I almost got on that list but decided I didn't need one. They look great but when does a Dvarw stop being a Dvarw?

Sent from the Death Star
I'm with the old school to K.I.S.S. tanks and the Dvarw works very well as is for me. It seems the after market folks jumped on the Dvarw's waggon trying to cash in on a trend.

Not a problem. I'm actually working with SXK to produce a new adapter for their bridge that actually fits the Drizzle coils. Shocked they're actually listening.
I'll keep you and everyone else updated on those here.

Do the drizzle coils fit into the base - bottom part of the SXK (EuC) clone , I know you said top part they don't being coil to wide,
Just a thought i had since signature tips has a bridge that fits over top of coil

The bottom portion is the problem. It's too narrow for the EUCs to fit.

Also, even thought the SXK coils are very good with regards to flavor and vapor production, they leak.

When you screw down the 510 nut the pin on the bottom of the coil compresses the o-ring and it allows juice to escape into the mod. So thus far, it's a strong no go.

Ah ok, thanks
hopefully July the new coils come out , 1.0-Ohm 10-14w ceramic EUC(CCELL)
And the
0.6ohm 16-22w EUC mesh coil with tea fiber
with release of VM tank -18mm 22mm 25mm, options
So the 1.0ohm might be usable with signature tips bridge looks same dimensions to the reg EUC coils,

I Just wanted to find a cheap option to try drizzle 1.3 ohm coils, hopefully SXK do an update fix for there bridge, would benefit them in sales if did,

Wonder if you could pull out the posative connection plug to make EUC reg size ?,

TBH thinking about it
if only using EUC CCELL coils in BB being lazy ,
It might be better just buying VM tank ,

What are your go to MTL set ups for the BB?

I normally use 0.5 EUCs or super tank coils in mine. Never really explored the MTL side.

Hey guys, any idea where to look for the Taifun GTR stateside? I've checked Stratum, Vapinart, Origin Vape, Vapor DNA. Even Vapes by Enushi doesn't have it yet.

Smokerstore isn't taking PayPal right now. Otherwise I'd order direct from them.

Dude! That's really nice, I'm calling dibs:vino
We shall see... I really like how you can go from restricted lung to MTL with changing any inserts.
It has two seperate air channels (1mm & 1.2mm) that can be used in tandem or seperately. They even come in at an angle so they both hit the coil directly. Pretty cool design.

So... I am teaching myself AutoCAD.

Yup...so far a few hours in and I can do semi decent 3d renderings...

I need to learn what all the functions are... but I figured if I repeat the tutorials enough (On building intricate shapes etc) those functions will becomes second nature... 10,000 hours minimum to master something LOL... and I am so far .08% in to that 10,000 hours hahaha

upload_2019-6-27_17-36-38.png

Working on this lil thing... its a lanyard hole delete for the PM2 from Spyderco...

its essentially this part...

upload_2019-6-27_17-37-51.png

which is hollow... but the one I am whipping up is solid...

Also measuring up where within the hole shown, one could screw the clip directly to that... granted you wont be able to use the factory clip as shown... but a single screw with a alignment hole pin to keep it from spinning...

I need to add to the above cad a slim 1mm flat that will have a pin that fall into one of the screw slots of the liners... to keep the whole thing from rotating... I'll figure out how to add that... there is some stitch function probably lol

Anyhoo... in enough practice... maybe ill fuck with making a mod or atty ;) ...DREAMS! ;)

And yes... I'll name my first mod the gooberbutternut and whip up a cartoon picture of Raphael as the backdrop of the mod LOL (#GBN)

this is what the inside of the liner looks like and the lanyard tube...

upload_2019-6-27_17-45-46.png

I need to add on the edge that is flat to the metal liner a 1mm thick flat extension that has a pin to fit into one of the liner holes as shown... this feature will allow me to then create a screw hole on the solid face (Not hollow like those ) where a new clip can be installed with a single screw and finder pin hole.

HAHA...

Never... I don't think I'd ever do it to the point of making it a business... side gig maybe.

You think atties like the ESG Skyfall/Skyline/NarMods are in limited availability?

I'll make 12-36 a year max... and sell them for cost + beer money+ Shipping...

