The Billet Box is kind of a niche setup.

For some people it's the greatest thing ever.

For others... it's not :)

It takes more time and effort than most other systems to really get to know. In my opinion some folks don't give it enough time and effort to find out whether it's for them or not. Of course there are also some folks for whom that time and effort requirement itself makes it not for them. There's nothing wrong with any of this. People are different.

A lot of it has to do with somebody's expectations going in. It's a GREAT system, but it is not automatically a hundred times better at anything than what somebody might already have.

I love the thing. But I also love a bunch of other stuff that it will never replace.
Yeah I'm liking it more and more everyday I use it, it's definitely the most comfortable setup I have to.

Throwing some primer down on my old oak kitchen cabinets. Then 2 top coats of a semi gloss industrial enamel.

I do need a short whip. This titan gun is very comfortable to hold and use. Super easy to take apart to clean. The finger gaurd/clip is also the only wrench needed to remove gun assembly to clean the filters.
I paid more for the gun than the pump running it.

They are easy to take apart:). Basically just a needle and diffuser. I suppose there's a filter in the handle(+ behind tip). A double orifice tip is nice for fine finishes but everything needs to be super clean, and just as good can be achieved with single if using a base other than waterborn. Swivel between gun/whip makes it nice for "hand" work - cabinetry, millwork, etc where short runs and differing angles are used. I don't think I'd want that gun for all day/every day use. Seems the hand rest would turn into a rubbing spot on the hand.

What pump is it?

It's super light weight. Ive ran this gun for 10 hours straight. Very comfortable.

It's being pushed by a graco tradeworks 150. Super cheap pump rated for 15 gallons a year I think. Ive pushed close to 1500 gallons thru it...
Paid $215 for the pump 6 years ago. That $215 has made me $150k or more. Just last fall the graco contractor gun that came with it crapped out. Needle wouldn't seat properly. Couldn't rebuild. So I dropped $250 on this Titan rx pro.

sounds like that comes from experience  . yeah, some, as if you didn't already know that. but i used large cardboard and one of those paint shield things to keep it to a minimum . and the smallest nozzle i could find. these are real time and labor savers. they are literally the power washers of paint guns.

Haven't had this out in ages, and figured why not. I love Pico's, and I love 26650's. Other than the extremely bad threaded cap, been a fantastic mod for me over time. :)

I have one of those in rotation also. Just recently put an eLeaf Lemo 2 on it, and those two pieces work quite well together. Have always liked that mod with a sort of tall-ish tank on it. Seems to balance out the fat battery end. :) That mod is surprisingly ergonomic, too.

I agree. Like a tallish tank, feels great in the hand. I also love the fairly simple chip that allows the battery to last forever

That's very beautiful. If I were a girl, or even a tad less feminine than I already am, I would totally rock one :D

It is actually a white Nebox with a wrap to cover the nicks and scrapes- lol

I have this one too- but it stays in my storage cabinet waiting for the 1st one to die- black Nebox with a Dragon wrap.

Now that I love! What is the Nebox? Looks like some sort of AIO? RBA?

Yes the Kanger Nebox is one of the 1st regulated to 60w AIOs- takes a removable 18650 battery, holds 10 mls of juice. Uses Kanger SSOCC and OCC coils- included RBA too. Does TC, but I only do wattage. Vape is great, Restricted Lung for me.
These have the reputation of leaking and often called the leakbox- since the coil is on the bottom- but I have had no massive leaks, I mainly keep it on it's side to keep the liquid pressure off the bottom, when I get any type of leaking, it means I need to install a new coil, RBA works the best. My 1st Nebox is still going strong at almost 4 1/2 years- I bought my other 2 on a sale at $10.00 each, cause I love my 1st one so much.
Getting the battery in and out is a con- so I charge in the Nebox- works great!

Limited Edition Wismec DNA 250

It was a Wismec bronze edition, correct? If it is the one I remember. Yeah that is a beauty. I like the Rx's. I have two currently. But not a dna. That is very nice and an excellent platform for the dna chip. They would do well to release some more, imo.

Seriously have not put this down since I got it.
The radar seems to perform better for me than the matching rda that came with the tube tho. The radar doesn't get as hot with the same build inside.
Not going to polish this thing any time soon. Just gonna let the outside do what it wants.

That looks very sharp. I have an og Zeus that I still need to play with more too.
I've had the Zeus for a while, it's the only one I had that matched somewhat close :)

It is, and I have four of the Gen 3 models, two duals and two triples. I wish you could get the dual with a DNA chip.
That's an absolutely beautiful mod.
Love the color, and the mixture of textures.
Thanks, so do I. :)

I like the Radar alot, but I don't know how you're getting all that heat in the cap with the Unicorn. I have a massive build (I got from @Don29palms) in one of mine on a series stack and it barely gets warm to the touch. You must have your coils real close to the cap or be chain vaping it alot or something. :)

I currently have and enjoy a Gen 3-300 and an old Rx 200. I had an Rx mini, which I loved. But I pif'd it, grudginly. The individual lost it very shortly after I gave it to them. I definately should of kept it. I would live a dna Releaux. I like the mod's and it would round out my meager collection.

Is that a Twisted Messes RDA? Tough to tell from that angle.

Also, do you have a trinity bullet cap too? I was wondering how they compare. I don't have any of the comp caps.
It is a twisted messes 24mm. I wish I had a few others to compare. Just trade the og cap of this rda to Ms trixy for the trinity cap. I definitely need to pick up a couple more.

I have 2 bullet caps, for the Dot 24 and the spare deck I had for the Redemption, but no comp caps. I knew I shoulda got a couple when they were 6 bucks a while back at the trinity site. .

Like my name says...I chain vape. Running 3mm staples, 5 wrap, nichrome, something close to 0.12 ohms. Same build in the radar and the unicorn rda. Unicorn gets hot, like real hot. Radar gets mildly warm. Might just be the nature of the white brass top cap on the unicorn rda. Im no scientist

It having two rows of OG Goon like air holes sitting above each other like that with no option to close off each row separately on the Unicorn is why I passed on the Unicorn. There's just no way you can get the airflow focussed enough that it slams right into the coils with this, as a lot of the airflow gets directed above and below the coils so not very suitable for chain vaping IMO... there's always pros and cons to everything I guess. I used to chain vape a lot also. I mean, no matter which RDA that I kept trying, eventually they all got hot. lol

That said, the final solution that worked for me was twofold: 1/ switching between multiple setups allowing them to cool down, and 2/ less chain vaping by throwing in multi-battery mechs into my rotation for higher power in cohort with bigger diameter RDAs and bigger coils while still using relatively thin (i.e. no thicker than 28g) Ni80 wire for the cores. That's right, sometimes bigger really is better...
