So, as usual, I was perusing Pinterest and found this......Berry Marscapone cake. Goddamm, it looked gooooooood. I threw this together, hoping everything would work and it did. Wonderfully. Day four and the cake has finally come out and the sharpness of the berries has mellowed. Yum. That’s all I can say.......WF Marscapone is the s***.

WF Bumbleberry. 2%
WF Fluffy White Cake. 3%
WF Marscapone. 1.5%
Cap NY Cheesecake. 2%
VT Sweet Cream. 1.5%
FLV Boysenberry 0.75%

I’m thinking you can use any mixed berry at the appropriate percentage. The OG used Flavor Phoenix Cream Cake@3%, but I figured more people would have WF, so I subbed it. I’m assuming you can also sub the sweet cream, but VT’s is so thick, sweet and fluffy that I would use it, if you can. I can also see FLV or FA whipped cream working, but maybe add a touch of your favorite sweetener.

Steep for at least 5 days.

I will definitely get the vta cream, and the bumbleberry!
For now I will sub with fa whip cream and I have to go through my berries.
Can you taste the marscopone at 1.5 with the cream and cheesecake?
I trust you lol, I am just more heavy handed than you.
This sounds really nice, and a change from lemon meringue pie lol!

Yup.....it enhances the twang and def creates more cheesy with the cheesecake.

So I added FLV Boysenberry to darken and jam up the fruit a little. I like it a lot more this way. I’m also thinking of adding a drop or two of FLV Smooth Vanilla.....I was watching Fresh03’s show and he raved about Smooth Vanilla and Angel Cake...like they were meant for each other.

Sounds like it would work but of course I don’t have either flavor.

Yeah, me either and sadly, I'm unlikely to ever have FLV Smooth Vanilla ... I just can't bring myself to pay almost 20$ for a 15ml bottle of freakin' food flavoring. It does appear to be pretty concentrated but for me at least, that just means it will go bad before I'm able to use it up. :gaah:

Quick question, is it Mascarpone or Marscapone? I've also seen a third spelling which I'm certain isn't right ... Mascarpose.

I'm gonna mix this up w/ fa forest fruit for a sub and probably go to like 1% since I find it very strong.

Eek! Almost $20? Yikes that’s expensive! I think it’s spelt Mascarpone.
