thanks man. just watched a video on that. seems easy enough. but man what a business idea a rebuildable pod would be.

This is kind of an old thread, but I've been hoping to find a rebuildable (as in it's designed to be rebuilt) pod system also

I'd love a better option for stealth vaping but don't feel like getting stuck having to buy coils or pods when they burn out or back to the bad old days when we were rebuilding cartos, lol

thanks for bumping this thread juicyLucy.
yeah i love the pod systems but the expense of buying pods/coils keeps me from using them as much as i'd like. still using my clunky boxes with RTA/RDTAs mostly
i did finally order a minifit so if those are easy enough to rebuild i can be happy for now.
i do hope (and kinda expect) companies to eventually release rebuildable pods. i mean every other type of thing you could ever imagine with vaping eventually gets made, so why not a rebuildable pod, ya know?

I got a demon killer tiny kit in the mail. Mod is about the size of a zippo lighter and the smallest rda i've ever seen but more of a DL. The mod the batteries were doa but I didn't pay for it they just sent it to me for free. Comes with a squonk pin and a bunch of .66 ohm coils.

thanks for that video. it was in english btw

to anyone who has rebuilt a minifit pod: do we need NR-R-NR wires, or do you think just regular resistance wire would be ok? i dont want to melt anything
i think i still have some NR-R-NR wires from my clearomizer rebuilding days.... but theyre buried in my heap of old vape stuff lol

Wow, that guy was good. I build all sorts of things, but I'm not sure that's worth it, especially since I don't have a minifit, lol. However, I really enjoyed watching that. Reminds me a bit of rebuilding my byLeo Sophia coils/wicks and feeding the nr-r-nr wires down into the cup. Great flavor but a bit of work.

Definitely reminded me of rebuilding cartos

Kinda weird - Vapefly says recommended ohm is between .8 and 1.5 but it comes with .5 coil

But with that said, I might try it once it goes off of pre-sale

Will need more research, the DIY version says it's a dripper - which is a no go on my end

yeah that is weird. but it also says 2ml, and it looks like a tank. i think the dripper thing is a mis-type or some kinda lost-in-translation type of situation.

thanks for the input tyvape

I bought that tiny Demon Killer vape from Fasttech. It didn't come with coils but I had some small enough. It's a great little device if you want tiny and rebuildable.

I have one, it puts out way too much cloud for stealth vaping, lol

I know what you mean. I was amazed at the clouds that tiny vape produces.

I have been using it for over a year as a dedicated CBD squonker, lol

Does CBD really help? Can I put it in a regular squonk?

Yes on the squonk

Does it really help? It does for me, but it is a very complex question as there are so many variables with the different products and what results you expect for what types of maladies

good to know about the clouds on that vape. thats unfortunately a deal-breaker for me. but, would it matter if i went high PG, think that would offer a stealth exhale?

also, what brand of CBD do you buy? ive been wanting to buy some but i keep hearing reports that some companies have much less CBD then advertised or no CBD at all.

Wait! The demonkiller Tiny is a squonk!?!?!??!?! Mine is in the mail from fasttech now. That changes everything! I bought an orion go and that to take to Europe with me so I didn't have to carry 5 batteries, a charger, and everything else.

It's not the most flavorful attie, but it is tiny and puts out for something so small

I'm sure I can live with it for 10 days and maybe try and work up a micro coil that puts out a bit more flavor.

I love the thing and was astounded by what it can do

Take some spare pods with you for that Orion ... they don't last long, at least they didn't for me. I liked the device but couldn't see having to replace the pod every couple of days even with the lightly flavored juices that I tend to use.

I might have to check out that Demon Killer.

That looks interesting ... I might wait on a few reviews though, good find!

I am seeing people using pods upwards of 1 month. I will figure it out though. I've also seen people rebuild them. I mean if I can get a couple of weeks out of a pod and have it cost me $4 I don't have a problem with that at all.

Didn't see it mentioned here but apparently there is another rebuild-able pod system ... Exilis Xpod Rebuildable Pod by Snowwolf

I do hope you have better results with it than I did. I liked it's form factor and everything, it was the pod portion that was the weak link for me.

Hmm, did they change the pod in some way? They used to be sealed pretty solid, didn't appear to be a decent way to even try to rebuild them but I suppose where there's a will there's a way, lol.

I wondered about that wording too but I'm thinking they just misused it ... here is another video showing the RBA portion in a little more detail.

I mean for the price, it seems like a bit too much work, but with that being said, when one of the pods dies you can bet I'm going to give it a whirl.

Oh that's right, now I remember that video. Yeah, it seemed like too much trouble for me to bother with plus I heard they tended to leak afterwards. I was hoping, and maybe they will at some point, offer a pod that's more accessible or has a rebuild-able option but in the meantime, I moved on. These days I just want simple and easy, lol.

100% agree. I highly doubt I will ever use this as a daily driver, but for situations like going away for a while, for a weekend, taking a puff at my desk at work, in the bathroom at an airport in the middle of a layover on a 10hr flight :giggle:, I think it will suit my purposes quite well. I'm hoping that demonkiller tiny is as great as Lucy says. Between those 2 I think my stealth/travel needs will be covered. As the pods are breaking in on this Orion, the flavor is getting quite good.

Oh, do tell - how is the performance and how many times have you built on it???
I have used the 0.8 coil and for a pod it has decent flavor. I have not tried the mtl coil a I can't mtl. I built two rbas and did not like them, so I tried again. One at approx. .06 ohm 28 ga 316L., the other at 0.4 ohm 28*2/40g clapton. Didn't like either, not enough airflow.
Drilled out both center posts and I'm in love with the pasito.
