Some guy on Reddit found a wrap for his VK 530.
I don't care all that terribly much about looks, but if I could get a wrap cheap and cover up this graffiti finish I would. It's kind of grown on me a little bit but it's still not really my thing.
It's not bad the look..... But a Zwrapz from the UK will help protect the graffiti....IMG_20181110_230306-01.jpeg

I don't know if this is true of all YIHI based devices as this is the only one I have, but you have to turn this mod off and remove the atomizer in order for the SXIQ dialog in the SXI software to be available. It took me a minute to figure that out and just thought I'd mention it.

Love mine, I just got this last Friday-and no I don't use TC , I have my mode set to powerful and hits pretty hard to me.Love the battery life too, right up there with my Asmodus Minikins. Right now I am using the Ello Duro Sub tank with a .4 kanthal coil at 34w.
I am not a high power vaper.

Now that I've gotten myself familiar with it, I find it to be a great device too. Regular power mode (Kanthal as this mod calls it) does work great. If you plan on ever using the the power curve settings they are a lot easier to set in the SXI software than in the device's menus. You can also save entire groups of settings as a file and just sync the device to it in one fell swoop later without having to change everything manually. That's actually pretty cool and convenient.

Maybe you knew all this already :)

Once you get a handle on how everything works it does do very fine TC as I've found out. I need to learn some more patience sometimes.

I'm running mine with my Hugsvape Lotus RTA (which is awesome). The screen always comes out blurry.

I really like your Graffiti print- Different than the same old same old mods I see. Plus a really nice YiHi chip, that is why I bought mine. Plus VSticking now has a Black Carbon for people who don't like prints.
I think you have made a much better choice buying the Vsticking instead of Innokin Proton which is probably a nice mod, but I think the VSticking is a much better one.
You would have bought the Proton and wished you had spent the money on the VSticking.
I didn't even know I wanted one till there was a contest here in VU giving one away- I read more about it and watched reviews and when I didn't win one I bought one. The feel of this mod is awesome too, feels well made, took me a bit to get used to the joystick and a little frustrating at first to get to the options and settings, but didn't take too long to figure it out- I haven't used the computer settings yet.
Love the full color screens too- and long battery life.
You will love being able to customize your vape, once you are patient and get used to using it, I know I will.
The Hugs Lotus RTA looks great with it- I have the OBS Engine V2 RTA, but am using that on my Asmodus EOS II Ultroner-
I love the purple Ello Duro sub tank- looks so nice with my White Deity print. Now I have to look for a purple RTA- I have the Rainbow VV Pyro RDTA and rainbow OBS Nano RTA, but didn't like how they looked with this mod.

Love mine, I just got this last Friday...
Congrats!! I'm glad you like yours too. :)

I don't use TC , ...
WHAT?!?!?! Away with thee knave! Of course I'm jist kiddin. :D

I have my mode set to powerful and hits pretty hard to me.
You might actually enjoy the powercurve function of this mod. Half second intervals up to 10 seconds. Easy to do in the PC software.

Right now I am using the Ello Duro Sub tank with a .4 kanthal coil at 34w.
I am not a high power vaper.

The first time I ever vaped was on an Eleaf Ikunn. That purple Ello Duro looks very nice with that finish. I think I'm probably a high-ISH power vapor. How anybody can survive 200 watts is beyond me though.

I really like your Graffiti print-
To be honest, I ordered it by mistake LOL!. Of the three that vapordna had, I wanted the camo, but would have gone for the black cf had it been available when I ordered mine. Like I say, it's grown on me though.

Plus a really nice YiHi chip, that is why I bought mine.
Me too.

That's probably true and I'm happy about my choice now.

The feel of this mod is awesome too, feels well made,...
I didn't like how light the aluminum was at first, but that's grown on me too and yes, it does have a luxury feel to it. I love the shape, but wasn't sure about the front mounted fire button at first either, but it's fine now that I'm used to it.

