I never have.
I just checked my oldest one and while it can be wet when I open it, nothing dripping like that. I've been working on three for the last couple months. 2 for somebody else. I don't know.

I just got 2 new ones though, so I'll keep an eye on em, but this has been the most trouble free single product I have.

Alright alright alright. There's hope! Just checked the tracking and my Lotus was processed through customs in Chicago around 9pm Saturday. Expected delivery is Wednesday, which is odd because I live in the NW burbs of the chicagoland area so my Lotus is literally 30 miles from me right now. Hoping that delivery gets pushed up.

Did a 3mm FC Clapton 3x30/38 as many wraps as I could fit .23 dual. Wick w/Cotn threads. Thin and paint tails to work into channels. No leaks, lots of bubbles. Chewing through the juice at 60 watt. Jury out till the cotn breaks in. Not the prettiest of builds but critique is welcome.

Might pull the coils out a little more to get more centered over AF slots. But IDK.
Looks good man - thanks

Was thinking the same. No coily tool and I think I clipped em a little short. Kinda need to go over and up a bit maybe.....

My preference is 2.5 with about as much space between the coils and the airflow on the sides as there is between the coils themselves in the middle.

Actually I might have 4mm legs on my 2.5 build. I can't remember for sure now.

You need THIS

I got mine from him in a few days with 5 good Japanese cotton pads to boot.

I kept checking it thinking I was going to short it on the bell. Then I thought the deck seemed crowded. Then I had too much cotton....2.5 prolly better all around.

It's tight, but that's one of the places the flavor comes from. I actually also prefer the flavor with 2.5s. I just now hit it :) mmm mmm good.

Glad you mentioned this. I'll have mine later this week so when I make coils for it I'll try to remember to use the 2.5mm bit instead of the 3mm bit I usually use.
Its' not like it's not still good, but I like a 2.5 in it better.

One other thing to mention again is that the 510 connector on this tank is long. I don't know what their thing is with that, but it is. Something to be aware of. The VK530 also has a fairly shallow 510, so between the two of them, this nifty ultem mod guard that came with my DS I think it was, works out beautifully. Though a thinner one from Kidney Puncher works too.

Ya, now he mentions it. I ask about favorite build and I get like...oh whatever you normally like..:blah:
Sorry. I've just never had a bad vape from this tank and I didn't want to complicate things.

Honestly I thought the titanium build in my first one was 3mm. Turns out it's 2.5

Uhg, USPS fucking up again. Yesterday they were saying my lotus would be delivered Wednesday and now it says invalid tracking number. :gaah:

USPS tracking has been deplorable lately, but make sure you don't have a space at the beginning of the number when you copy and paste it.

2.5 guys.

I just put a 2.5 in the gunmetal and for me, at least, that's the ticket. Man, all this time I thought I had a 3 in that first one.

I only rewick it like once a month though, so I must not have been paying attention. I've that build in there for a few months.

My gym owner has 2 that I work on all the time and both his are 2.5, but I never really did much except rewick them and get em started. The cotton is always too new to tell when I give it back.

My other one's are the one's I'm talking about now. I hope I'm making sense. I'm on my way out the doer LOL

Yeah the tracking was good so it was a glitch by USPS. Later yesterday afternoon it updated and should be waiting for me when I get home from work today. The saga will finally come to an end! :teehee:

Although I don't know boys. I played with the placement a little and rewicked it and this 3mm build is pretty awesome too.

I looked at the deck and it looks like my 3mm framed staples will fit just fine but my 3mm 26/36 tri-core Clapton's would be too tight.
It vapes best for me when there's a little breathing room between the airlow and the coils. Use common sense when wicking it. If you thin it too much, like anything it'll probably leak. I also like it dipping into the well just a hair.

Definitely be sure to remember to wet the wicks before putting them into the channels..
