into.

I stay with palm or coconut based vg.
I dislike soy in all forms and am sensitive as all get out. If I have more than a bit in foods I have skin erruptions.

That sucks. I'm not allergic to anything but mosquitos so I can use whatever. I haven't noticed a dif in taste between the two vg I have but I did notice my recipe needed to sit over night. That was it

Nice. It's a little expensive when you start adding it up. But to have a bottle just for yourself it's nice

when i found that wally world special vg.. i did notice, some tend to go bad and will mute your juice..
vape it long enough and you will see too. I steer clear of vg from walmart.. but then I buy in bulk too..

I haven't noticed that at all. Course I only make 15ml at a time because I really like that fresh sweet taste. Also could do with the recipe I'm making.

A place local here has bulk palm based vg. I get it a gallon at a time and get some walking in picking it up.
So far has been LOADS better and cheaper than the unknown sourced vg from wally/cvs/health food places.

I've never had a problem with what I buy at the grocery store. And my freezer is chock full of it.

Yep. Pg, vg, nic.....all in the freezer and it won't freeze. Vg needs to get to room temperature to be able to work with it, but for long term storage, pack it in there. Won't hurt a thing.

Me too!!! Remember how antsy you would get when you were on your last pack of smokes? On the edge of panic, figuring out how quickly you could get to the store? Yeah, I never ever want that feeling again! So I pick up stuff whenever I can, and stash it ;)

Lol! Quite a pair we are, yes! We have an extra refrigerator in my office, mainly keep cold drinks in it, but the freezer above it is half full of DIY fluids. I'll have it full before the end of summer. ;)

That's funny. One day I want to have a stash like that. But only has enough cash to get one recipe.

I doubt PG/VG will ever be difficult to get but I do have a gallon of each socked away. Flavors and nic though, I'm working at getting a lifetime supply socked away. Even if they don't get totally banned, they will likely become much more expensive in the near future.

That stuff has a shelf life though doesn't it? Thought nicotine and flavor can go bad just sitting around. In a fridge or not.

I would not freeze the flavor concentrates, no. Some of them might actually freeze, I'm not sure, but when flavoring goes from very cold to room temperature, there's condensation inside the bottle. That can invite bacteria.

I, like others here, keep our flavorings on shelves, in boxes, on desktops, in cabinets, etc., and use them as needed, yes. My finished mixes are stored the same way, but never in the fridge. I'm pretty sure it was @Smoky Blue who told me about not refrigerating flavoring or juices because of the condensation.

Do you let them breathe for awhile or just keep the lids tight when finished?

The only time I leave the cap off anything is if I'm getting an alcohol aroma from anything I've made. I leave it off for an hour or so to let the alcohol evaporate, then cap it back up. Exposure to air can decompose your nicotine.
