Not a big expense. I Keep about 400-500 ml of Cromwells custard made at all times and have over 60 ml of Cromwells Camel made.
Costs me around $2 or less to make 120 ml.
Just need to know an address and how strong you want the nic.

You would actually be the first I have sent my galaxy wide famous juice to.
Have piffed out vape gear and flavorings but no made juice.

Wow, PM incoming! You rock!

It is for me a sensitivity to the nic. I do not want to step on the OP's thread so I will try to be brief. I have and use a og noisy cricket often. I have an avid lyfe tube. Regulated devices up to 300 watts with the right batteries. Rda's, rta's, and subohm tanks. I diy and do simple coil builds, paralell, twisted, and round. I have coils from zephyr also. I am capable to provide myself about any vape option. I am just sensitive to nic. I love vaping of all types and styles. I am getting better at diy and have a couple of imo very good recipies. I use Nude 100mg nic in pg. I have been blessed with several juices from pif and trades, also have a buddy that workes at a b&m. So I have access to many brands and flavors. So my options are wide open and I have been enjoying my vape going on 2 years now. I learned so much here at VU I am gteatfull to all for being part of this amazing forum. All being said I can not change the fact that I am sensitive to nic. Wish it was not true but it is the only possibility. I can tank a couple juices at 6 but not many. I can pod vape nic salt at 30 if I push to tolerate coughing violently for the first 10-15 pulls. Slowly my throat will "break in" and I can then pull somewhat comfortably. The next day my throat is painful and I need to start over. I can vape 3 comfortably all the time. So back to the patch idea. What does everyone think? Ideas, concerns, recomendations? Please. Peace and love to all. Sorry so long. Frustrated and need to put the smokes down completely. Thank you.
Yes I have this same problem about nic sensitivity also, but maybe not that severely. I never could vape anything stronger than 5mg. That is, excepting on a clearomizer/tank by sucking on it so hard that I remember thinking I might as well be breathing just air instead of vapor, like drinking coffee that's been diluted with 99% tap water. Sucking on it a bit less hard was not possible for me to do because then I would cough immediately as soon as I tried to inhale.

So to get my nic fix I had to dilute 6mg by using a separate bottle of 0mg (of the same or similar flavor) to drip my RDA by counting drops from each bottle for my first few vaping months. For the first 5-10 pulls in the morning, the exhale would feel like my throat and the uppermost part of my repiratory tract were getting sandblasted, so to fix that problem I had to drip a few drops of 0mg directly onto the coils or else there would be blood. (No joke.) Also to get my nic fix, I had to frequently chain vape like a nutcase so when the weather got cold outside I could then just wrap my fingers around my Wotofo 25mm Troll RDA 2 to warm my hands (there's pros and cons to everything... this was definitely one of the pros...). But getting my nic fix wasn't my only problem, as I had to frequently continue to chain vape beyond that point so I would get nic sick as a result. The solution that worked was to 1/ just vape normally more frequently beforehand instead of waiting for the next chain vaping frenzy attack to happen, and to 2/ just temporarily lower the nic strength on time, by counting more drops of 0mg. That's why I was always carrying two separate juice bottles until finally, after 15 or so weeks, I was able to switch to 3mg. I never was a dual user.

Further, I find that high VG juices ranging in between 70/30 and 80/20 tend to be a lot easier on my throat so I'm a bit sensitive to PG harshness in addition to being fairly nic sensitive. A lot of people assume the reason why I vape at high wattages is because I like a hot vape and because I like to watch huge clouds. But the opposite holds true. A hot vape simply destroys my mouth and throat, and big clouds are nothing more than an annoying byproduct caused by the fact I need my vape to be wet, dense, and saturated because else I can't get my nic fix without destroying my throat. In addition, anything too far below 90 watts is what I call an anemic vape that's lacking any kind of punch. Despite this, I can't stand coil types that add more than just a very small amount of throat hit so braided coil builds, for example, are not for me. Also, if there's even a single fiber of the cotton touching the outside of a coil, it's already making me cough. If the airflow isn't providing direct cooling uniformly enough onto the whole surface of the coils, then the same thing happens... to me it just feels as though some moron at the local vape shop forgot to work out the coils' hot spots during the install. (He gives me coils for free, but he only gives them for free if I let him mount them the way he wants to, which always makes me cough and then the moron blames that on the juice.)

