Not planned, but not prevented either. It was kind of a let's see what happens situation.
Having a newborn at 37 should be interesting!

I'm with you bro. I have grown kids and two that are 9 and 7. The 7 yr old was born when I was 36, you quickly learn you don't have the energy like in your 20's and it's all about pacing yourself :giggle:

My first one doc said, it didn't take. I said wtf you mean it didn't take? He said sorry, shit happens. We cut such a small amout out in case you decide to get it reversed, sometimes it re attaches. I grabbed him by the ear and yelled, I DONT WANT IT REVERSED! CUT AN INCH OUT IF YOU HAVE TO!!! :D
When I went in for my consult before the procedure the doc explained that he puts surgical steel clamps crimped on the end of the cuts, I said hell yeah gimme that one after 6 kids I'm a trillion percent done!

I don't have those panels, but i do have an orange button haha.I got a Nolli designs button and drip tip, they look great against the orange of the mod.

What do you think of that Nolli tip? I've been debating on them for quite a while... I'm pretty much settled in the Never Normal whistle tips these days but I'm curious

It's pretty nice.I don't normally like the smaller tips like that one,but i'm getting used to it.The only complaint i can think of,is the little nubs on the bottom that grab into the key/510 adapter thing. It's probably my fault,i think i over tightened it,but those nubs wore down pretty quick on mine.I'm considering buying another set for another BB though, because they do look really nice.I may grab a tip/button set from Crispy caps too, they have the wider 810 type tips, which is what i really like, similar to the Never normal doughnut tip,i think i got that from you didn't i?

Yep, you definitely got the Nub tip from me haha! I've heard good things about the Crispy Caps. Nick Ricotta just started doing Billet sets too

Although I did just finish 8oz of Chicken and 7oz of broccoli stir fry... which ended up being 7.7g Net Carbs and 462Cals... had 6 cups of coffee though and 5 bottles of water
Just finished a half a rack of baby back ribs (just got them out of the smoker) coleslaw (I made earlier today) and mashed potatoes (my wife made them). No beer since I have to work tomorrow so....just coffee...
I did cut down, no bread (corn or otherwise), only half a rack of ribs......

Everybody but me seems to have a handle on the no beer before work thing

That entire meal sounds delicious

I might go to coops bbq this weekend... I get the 3lb platter

And yes I can eat 3lbs of BBQ in one sitting.

Get a lb of pulled pork, lb of brisket, 3 bones of beef ribs and half rack of St. Louis ribs.

Myra freaked out the last time we went and I grabbed that...

I make sure not to eat 24hrs before going.

Brisket is my all time favorite

Agreed on the brisket. My wife was recently in Texas, and sent me a pic of some brisket taco's she was eating. Said they were the best thing she had ever eaten. Sooo jealous......

Seems like it would be enough for you then. I guess you wouldn't be going through as much as say dripping though, so maybe not? I don't really do anything in the middle. Basically mtl at 9, or wide open dl at 3.
So I've been wondering about this. I vape 3mg in my squonks and drips, and a 30mg salt nic (commercial) in my Pasito and Innokin Zenith (both over 1 ohm). If I put a >1 ohm build in a BB with MTL will that work the same?

100%.
I ran a mtl set up in mine with high nic and it worked like a charm, vaped like, but better, than a pod system, it's also dependent on your af, but you probably have an adjustable ring.

You must be cutting down or something! I demolished a 16 lb deep fried turkey at one sitting but at that time I had some good wine (home made) to keep it company:vino:
I should add that I was hungry at the time:confused:

Well I can attest to being able to run the Xeta bone dry. Wasn't trying to, actually took the panel off cuz batt was low, but yeah, bone dry without a dry hit :vino:

pssst, i see 2 drops in there.

that wrap looks cool. you have batts just for the BB ? or you just don't care in other mods ?

hey, i see you didn't use the air flow limiter. neither did i, mostly cause i forgot to put it on . but i never intended to use it.

