Shinning copper is difficult..... What's a good polishing cream for copper ?

For plain copper vape stuff like my copper TOBH RDA and Panzer mech, I've used the vinegar method, but on yours I don't think I'd risk it as there may be other metals or things in there too. You also have to stop the reaction using vinegar at a point, as it's an acid and you don't want it continuing...

I've heard Wright's is a good solution too

Thanks!

I've just having fun with my thrift store finds. Two old and working Canon camera for $3 = Win.
They won't replace my G10 anytime soon though. Love that beast. ;)

A decent Canon beats most everything else. :D

4 and 5MP actually. But yes, megapixels don't matter much, it's the glass and the operator that matters. How much did that phone cost? They use decent optics and a LOT of software to take their pretty photos. Basically Lightroom on a phone.

You're right though, whatever works is fine by me. Even if you're a Ni-Kon guy. ;):)
You DO take beautiful photos, and that is what matters, eh?

Yeah it's true.... I had a Canon D1 back in my newspaper years in the early 2000's and it was like $15,000 back then.....

But even in today's standards the images specially low light, it takes are simply amazing....... 4.5 mp

Sweet. I love the "vintage" iron. I got a old film camera that I used to love, but it had an accident...still hope to use the lens again someday.

Well, you are good at it. :)

I'd like to re-finish my Classique mod, the slight orange peel in the finish bugs me as a woodworker. The Kamagong deserves better.

But, afraid I'd harm the value if I modify it? Plus, no idea what sort of lacquer or other may have been used.

+1

It's no DSLR, but it's damn close. And, screw the damn over-rated plastic-ey G15. I got mine for $50 gently used with two aftermarket batteries, all the cables and such, and a Nappa leather case.. ;-)

I shot photos @ xmas at fam this year with mine. First year we had decent photos..mom was amazed..lol

Very VERY nice indeed Manny. Brings back memories. Great shot of the superstitions especially. BTW, is Tortilla Flats still up there?
Have no Idea about The Flats..... I was there to work and took a couple of pictures out of the window when driving.....

I hang out mostly in Scottsdale.....

Took these around the neighborhood..... I think that's The McDowell mountain in the back....

Yeah, I looked through them all. For a city boy, I really loved romping around those mountains. Lived down there for almost 5 years, 30 plus years ago, as you know. The McDowell range is further north from the Superstitions. (as you also well know)

Even been to the very top of 4 Peaks in the Tonto National Forest. Boy do I have some stories from there :) Probably the closest I ever came to actually shooting somebody. A guy walked up on our camp on foot at like 5 in the morning. My buddy and I were at the foot of the peaks. This guy had been walking down all night because his brother had almost driven the two of them and their girlfriends off that narrow dirt road that goes up there. A wall of mountain on one side and a several hundred foot drop on the other and no guard rail.

The pickup was wedged angle ways with the front axle stuck on the edge and one of the rear tires up in the air. They all managed to get out the drivers side and this guy left his brother with the girls and set out to look for help. Imagine being in the middle of nowhere like that and having somebody come up on you in the dark. I had a 12 gauge.

Took a few seconds to get things sorted about what was going on and we went up there and used a tow rope to pull his truck back onto the road. At least back then, that area is WAAAAY off the beaten path. He would have been walking at least another day just to make it to the little two lane highway that's out there.

Anyway. Enough of that. Your pics bring back memories.