...took me a bit to get used to the joystick and a little frustrating at first to get to the options and settings, but didn't take too long to figure it out- ...
I actually took to the joystick pretty quickly. I can envision how a joystick controlled device could be done very wrong, but I think the YIHI setup is done well. There are ALOT of settings and options compared to other mods. At least once you're out of novice mode. Those took a little while to get a grip on.

I haven't used the computer settings yet.
Ohhhh ya gotta do that. Very cool. Then you can upload a lovely matchy matchy wallpaper like this: :)
bellflower-purple_cr.jpg

Love the full color screens too- and long battery life.
The screen is a bit small, but SUPER high quality. Hi-rez and brilliant colors. I haven't had occasion to test the battery life yet.

The Hugs Lotus RTA looks great with it-
Thank you. That is a perfectly fabulous RTA. Simple, elegant and a great vape. No purple though :(

Now I have to look for a purple RTA- ...
Hmmm, purple RTA. Uwell makes a purple Valaryian, but that's another subohmer, though a great one. Of course SMOK makes an array of purple tanks, but they don't really do rebuildables except for the RBA deck you can get for some of their tanks. A good purple RTA might be a task.

Yeah, but I only got the warning that I know of when going for the update dialog. The settings and SXIQ dialogs told me they were simply not supported, before the firmware upgrade.

It's your turn Manny. :) You know ya gotta get one of these :) You already have every other freakin mod on earth LOL!

Ya ripped me off man! That's the finish I wanted.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be interested in your experience with it so far.

I liked it. But the fact that it cam along with my titan pwm mod, it’s not getting mich love from me .
You can have it if you want. Pm me

Wow look at my Vaping Dragon avatar- looks so cool! I hope I can find time to play with loading different wallpapers.
If you decide to try it, HERE is the one I cropped and color saturated without the VU branding that the forum software puts on the bottom. Of course you can do whatever you want, but that's what I found worked best when I was playing with the image.

Part of my shopping list is for a 3rd 200 (+) watter. I'm really liking this one for the $. Looks well built.
http://www.vsticking.com/Product/Device/76.html
$62ish before any promos but haven't looked everywhere yet.

.

I don't know if you have ever used Ali-Express( I have) but found black here- there are many vendors so do a search, but this is a great pricing for the black carbon- just a long wait from China though!
https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=AS_20181116035821&SearchText=vsticking

I bought mine from VapeNW- took 2 days to reach my house- but they don't have black carbon yet.
Great price too- $59.00 shipped.

yeah, If I'm going to spend, I always shop around and base the decision on cost/vendor/shipped from.
It can be a chore with the diff codes/discount %/.....If it's just one thing, it's not so involved
I have other things on my list, like Drag Mini, Kylin V2, RDA, so might depend on if they have more than 1 thing that I want and how that puzzle fits.:xD:
Still looking/waiting to see if any better deals pop up.

I have bought from AliExpress. I got my Creator 75C from Vapecige's store there. Paid for DHL but it took them seemingly forever to send it out. However, when it arrived with all the buttons rattled and I showed them, I got a full refund without needing to send it back, so I fixed the rattle :bliss:

You sound like me- yes I try to shop around- but for the VSticking I paid the few extra dollars to get it sooner and used a US vendor. The waiting sometimes on China shipping can be so slow and I can get impatient. Good that Vapecigs(Aliexpress ) took care of you! I have used vendors thru Ali Express with no problems.
Hey plus Black Friday-Cyber Monday is right around the corner and I am sure many great sales are too!

Same here. I don't mind paying a bit extra for US, and sooner.

Yeah, I'm with you guys. It's all about finding the best buy including shipping which is still money. A great deal becomes not so great if the savings is eaten up by shipping charges.