I have never tried salts, but basically yes, I think. I vape 9-12 mg in all my mtl set ups, .8-1.2 ohms. Carries over to the BB. I vape 3mg in all things squonk (unless set up for mtl), and all drippers or dl tanks. It has the same effect to me. Don't need more than the 3 in those setups, and need at least 9 in mtl's. If that makes sense

Lol, I did try to get that last drop, and it started to get a touch dry. I have single cells for all single cell mods. I have rewrapped all of them. Currently 8 in use. Most of my mods don't show them, so I don't care. But yeah, I wrap them upside down so they show right side up in BB :)
I love that wrap, came from you ;)

Nope, no need to use AF ring. Beauty of the changable chimney insert and af plug, get it the way you want, and screw that worthless pos plastic ring :shades:

Same reason i was so happy to use kindbright af plugs in the vapeshell, goodbye plastic af ring :bliss:

I grabbed some of those with a recent FT order, but haven't tried them yet since I've been into the Xeta so much.

I have unmarried VT5As I've been using in my Billet Boxes and also wrap them upside down so they show right side up. They last forever, but HG2s would probably be even better.

Yeah, those look pretty good.I did a very quick try on mine when i first got it,but that was with a nail buffer thing,i was too lazy to go out to the garage and get the micro mesh, then spend all that effort of going through all the grits haha.

yeah, well, don't bother. i buffed mine, then saw a tiny blemish. i took out 10000g sandpaper. it scuffed it down duller than stock.
buff it or leave it, is my humble experience. ymmv. oh, and if you do buff it, do not press hard, just go easy, doesn't take much.
that is an 8" wheel.

someone said to use wax or something. i don't have any wax, so idk, though i can see it working well.

I really like the 1.4mm. Perfect to me. I would never use the .8, so I drilled it out. 1 1/16 was the closest I could get, comes out to 1.55mm. Have not tried it yet. With the exception of 4 20's I keep separate for mech's, all of my single cells are 20 amp 3000 mah, so I don't worry about wraps and telling them from one another. All lghg2's, vtc6's and the pink samsungs. Some say 15a on those, some say 20a. I am usually only pulling 4-5 amps in these builds, so I don't care. Only ended up with two vtc5a's and left them married. I lov em. But I have had zero issues with any of these mentioned batteries. I just tried to stick with the well trusted ones, and it has served me well :)

I recently had a battery ghost drain (from the sxk BB). Never had that before. Left it in for a couple of days, and went down to 1.8 volts  Never had that hapoen before, but it charged up and seems to be fine. I read some say don't use after an over discharge, but I'm using it and monitoring.

i just had a moli 21700 that drained to .98v(no typo). i charged it some, got it to 3.5v. let it sit overnight. next day chraged it a little more, let it sit. then fully charged it. i have been using it my overlord mech and it is working fine. but i bet that did take some life out of it.

Epic vapemail day on deck...

VWM Integra, SXK Tell clone (thanks @dubya314, your stuff will go out today!), replacement Amulet from Uwell (good Chinese customer service?!), and possibly my FT order with the black boro gaskets and a Chubby Gorilla style bottle opener.

Still waiting on the Hippovape VSS RBA for my Grimm Kit from 3F. Today marks 14 days... usually they beat my FT orders by damn near a week.

Oh I've been there plenty of times haha! I got some red o-rings from Amazon too. Hopefully they'll be a bit softer and be more forgiving than the standard ones

I came close to giving up, but did get it and it's fine now. Next one, I'm going to try thoroughly washing the boro and letting it dry thoroughly too. I'm thinking maybe if the gasket is gotten in the channel with no juice under it at first before lubing it up, it will stick in the channel better instead of pulling out. Maybe.

Batteries are the one thing I don't take chances with.

Have my 1 month old Samsung 30Ts... bought 8... one of them acts funny and gets warmer than the rest... not like OMG its hot in my mech... but I notice it in hand feel temps... Marked it and don't use it anymore in the Overlord. Did a Internal Resistance test when I got them all, and it's a few points higher already, but nothing out of the ordinary... but the hand feel was enough for me to regulate it to flash light duty.

