May have saved someone some dough, a PM may not have done that, so I disagree. Due diligence by the OP would have avoided my post, when I've sold a new item I've researched what it's selling for first.

Not wanting to muddy up the thread but the buyers dictate the market. If someone buys something for way higher cost in a brick and mortar and then tries to sell for what they initially paid and nobody is interested because the price is higher than they can buy new. At that point when there is no interest the seller will either give up or adjust the prices to move the item is my take on the matter. Most buyers here are aware of values and do their own research. I know I do.