I too try to find the most items I can at the same place. Saving 12 dollars on the products, but spending enough more on shipping kills the savings ,while getting multiple items at the same place is always less for shipping and maybe even free if you go over their minimum for free shipping.
However, it can be maddening if one stray item refuses to be available with all the rest at the same place. :gaah:
Or if there's great deals on say 3 items at 3 different places :gaah:

If the price difference were great enough, I'd wait for shipping from China. Especially if it's free. Usually though, it's just below enough of a difference to make me wait.

Don't feel obligated though just because I did. It wasn't much work anyway :) Maybe you'll find something you like better.

I don't know how good you are with computers, but this is a breeze. It's a 60 second click through install of the software and if you need the driver for Windows to see the mod, it's literally another less than 60 second click through install plainly shown on the home page of the software interface.

Once in, uploading wallpapers is VERY easy to do too.

Also, if you don't have the latest firmware, that is also quite easy and very fast to upgrade too.

It IS a little dopey that they made the software package a zip file (which newer versions of windows will unzip by default) and the firmware a rar file, which requires another program.

(PLEASE SEE NEXT 2 POSTS)

Ya know what? I'm gonna redo the whole thing myself and make it even easier for people, like they should have done in the first place. I can see how less computer literate folks might get confused along the way.

Ok, in THIS zip file, created by me and hosted on my own personal Apache web server* , there is everything anybody needs to upgrade to the newest firmware as of today, and to install, connect their VK530 and at least load wallpaper with the YIHI SXI software.

Including renamed files to be less confusing and step by step readme text files walking ANYbody through how these things are done.

It is not however a complete tutorial of everything the software does.
=============================
* A ten year old HP desktop computer can make a perfectly functional web server using all free open source software :D I bring this up to make clear that I know first hand, the source of the files AND the host you are downloading it from.

The thing is, I've been a computer support tech for almost 20 years and you'd think by now I'd realize that what is brain dead simple for me isn't necessarily obvious to non-tech people.

As I was going through this in my head, it occurred to me that just like every other computer issue I've dealt with, there are in fact going to be folks who have a hard time with this. Not because they're stupid. It has nothing to do with intelligence or the lack thereof. People are just wired differently.

It would be a bummer for some to not be able to take advantage of the capabilities of this mod, (or any mod really) just because the technical aspect is intimidating to them.

Hopefully this package is helpful. I will be interested to see how this goes for you. Maybe my instructions aren't as clear as I think they are. Feel free to let me know and of course I'd be happy to answer any questions and revise the directions as necessary.

There is a MAC version of the SXI software from YIHI themselves, but it's still in beta.

As long as your PC is at least running Windows 7 I imagine it should work.

Fingers crossed the beta version works out.

I can’t remember but I’ll check to see which windows version we have, thanks!

You are so right-
I think my biggest fear about upgrades is bricking the mod- which I read so many times on different forums about people doing upgrading their mods.
I upgraded both of my Therions with Replay and had no problems. People wrote step by step what to do and it worked for me.
If you could write step by step what to do I would greatly appreciate it.
If I add the Snap Dragon- will the wallpaper hold more then 10 or would I have to delete one?
I have windows 7- yes and old computer.
I am not a big techie, lucky I know how to show my pictures on line- LOL!

The YiHI process is practically foolproof. You'd pretty much have to intentionally try to have something go wrong. I'll help in any way I can.

I upgraded both of my Therions with Replay and had no problems. People wrote step by step what to do and it worked for me. If you could write step by step what to do I would greatly appreciate it.
The ZIP FILE I created has 2 readme files in it with step by step instructions for both upgrading the firmware and uploading wallpaper. Step by step.

If I add the Snap Dragon- will the wallpaper hold more then 10 or would I have to delete one?
Uploading one will automatically replace one. It's all in the readme files. :)

I have windows 7- yes and old computer.
That should still work.

I am not a big techie, lucky I know how to show my pictures on line- LOL!
I was kinda getting that sense and that's ok. There's nothing to be embarrassed about there. Seriously.

Let's start with this actually. Do you know how to open a zip file? If not, that's fine too and I'll put together a simple web page where you won't have to.