Much easier to design a Regulated mod than it would be to get the AF right on a MTL atty...

Learning CAD more for the knife design and accessory market than the vape industry... but for sure the first thing I design will be a mod.

Yeah that's always a problem. When I was in college I got many different autocad programs from those torrent(?) Websites. Kinda like limewire was for music.

At work we switched from AutoCAD to solidworks about 4 years ago. It's so much easier to do 3D model and drawings. If you're just doing 2D, then AutoCAD would be fine.

Well with Autocad you can go to autodesk and download 2016-2020 free- no restrictions on students... it’s similar to Amazon Prime Student...just provide an edu. Email.

Which registering for any college you automatically get an edu email.

And prime student is way cheaper than regular prime

4 years go by and they ask to confirm the email...you can do that or just register at your local college again and change your name from Donovan...to Don

But I will give the other program a looksee, really wanting to learn it all and get proficient and start with CNC or outsourcing the designs to be made.

Lol nice! There's some tutorials on there somewhere that aren't too bad.

Idk how to use Camworks. All I know is it uses the 3d models and writes the CNC program for you. We use it for our Mills.

The rest of this weekend is fairly booked for me to delve into the program... I took a quick look this morning and looks less daunting than looking at the ribbons of autocad.

Baby sis and family arrive today late...and we have to stock the fridge for four kids ages 11-17

PIZZA!!!!

No no... my sis is a health nut more so than the wife.

Mostly Fruits and Veggies and of course grill meats...

One thing they asked for were my famous hamburgers though... 70/30 with Rib Eye grind added... 2.5oz loose patties... then fire up the grill... put the flat iron plate down... get the grill as humanly hot as possible...get a wicked sear then use my salt/pepper/garlic powder/chili seasoning... drop the cheese topped with 2 slices of bacon on a Brioche bun that was lightly toasted with honey/apple butter

I do thinner patties for they are cooked almost instantly and can serve them super fast... just have to get the grill so damn hot to where you are searing correctly and not boiling the hamburger, which any sane person knows turns great burgers into rubber

We have out of towers comin too, but I took the easy way out and fired up the smoker. Ribs are already done, I'm just kicking back "cooking" and sipping a cold Old Rasputin beer. Cooking is hard work!

I got the grilled, well... smoked meat covered. Does blueberry beer and blackberry moonshine count for the fruits part? Mashed taters be as far as I go for veggies, a tomato salad once in a while too.

I haven't made a vape related purchase in a week. Yes, I'm just as shocked as everyone else.

Although I'm waiting on a FT order and the Taifun GTR to be delivered...
And I have a bunch offlavors in my cart at Nic River...
And a cart full at FT...
And I want to get in on a waffle for a NRC Titan...

DC has always been a fragmented mess what they need to do is scrap all of it and start with a master plan. Have an end story in mind and build around that.
Problem is that they have success with a couple characters and want to hang on to that so they keep putting out clunkers to support the good ones, ie Batman, WW, and Aquaman.

Even if I had the money I wouldn't buy one. Two big selling points of a BB are the durability and low maintenance. This defeats that purpose... it's fragile and requires too much care.
They can crack or warp if kept too dry and will break if dropped.

Sipping on a Dogfish Head 120 Minute enjoying the evening. For an IPA this thing is caramel-y as hell!
I figured a nice fruit vape would go really well as is usually the case with IPAs, but turns out my DIY RY4 is right on the money. Go figure!

Thay being said, the Taifun GTR arrived today and although I haven't found my preferred build yet this thing is MTL at its finest. I'm running it full open (1.2 and 1.0mm airflows) with a 2.5mm, 32/38 Ni80 fused clapton, 1.21 ohms and it's TIGHT.
I could see how you could get a crazy restricted lung hit off of it but I wouldn't want to. Easy build, great flavor, top fill, durable tank section (PSU?), and smooth airflow.
Going to try a 2mm 29g Ni80 build next to see if I get a little bit of a cooler vape.

Running it at 13.5 watts on the Kafir Mods Illusia SX350J. Just need to find a nice Turkish walnut DT to match. Any ideas from the hive mind on where to get one?
