Best tank for chain vaping?

I'm heavy chain vaper. I'm looking for a tank that will vape all day without dry hits, leaking, not too much of a juice hog (prolly not possible) and hopefully coils that last more than a few days to a week. I've had no luck yet

Currently switched back to my old crown 1 and even though it leaks it vapes soooo well all day long!

I chain vape to I like my uwell valyrian so far it's doing great I vape it between 60-100 watts depending on what connection pin I use (there interchangeable) can't really say how the coils life span is I've had mine for about a week now using the one it came with.

From what I can tell, if you heavily chain vape, you're coils just aren't going to last. At least not for more than 4-5 days. One thing I'd love to see people reference (including those that do reviews) is how many mls of juice they go thru rather than talk about how many days they went before changing coils. I've seen one guy say his coil lasted 3 weeks but there's no way he did that while using 10-15mls a day like myself or other people do. He had to have been doing one tank full of juice a day.

Good luck.

Yeah same here I wish reviewers would say how much they vape with the tanks. I'm not sure the exact amount I use a day but as a reference on my experience with the valyrian 1 120ml last 1 month for me haven't had the valyrian that long yet tho so that's why I said I can't speak on the coils life span yet.

Can you rotate in a 2nd setup, even if an aio or pod device? Heat is the enemy, as is using too low nic.

I ran into a couple of people using the Valyrian this weekend. One said the og coil lasted 5 days of hard vaping 10-15 ml, but that's just feedback from one person. Both said they really liked the tank, more than tfv8, Crown 3, and older Uwell tanks. I'm waiting for the price to come down on the Valyrian.

Such a good point! I fill my tanks easily 3-4 times a day. It would also be nice to see the manufacturers put this information on the box or book too. If you can't recommend wattage you can surly recomend to change a tank after Xmls.

I'm using the tfv8-x now ... it's great for like 3days then goes to burnville...

This is why I went to rta’s. I was in the same boat as you. No matter what tank I used, coils were burned in 2-3 days. I was spending so much money on coils.

Now my own coils will last for weeks depending on what juice I’m running and I’m saving a lot of money. Just something to keep in mind if you’ve ever thought of building your own coils.

Yep, that's the goal. I use to build back in the day, but today it's so easy to by good pre-made coils I think that's just the road I'll take ... maybe get back to building my self too.

I have been using my uWell Rafale and been chain vaping since I woke up this morning with it. Around 20MLs of liquid cranked through it so far. I chain vape with all my tanks so the list is pretty long.

Do you prefer the Rafale over the Crown? I really love/d my Crown 1.

I do not have a Crown so I can't say on it but I will say a lot of people said stay away and I am glad I didn't listen! I bought the tank because I had the coils and now I need to find a supplier for coils! If you go by reviews it can hurt you in the end..

Yeah. I stopped using my Crown because it's impossible to get coils for it in Quebec. uWell's aren't that popular here. Plus with all the new laws we have it's really tough getting stuff even online

Surprised to hear that although I thought nicotine imports is a problem
for you, I have Nicotine exports from Canada come to me with no issues. Coils should not be a problem ...............

I use my Big Baby Beast the most, 42 watts, 10-15 ml of 80/20 juice per day (more on the weekends), & I would consider myself a chain vaper. I don't build my coils but I do use the rebuildable deck. I put in my current wick on 8/20 & still getting great flavor & zero dry hits. This is pretty normal for me since doing my own wicks & juice.

*Note - when I switched my vg to the bull city flavors brand my wicks gained double the life. And my wife uses stock coils for the Baby Beast & hers now last 3-4 weeks.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the RTA deck for this tank is the way go! Not just for quality of flavour and cloud but for longevity and cost as well. :)

I have baby beast and big baby beast. I vape 15+ml a day and my coils don't last a day with the new juices I got 80/20. No clue how to build coils and don't have the patience to build. Help

I fill my original Crown about 6 times a day & I've been using it at 60-80w for about 4 years. Sure, it weeps a bit past the coil into the air flow & eats a Uwell coil about every 6-8 days (I bought 500 of them on sale a couple of years ago), but after trying a couple of other tanks, I always come back to the Crown for the flavor.

