Got some vape mail, rewicked the DropDead for a new flavor...haven’t tried said new flavor yet though, set up a trade with a VU member, rewrapped a VTC5A, checked a few tracking numbers and prayed to the mail gods that my remaining 3 packages don’t all show up on Monday. And I once again checked out the DIY juice stuff but just can’t convince myself to make the jump.

My day one in DIY. Heart thumping, cautiously mixed up juice, hands shaking. Wiped bead of sweat from my forehead..... finished. Said out loud, "You mean that's it??"
Go for it. You can make ice picks and lanyards, DIY will be easy.
Just made a single core Clapton wire, used 24g kanthal for the core and 30g kanthal for the wrap. Not the prettiest but I’m happy for my first try...ok the first 3 got tossed.

On this snowy Sunday I washed a few squonk bottles and a refill bottle, tried a Fruity Pebbles cheesecake (I thought it was donut) juice...it’s ok, got a cart together with everything I’ll need to make some vape juice, and swapped rda’s on a couple squonkers.

Just installed the first Clapton coil I made myself, came out to .63 which is a little higher than usual and takes a second or two to really ramp up but the flavor is great! Also tried using thinner wire to make another Clapton coil but that was a flop as I just couldn’t see it well enough lol. And I washed a bunch of empty juice bottles for future use.

I didn't have the patience. I can do decent fused claptons but not more than that and no real reason for the frustration when there are many so many members who do terrific coils I can buy

What makes a Clapton fused? I know what you mean about the coils, a scroll through the build pics is like dang they’re good! I love how the mohawks look, they remind me of The Matrix ha ha.

A fused clapton is two or more cores fused together with a wrap wire. Some of the coil builders out there are wire artists.
