*chuckling* Not that I was trying to win anything. Yes, Malcom Young could lay down such a steady humming bass for his brother Angus to go rip it with the blues rhythm. Angus it's said since about age four or five has seemingly constantly got a guitar in hands, falls to sleep strumming chords, riffs, wakes up and carries on right where he dropped of at.
What is a shame is it seems 2018 was their last year producing. Their drummer was I think jailed for threatening to kill someone over a side project he was doing but it still could have helped and influenced AC/DC, not hurt them. He was pissed somebody didn't seem want to pay him. Brain Johnson has gone deaf from touring, working in studio and his docs kiboshed him from doing that anymore. Malcom if I recall had a stroke on stage while playing, then a heart attack or heart issues took him. They got one of their nephew's to come play bass for them.
He sounds as good as Malcom, but admittedly has just a small touch of his own style which is fine too. Think they tried a concert using Axel Rose as vocals, most if not all tickets had to be refunded. Axel is fine for Velvet Revolver, Guns N Roses ... AC/DC he ain't and never could even dream to be, even if Queen invites him to do Freddie Mercury covers. Besides Axel has vocal troubles if I recall correctly.
So yeah, think 2018 just might be the last year AC/DC, at least anything near the original ... stops producing. Damn though, 40 years of hard rock and yes 40 years touring and going like mad like depicted in that video. They'd move from one end of Australia in a night just to play some two bit bar when they first started, turn around go back the other end right after playing there. They kept that same schedule going too. Studios would have to trail along and set up make shift "shops" to get them doing studio recording, or just wait in line.
We got to pass AC/DC on to the next generation though, and the one after that, and the next one, and ...
Why? Because; "Playing in a 92 decibel band/ And the music it was good and it was loud/ The singer he turned to the crowd and sang out Let There Be Rock, and there was ....♪♫♬"
Careful with that pack there.
Ah, the kind of chick I'd take home too see mom, weather or not she was swinging something twixt her legs. *chuckles*
You just know Reznor hurt, too.