Have 6 more 30Ts arriving today, will IR test them, label the dates on them and charge-discharge-charge them as I do all new cells and put them in rotation.

Before I gave away all my VTC5A's to Steeldriver (and a few other cells) I tested them each month, some of the 5As even after 2 years of service only dropped to 4.14v fully charged, but I would 1.5A charge those cells... never did low and slow charging to see if they would charge further before being cutoff; like my 30Ts I charge them at .7a and they top off at 4.2v if I charge them at the normal rate of 1.5A they always stop at 4.19v... yeah I know a whopping 35mAh lol

Long story short... maybe in a regulated with low draw I might try to revive a cell depleted past 2.5v... but no way in hell would I for a mech... bad things happen to the cell chemistry when depleted below 2.5v... and $6 is not worth tempting fate ;)

Yeah, even though we only know each other online, I consider Jinx'd a friend. He's a big boy, but he worries me sometimes when it comes to batteries. There are x-rays of guys with broken jaws, teeth blown out and purple hands swollen open from exploding round cell lion batteries along with a few deaths. Like you say, known good authentic cells can be had for a few bucks, I would respectfully encourage him not to be so dismissive about the risks.

Personally, unless a battery is 100% when it comes to the safety indicators, meaning never under or overcharged, never showing goofy behavior etc, it doesn't go near my mechs for sure. If it doesn't seem too bad, I have a couple I'll run in regulated devices at moderate power.

What are you using to test internal resistance? My Opus has an IR test (Jinx'd has one too) which is probably not extremely accurate, but does show changes over time.

The Opus also decreases charging current in proportion to how close it sees the cell getting to it's rated cutoff voltage. Even if I start one at 3 volts and 2 amps (usually 1.5 though) it'll finish the last couple tenths of a volt under 500ma trickling down to under 100 right at the end where it reports the cutoff voltage, time on the charger and MAH restored.

I have an opus also... the IR reading isn't exact, but its a baseline I use nonetheless... Mooch gives the actual IR... I just note what the opus read averaged over 5 inserts.

Like I mentioned... my Opus BT-C3100 is probably the exact same one you have, and with 30Ts if I have all 4 bays filled, it seems to stop at 4.19v if I charge above 700mAh, doesn't exhibit this behavior with two cells in slot 1 and 4 if I charge at 1.5a or even 2a.

I do agree on all other points though... firm believer of things being 100% right, or they are 100% wrong

Yes. Great unit for the money. I just wish it was firmware upgradable. I also grabbed an aftermarket DC cord for it rated at 4 amps (different discussion)

I have not had occasion to observe the behaviors you mention. I rarely charge more than 2 batteries at a time.

A couple reviews I've read said that the IR test isn't that bad anyway, but I'm not betting the farm on it's surgical accuracy. Also I assume you factor in the rails and stuff like the manual says. In any case, it is quite useful for showing changes and badly degraded cells as you've said.

Yup... Of all things I wished it had, was a USB port lol... one less outlet used by my phone charger.

Thinking of grabbing a new charger though, not that anything is wrong with the Opus... but I do like SkyRC MC3000

Thanks for the thoughts on the Nolli!

Yep, you definitely got the Nub tip from me haha! I've heard good things about the Crispy Caps. Nick Ricotta just started doing Billet sets too

No problem, they are some really nice tips, great color in them.
I thought i got that tip from you,but couldn't remember haha,it has definitely became one of my favorites,i wish they still made them.
I had not even known Crispy caps made BB sets until i seen a post from them on one of the FB groups i'm in,so figure i'll end up grabbing a set to check out.
I had never even heard of Nick Ricotta until your post,so i checked out his site, that green and black swirl set is very nice,i may have to grab that too,it should go well with the green/black SXK panels i have coming.
