Very sorry to hear about your Dad :( That war was the most complicated, misunderstood and poorly handled in American history at least. Your father has my gratitude, respect and salute.
Thanks he would have enjoyed that comment..... He took part in the Tet offensive.....

He had a hard time coping with the suffering he saw..... And passed away from diabetes and heavy alcohol consumption.......

It was tough for everyone, specially him .....

Tet 68 is a huge topic all by itself. Never turn your back on your enemy.
I had 2 uncles and have a bunch of friends who were over there and my best friend in the world carried an M-60 in the infantry when he was 19. He won a bronze star, but a mortar round and a purple heart sent him home early.

He didn't too well for a long time after he got back either.

My dad was an MP he was stationed in the US consulate and lost (4) of his buddies in one day when the Vietcong tried to take over the embassy......

Yeah every conflict hurts the warriors and the families for their entire lives, it's a life changing sacrifice........

That was a very famous (infamous) move. There's television footage of that day. Westmoreland was there as I recall.

He told us of how caotic it was, and destruction of documents and weapons.... And how they made him burn everything in the consulate followed by days chopping trees for helicopter landings and evacuations of everyone .....

He spoke of the smell of burning, everything smelled like burning tires to him his entire life..... Even during a barbecue he would start talking about doesn't that smell like a burning tire...... My mom thought me how not to say much or ask anything to get him started.....

Yeah man thanks for letting me think about him .... He was a good guy.....at least with me .....

What's your opinion of the Wasp RTA?
So far I like it.
I have an SS Clapton 4 wraps and 3mm ID at 0.24 ohms, I think I need to try a smaller ID. The 3mm is a tight fit and it's restricting the air flow a bit, it's a slightly restricted MTL with the air flow wide open.

American Made Special Edition Black Chrome version with matching number RDA sleeve.
998 of 999 made.

I picked up an authentic Roughneck RDA and a silver contact pin to complete it. This thing really hits hard!

And I decided to go against the flow going back to my smaller mods.
As I’ve decided to sell everything except the beater mods/attys.

Yeah... I stopped using big and went small too ....

But having something big is always good for emergency or long trips ..... Or zombie apocalyptic times.....

This is a 26650 mod I'm having built..... Very small and perfect for a small tank or RDA.......