DTL to me is a cooler more robust & fulfilling vape. Don't rule it out until you've tried it.
That's EXACTLY what I've been trying to say for the past 2 years. Which immediately explains why I've been used for a pissing pole by the low wattage police in just about every discussion thread that even barely touches this particular subject, and probably also explains why a lot of high wattage vapers don't even bother to post anything, as there's more interesting things to do in life than to get covered in vitriol all the time.

Just wanted to say that I've felt bad for lashing out at you like I did after your first post in this thread. It honestly didn't bother me too much that you joined this conversation by adamantly harping on about the virtues of DTL. I'll admit, I have little experience and am ignorant on that particular subject. What REALLY pissed me off at the time was how you ended by directly questioning my effort to succeed at this personal vape/quit cigs dilemma I'm going through -- and practically called me a liar. Believe me, I am trying. Anyway, Carambrda, I totally overreacted to your words and I apologize for it. You also deserve kudos for your latest reply to Bigrick at #106. I'm sure it took a lot of time & thought to write all that out in a sincere attempt to help him. I genuinely appreciate your contribution here and I bet he does too.

With more open airflow, looser MTL, and, yes, even restricted DTL attempts (limited by my gear) ... it's getting a little bit easier for me every day. This is definitely not the type of enjoyable, natural or comfortable experience I was looking for. It's a lot of work and if I don't concentrate and inhale just perfectly now, I bust out in coughing fits which I'd never done before. But at least my mouth problems haven't been quite so bad lately.

What gear and juice specs are you using for this loose MTL/restrcted DTL?
Just don't pull hard enough to cough and vape more if needed because of it. As you get used to it you'll be able to increase to a more satisfying vape.

I cough with MTL ...DTL is a more enjoyable vape experience for me as well cat if that helps ....worth looking into at least, just maybe ease in if you try it rather than go for a fog monster

Something like the smok baby beast X4 coils don’t require huge wattages and have a tighter draw

The only things with adjustable airflow I have here now are two Nautilus AIO's, two GeekVape Flints, and a Nautilus 2s on Aspire Zelos mod. Even wide open, they're still basically MTL devices. I haven't been using any of my other simple cigalikes or basic pod devices or Nautilus Mini because I broke its glass tank and had to order another one.

I've been alternating between several different juices since Saturday night. Mostly it's been either tobaccos or custards like Halo Tribeca and Nkd100 American Patriots (each of those is 50/50 in 35mg salt nic), Ripe Vapes VCT in 3% salts, VCT Bold @ 12mg regular 75vg/25pg, Halo Turkish 18mg which I think is something like 70pg/30vg, and 12 mg Vapetasia Killer Kustard & Royalty II 70vg/30pg. I've got many more brands & flavors on hand.

I'll eventually get the hang of something comfortable & satisfying for me. I'm working at it but it sure ain't easy!

Thank you all!!!

OK, you’re working with…
Nautilus AIO's, two GeekVape Flints, and a Nautilus 2s on Aspire Zelos mod.
…and since…

..perhaps a wider bore drip tip would help. It would keep the vapor from being so concentrated/localized to a spot in the mouth. I see the 2 kits you PIF’d were MTL w/small tips as well, and you have nothing with a wider bore tip, which goes with DTL > even if restricted. I know N2S has somewhat DTL function, but the tip is still narrow. If what you’re doing now doesn’t seem like it’s panning out, or as you get used to the new way to vape, it doesn’t give you..
the type of enjoyable, natural or comfortable experience
..could try the Zelos/2S w/ .4 - .7 BVC coil in the 2S with a wider bore tip that fits 510, like…
WB510.png
Or a diff tank on Zelos, like HellVape Hell Beast Hybrid that’s does DTL or MTL and uses it’s own coils as well as from at least 3 other manufacturers including BVC, Smok, Vaporesso.

