Looks like a missle. Russian body, USA tip. Damn, you got a cold war situation on your, in your, hands lol. Looks sweet I want an Overlord but that Blade looks badass!!!

HA! Didn’t see it that way. That’s great. I really like the mod. It’s very comfortable to hold and this combo is one of my favorite vapes.

I just got my first Mech setup. Vindicator/Goon 25mm combo and I'm in love! Your setup looks awesome. From what I've read that mod hits hard

Ya know I have a respectable collection of high end Mech's but the most used tube really is my Kennedy Vindicator'. Bang for the buck along with ease of use and maintenance it's been my favorite.

Here is my black cerecot with my black MCV Fuel V2!

Not a great or sexy picture but here's my modest collection of tube mods. Purge Truck, Purge B2B v4 (truck and B2B are clones) Purge Hear no Evil, RVN Chronicle, Kennedy 20700 Vindicator, Able clone, Unicorn MDX knurled, God Mods of Russia Hammer of God, and lastly Praxxis. The Praxxis is likely a clone but have not been able to confirm one way or another.

I need more

It was my first tube mod. Won it in a contest at a local vape shop. It scared the shit out of me and it's what pushed me to learn to use it safely and started me down the mech rabbit hole.

I like how clean it's and hard it hits, still beats many of my more expensive 24/25mm mods

I still use a few of my old mechs. I love my OG Manhatten (forgot about it for awhile) and I love my Panzer in 18350 mode. I still use my Petri as well. Most of old mechs were not even hybrid but damn some still hit hard. And they are smaller than my Complyfe/Purges with the same batteries.

Don't get me wrong. I love a lot of 20700 and 21700s but a 20s hits damn hard with the old school mechs if you build correctly. I'm not saying the new high end mechs are hype. Justv saying the old ones have a lot to offer as well. Praxis is a sweet mod that I gave away (was trying to help a first time mech user). I wish I had kept my Penny as well.

copper praxis on a VTC4 is hard to match, never used samsung batteries before 21700 and should sony makes some available Im moving to those.

twice I have hard thermal runaways (my fault) and both times the sonys got warm to hot but not unbearable and made this psssssssss sound & smelled like gas. Beats an exploding battery for sure. Not saying that samsung wont do the same, just that i feel safe-r with Sonys

old school mods i still keep are an Electric Angel V2, Aria Oros, a Lernaia Hydra, some petri 22, a REO. Keep them as collector items. but the praxis is a day to day still for me.

VTC4’s were a good 23a battery, I moved from them to VTC5A’s which are a damn good 25a battery. I have since rotated them all out for Samsung 20S, a one hell of a great performing 30a battery. They are IMO the best performing 18650 hands down.

Yeah I use VCT4, 5 & 5a. Not saying Samsung may or not hit harder, I just from my own experience feel safer using Sonys

I have one of those Sigelie #24 mods. That thing is definitely still relevant and a pretty good mod.
that and a lot other side button mods were clones/derivates of the original GGTS.

And yeah still nice mods, I use my EA v2 a lot still

Yeah, that one is actually a Drawtube made by Beautiful.
Much nicer than the Segalis that tended to suck a lot, IMO.

IMG_5135.jpg

Got it back in 2013 for like $40. (which was still a lot back then)
I had to grind the plated contacts down, but since then it's been a great mod...still use it. :D

The springs on the siglie would get hot as hell. I had one that the plating flaked off from getting so hot. I cant remember what spring fit it and fixed it but I still pick it up from time to time when vaping at higher resistance.

Yup, I remember those. Collapsing springs were an issue..thin steel springs IIRC.

Springs on this were fine, but they'd plated the brass contacts on the Drawtube over with that chrome...derp!
A little sanding and it'll hit a 0.4Ω without issue or a hot button. :)

This puzzles me, Samsung, Sony, LG, Sanyo and Panasonic are all #1 top tier batteries. They can all be equally trusted

I would have to go and get mine and confirm but I think I blasted the chrome all the way off the bottom piece and just happened on a fat ass spring that fit perfectly. Its a real tight fit but at higher ohms its an easy puffer. Now I am going to dig it up and use it.

Check the button too, the side button post also had to be sanded or it'll get WARM fast. I gave it a slight curvature like you'd do on a sqounker...basically the same mechanism.

Mine works awesome. There are no issues with it, just trying to remember all the things I have done to it many, many mods ago.

There is something just NICE about a bottom-side-firing mech...love 'em

Its an incredibly practical design although definitely not the hardest hitting when compared to designs with more contact area.
