V-Sticking VK530 YiHi Mod. J-Graffiti Silver. Thread.

Hi'ya vapers
I want to find all who have the V-sticking VK530 Mod, and share settings and experiences here.
I have just bought that mod and it would be interesting to know your settings and what you think about the mod.
I think it's the best mod I have tested.
So tell your stories about everything about this wonderful mod.
And if you have issues and problems getting it to work properly so maybe we can be helpful and get things going as it should.
So questions is welcome.
Hope we get many interested.
And....KEEP ON VAPING

well I just happen to have the v-sticking silver-deity in my hand and have had the mod since august when they first came out :) On top of it is a juggerknot RTA running 2 claptons (28*3-40 ) ssl316 @ 0.20....I vape temp control so it is set @ 405F. It has been set this way since I first received it and never wavers..I dont even think I have had to re-lock in ohm settings, like I have to do with my other YiHi mods. This mod has been rock solid, no buttons sticking or rattles door still locking solid. No problems with software or loading my own screens, except when I first got it the battery charging screen was messed up, but cured with latest update on hardware, and yes I know I shouldn't have been charging batteries in mod :p I think this is a really underrated mod for the price!!! I was even thinking of grabbing the all black one as well!
It has been so steady that I even have forgotten how to use settings menu lmao for posting in this thread, and just for reference I have several DNA250c mods and 2 YiHi 520's and I know their their menus :p

Should also mention that there is an Ipv4 ( I think ) version of this mod that is all plastic, that I wouldn't recommend, I was not impressed with build quality....
Welcome whisky btw!!!

I have one as of a month ago, I like it a lot. I use it in powerful plus at 80w with a dual coil rda or at 500deg, 60j with a single coil.

Not sure exactly what other settings you’re asking about. I also find it quite ergonomical, and easy to use,

Hi bioware thanks for the welcome.
Nice to hear from you.
Yes I also think that its underrated, it's a great mod.
I play around with the settings a lot and I've got it to function like a dream now.
You really since the taste changing when trying out other settings.
Its really steady, no problems yet at all.
I try to always charge the batteries in a real recharger and not in the mod.
Just love all of the designs, I got the j-graffiti silver , and yes the black one is really nice.
Was thinking of the black one or this brownish when purchasing it.
In top I have the SMOK TFV 12 PRINCE tank in gold, it came with 3 different coil heads.
I change around sometimes to try them out.
I bought the 8ml glass tank to get more juice in, good to have when out all day and so.
I haven't tried changing the background pics yet but I'm on to it soon.
Thought I do a own personal cool logo with the vape and my name, or something like that, would be cool.
I dont rely get how the temp control works and how and where to set it.
My English isn't perfect (im Swedish) and some things in the menu I don't really understand 100 %.
If u or someone could explain what the "setting TCR" and "compensate Temp" really means .
And the Joule setting? I've seen watt, temp and ohm always, but joule I dont really get what it stands for and how it works.
But when I'm changing the settings, I set the joule so I get the same volt as in watt, dont know if it is the right thing to do ?
So if u know about that I really need some help.
Thanks for the heads up for the ipv4, good to know.
I'm thinking of buying a new atomizer, I've heard something about a one with ceramic plates, or something. Haven't really looked it up yet, but its interesting for sure.
Well that's it for now.. was really nice to hear from you and let's keep in touch here.
You have the best weekend and VAPE ON my friend ✌

Joule is the measurement of energy.
Energy = Power x Time
J=WT
Or
J= (V x I) T
Basically it’s Watts multiplied by time. I really just think of it as when it comes to these mods. It’s not exact, but close enough for our purposes. Especially when you consider that you’re setting your mod for performance not a dWad on number.

Hi y'all Vapers out there in our beautiful planet...

Tcr Temperature coefficient of resistance, that’s the number that indicates the rate at which a metals resistance changes with heat, it’s how tc actually works.
If you’re using standard wire that has a mode preprogrammed you don’t need to bother with it

The temp comp I’ve not set, that’s primarily if you’re dealing with large temperature swings in your environment

Not to be unappreciative at all, but I actually put together a package with tutorials which can be found HERE which has all the files for the upgrade and step by step instructions for how to do it and how to upload wallpaper .
Awesomeness!
Thank you!

No trouble at all :) It was a real adventure there for a while.
Right? I had fun figuring it out, I should have taken notes, but alas...
I needs to learn not to trust my memory as I get older.

I know what you mean. Somebody slipped a couple decades in there on me when I wasn't lookin.

I love this mod. It's been in constant use since I got it. It's had a titanium build in my Lotus on top for a couple months now.

Ive mostly been running it with a serpent elevate (ss316) or petri24 tank with ss also.

oh you asked for a manual :D

This is what I get for trying to do too many things at once. I thought you were asking about a firmware upgrade. The manual is pretty useless anyway. The menu system is pretty much like most other Yihi devices, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask and one (or all) of us will see if we can help.

Looks like lots of great info in the posts above!! I did not check out the vsticking manual download above , however most YiHi boards work the same mostly ( our does not have bluetooth) sooo just look at info for almost any...like the YiHi 550 ( probably has the most info available).
The simple answer to the joules question is...joules=watts on yihi is for temp control, otherwise just use watts, So if I have a stainless steel 316 (SSL) coil ( most folks use this for temp control) with resistance (ohm) @.20 I can set joules at 68 and then set temp to 405F (207C). push joytick straight down and hold to lock coil resistance..set boost to standard (push joystick to the right to switch between settings). I now can have a warm steady vape and no dry hits.. you can move both joules and temp to your liking...this is where mine is set right now...BTW the coils material setting are in the menu ( 5clicks on fire button
with the tank you are using right now just use the watts setting and play with the boost :)

TCR -(TCR stands for Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) dont mess with it ..the only time I use it is when I have made some SSL316 claptons with nichrome outer wraps (3*28)ssl316(38*)ni and want to use temp control ...when you have learned about it then I would play with it..or when you understand what I just wrote in this last sentence lmao!! not sure I even do reading again :p

temp comp just set at room temp..unless using outside in one of you nice warm winters :D

now for even more fun!! lol...there is what is called SQI that you will see when you click thru boost settings..you will find the only way to set this up si in the software (sxi) on pc...there you can set your own watts curve ( you can use this with the tank you have if you want). too long to explain here. Just check it out and should be easy to understand or google it.

now that I have probably repeated everything that everyone has already said in the above posts badly :p
Above all keep asking questions here, that is how I learned to enjoy vaping