You can't imagine how truly appreciative I am to have you (and other VU'ers) going out of your way to share your experience & insightful suggestions for me. It's all pretty damn amazing!

At least for a little while, I really need to reign in my spending and stick with what I have, but I can probably at least afford to order some new coils & drip tips now. I've recently shelled out a bunch on my property taxes, home & auto insurance, and know I'll be owing IRS this year. Plus the vet clinic will be taking in a larger than normal haul from me over the next couple of months. Just had two of my little rescues, CaliGirl and Gypsy, in for their spay surgeries yesterday. Along with my regular herd of cats, I also have a younger litter of 4 kittens (Gidget, Gadget, Gilda, Groucho) inside with me plus a little feral outside I can maybe catch who will all be needing their spays/neuters soon. My tiny pension, social security, and savings are stretched to the limit. I'm sure counting on saving $ by not buying as many Marlboros, hopefully none in the near future!

Really just wanted to log on and publicly give my sincere thanks to The Cromwell. It took a while, but his generous gift unexpectedly showed up here early last week and, man, it's GOOD STUFF!!! I've gone through a couple of pods each and am really enjoying it. Cromwell's Turkish reminds me of a full-flavored cigarette, only much better, and Cromwell's Custard rivals any of the other VCT's & custards I've tried.

Wish I could come back to VU by announcing that I've truly become an "ex-smoker" but it's been an awful struggle these past few months. Honestly, I've smoked a lot more than I've vaped -- but I haven't given up trying.

Anyway, THANK YOU CROMWELL! You're a helluva good juice maker and a good man.

Peace & purrs,
Jim

If you sincerely want to quit and are working towards that goal you will succeed. Just as for many of us, it took years and many attempts to finally become and X-Smoker. Good Luck~!

The struggle is real. Many have been able to kick it straight away, and others like yourself and me struggle with it on a daily basis. One thing is for sure. I have not yet witnessed any act of discouragement here at VU. Most of the members understand the struggle all too well. They encourage rather than judge. I'm still full on into the battle with kicking the stinkies but I'm not willing to give up. Just participating in this forum continues to keep me in the fight. Don't give up.

It happens when it happens. Only count the cigs you didn't smoke not the ones you did. Seeing that number going up daily or weekly will keep you going. We'll be here for you! I'm looking forward to celebrating your quit day!

Hey there. Unfortunately I have no experience with irritation in my mouth from vaping. I can guess that it might be the metals you use in your coils or maybe the wicking material? I highly suggest finding an mtl style rta and working out what sorts of coils or wick you can handle with a liquid that you trust. Just my unprofessional advice:)

Also, I have a cat:) his name is maximilian. He is black and white (mostly black) but in the sunlight he seems to have spots and stripes of brown hair as well. Lol he must have realized I was talking about him as he just came over to take a nap on my lap.

Anyways, enjoy your time here. Best wishes with your fight against cigarettes!

Welcome @cathouse and I hope you enjoy you stay~!

When I first quit smoking which was Cold Turkey because cutting down didn't work for me I know that vaping irritated my throat and made me cough for the first few weeks. It is the lack of all those other chemicals that numb your airways and I have heard the same from people trying to quit and start vaping. Now I am not a Doctor and don't play one on the Internet this is just my personal experience. Give it time and Good Luck
My wife is a 2 pack a day menthol smoker. My vape even running a cool build at low watts makes her cough 90% of the time. Imo it is bcuz she still smokes. I know when i was just comming off cigs vaping tore me up. But that subsided within a month. Now cigs r harsh. Even the same roll my own i was on for years and years.
Just stick with itn let your system make the change over. And find your vaping preferences. Dont be afraid to try different coils/build and wattage settings. Youl find YOUR way and smoking will bcome discusting.
But if you any questions you are in the rite place to ask. As we are here and happy to help.
