where to buy battery wraps?

i have tried some from ft and 3fv. they have been hit or miss. for example, i got a couple different packs of 10 wraps with different graphics on them. lets say the 'wolverine' ones all worked as expected, then the 'darth vader' ones like 6 out of 10 crack or split putting the battery in, the ends curl up, etc etc. ft and 3fv are the only places i have noticed them for sale, so im wondering if there is a higher quality/more consistent source i am missing somewhere.

also, is there any difference in plain wraps and wraps with art and designs on them? the stock/plain wraps the batteries ship with feel like they are way tougher than the cool art ones i bought. i would prefer toughness to coolness though, if there is a choice/difference.

Most reputable b&m's will wrap your batteries for free. It is just plain ole good business sence. First it bringz you in to the shop and you may potentiality buy something and it also helps keep you safe so you can be available to make future purchases. Have a safe day and may the Force be with you.

My first battery wrap purchase was off Amazon from a Chinese Company and now I usually just add them on to other purchases as I make them. I haven't found any difference with the ones I have so far. Good Luck

Most all won't actually due to liability reasons, I actually haven't seen one that does.

I go to one that is very reputable, they help me if I ever asked. Told me how to fix a issue instead of telling me I needed a new mod when starting out. In turn I bought a new one anyway. So these guys go beyond what they have to do. However they will not re wrap your batteries. For the exact r055co said. Liability. They will sell them to you and give you instructions on how to do it.

Perhaps it is a regional difference because in my neck of the woods MOST b&m's do wrap batteries. As far as liability issuez go battery manufacturers are not shy to point out that their products ARE NOT developed for vaping and all liability rests on the consumer.

my local shop did my first one for me a couple years ago, showed me what to do etc. now they dont even sell wraps, wire or wick :grumpy:

thanks for the suggestions so far. for some reason i never thought to look for anything else at imr and liion but the exact cells i am buying:tantrum: they both seem to have every size of wrap, and insulators, but no artsy graphics. i wonder if thats kind of an answer to whether the plain ones are tougher/better...

Well I am not just making it up for conversational sake. With that I have some I am taking to have wrapped now. I am grateful for the relationships I have developed within the industry.

Trust me I wish mine did, not that it is hard. Just give me a reason to stop by a bit more often. I don't go in that one like I use to.

It is not a matter of being able to do it yourself or not. I have battery wraps also a heat gun although a hairdryer is more forgiving. It is about social interaction and develpoing relationships. I usually tip them out way more than the cost of time and materials. The fact is if I need something they go the extra mile to help out because I am a swell guy and treat them well. Everyone else is right, I am wrong. I am out. Peace.

Oh and I just returned with 6 freshly wrapped batteries done in a shop I have not been to untill today. Nice folks with a nice relaxing atmosphere. Glad I went because I had a cracked insulator under a what appeared to be a still good wrap. Might have been an issue if left unattended. Thank you Vapor Road of Clearwater Florida and Trey who took his time to assist me.

I've got em from Liion, IMR, and Fasttech. The only ones I got from FT are still doing well. I got two sets of these to pair them up-

I went out and bought wraps in the same colors as the original. Maybe some kind of anal thing?
