My recent win from @Heaven Gifts, my first pod style device! This thing feels well built, looks nice, and is easy to use.
Gonna give this a go round for a little bit, then post what I think of it in the near future.

They usually rub that with some kind of mineral spirit or equivalent when photographing to make the color and grain pop.

this is the reply i got from the seller. remember, this guy is ukranian. and whether or not he is pulling my chain ?

Hello.
After polishing with fine grain sandpaper, we conduct polishing of dialux paste (white).
Danish oil is used for finishing the handle. It penetrates deeply into the fibers of wood, and after polymerization, forms a reliable moisture-repellent coating, the structure of the wood is perfectly manifested. Apply with a brush, cotton wool, or cloth. Not toxic. Drying time is about 5 hours.

That's a fancy way of saying we dressed it for pictures. You can still draw the grain out of that when you are done working the wood. What are you planning on doing as the final finish?

well, i can believe what he says, up to a point. see, its not the grain, it has plenty of that. its the color, his listing the block has yellow in it. the bare block, which is what was shown in the listing(the grain and patterns proove this), is very bland. that means he didn't do anything to the block. he photoshopped the color to brighten it up.

all this said, the crude test finish i put on it, while not the same color, looks pretty darned good. in fact, to the point of being what i wanted, and couldn't find, in the first place.

the finish, i am testing things. poly is 'plan A'. and that could change.

Hi @marter Yes you can get FA Corn from Chefsflavours.com.uk

Chefs also had the FA Custard Premium. But its cheaper if you buy their repackaged Flavour Creative (they rename the brand when they repackage but its the same stuff) so its called Flavour Creative Prem Custard.

FA Custard wouldn’t sub Premium Custard the Premium Custard is so worth buying its divine, right @wildgypsy70 ? Shipping from the UK to me in NJ usually takes 7 days. But my last order came in 5 & I didn’t pay extra for the tracking. Just Royal Mail no tracking.
@Heartsdelight so as long as I'm ordering (FA Corn and FC Custard Prem) is there anything else I should get that I'll wish I had ordered later? I know that's a wide open question but I'm just not experienced enough to know what I'll need next. BTW, they don't have FA Butter.

If you go through several cycles of sanding and mineral spirits you can liven it up. Some 2 part epoxy will really make it shine.

Oh Lordy, I’m slacking! Lol!

From Chefs? @Heartsdelight is correct about Custard Premium. Totally 100% worth every penny. Chefs also has the hugest stock of one shots out there. Easy peasy mixing, especially if you’re short on time.

I’m trying to think here.....I get all sorts of stuff on Chefs, but nothing stands out to me right now, besides CP. And Corn.....of course. Sorry....not helpful at all.:(

I’ll take a look at my stash and see if anything jumps out at me!

LOL you're not slacking. I appreciate the response. I'll stick to Custard Prem and Corn and get it coming my way. And thank you to you and all the other mixers here; fantastic resource for someone starting out.

I checked my list and Cupcake World (CCW) Chefs repackages it & it goes under the name of Chef’s Choice. Devon Cream.

Here’s one that @wildgypsy70 is raving about but BCF doesn’t have yet. BCF said they will order though.
https://chefsflavours.co.uk/palm-coconut-molinberry/

I got these bottles & I love the flat flask shape. I can’t find them in the USA. They also come in 120ml size. Can’t beat the price too.

Hope this helps ;)

What the hell is wrong with USPS. This was shipped from PA and I'm in MD

Seems par for the course. A while back I ordered something from 8 Vape in Las Vegas. It went out to the northwest coast, Portland to be exact. I'm nowhere near Portland nor the west coast lol. USPS is the role model for inefficiency.

Hard to beat the pricing at ejuices.com. They had (or have) a 35% discount going on and I got these 300 mls for $20.75. The "Strawburied" box even came with a small packet of Cotton Bacon Bits. I had a good experience with the "Hustle" brand from the last batch I ordered.
I also like how they have the website set up so you can also search by bottle size. 60 mls is about the limit for good taste from the Atlantis-style coils I use. The 60 ml "one bottle/one coil" method also keeps me from trying to chug through a 100 ml bottle on one coil. (hack....*cough*....%inward burp%....fart) derp

Clicked to order Thursday night (9/26)
Arrived today, Monday (9/30)

(edited for ml amount)

oooohhh I just found out I can use only one battery in that dual mech box mod I got from Chef. I probably never would use only one but it's nice to have options. Are all the box mech mods like this? It's my first one so I don't know.