Building is way easier than you might think, but if you don't want to try that I'd suggest a new tank. I have been putting the Freemax Mesh Pro through the ringer now for about 3wks & have yet to have any reduction in flavor on the single mesh coil it came stocked with. I'll be putting the double mesh coil to the rest next. But I'd say this is a great tank to try. But look into building, I was nervous about getting into it at first but everyone here was very helpful & supportive in getting me going. It will open a while new world of vaping to you.

Couldn't find them locally, but I got the Vaporesso GT Mesh 0.18 coils online. Not sure yet how long they will last, but flavor is pretty decent and it produces a lot of clouds (which you may or may not like) compared to the Smok coils. It is fine after 4 days using 70 or 75 vg. They make a lower power ceramic coil too.

Tried GeekVape Aero mesh coil too. Not bad at all, but the Vaporesso GT performs better.

There are many compatible coils. If you are in a pinch and can only find the Smok brand, the newer Prince Baby mesh and t12 last longer than the original Baby coils.

80 vg might be pushing it a little in most factory coil tanks- especially in the colder weather. Might have to make small pin holes in the cotton, wait a bit between vapes, etc.

I'm new and need a little advice. I have a Ijust 2 kit by eleaf and I bought a Mage v2 tank. The kit came with a good tank but I wanted another one. I use 70/30 juice I get pretty good clouds but I want more vape clouds lol. I can only get big clouds if I take a deep deep lung hit. How safe is it to use a double coil setup like the MAGE v2 on a 80w ijust 2,is it safe to take long hits using the MAGE v2 tank with out fear of the battery going boom? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get alot more vape from my Ijust 2? I would like a tank that looks cool but somewhat matches my Ijust.
Edit, I hit my Ijust alot through out the day I have noticed that the Mage tank goes through alot of juice I know it will because I'm using a duel coil setup. Like I said I'm new and if anyone has any great advice that'll help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

One issue- I think the iJust 2 battery is 22mm, so most newer tanks will overhang and look slightly awkward. I also think they were all silver.

You could get a silver cascade baby or smok baby beast and run it with 0.18 GT Mesh coils, but the wider version of those tanks would have better airflow.

Or, try Tobeco Super Tank 0.2 coil in the iJust tank.

You might be better off with a dual battery box mod for the Mage. Or if you want a tube, a whole new setup, 24-25mm. But a regulated box offers so much adjustability and battery life. Tube is fine for on the go, but you don't get the full experience of playing with the power, and other features.

Yeah, I was receiving notifications so many times a day I finally said I will do it when I have time before Vz pushes it to me when I did not have time to learn what changed. After researching the issues I found most were not associated with the Pixel 2 XL. I am not using gestures and the only difference is closing Apps there is No X anymore. So minimize and clear all which sucks if I want to leave one open. But I do see longer battery life from the AI.

Thanks bro I appreciate the kind words. Yeees sir movin on up lol. I want the Smok x-priv really bad though lol... I really like the style of the priv. For me it's mostly about the looks and I know it shouldn't be it should be about using what ever vape device he/she can afford to stop smoking ciggs or chewing tobacco. But I don't see anything wrong with wanting something better. I wish I could win one, that would be really cool. If I did win a bad ass mod I would give away my Ijust 2 to someone that doesn't have the money to go out and buy a vape mod. Iv only had my Ijust 2 for almost 2 weeks now and I'm already wanting something different.

IV got time to shop I may end up changing my mind. I'll ask other experienced users what they would suggest me to buy. Is the 510 ping the drip tip or the part that connect to the battery on the bottom of the tank?

There is one fundamental property that some just don't get with chainvaping. Your first hit off a cold coil, you need (depending on the build) a moment of ramp up time to get a proper vape. Its the 2nd hit off a already warmed up coil that is the killer..it only takes a microsecond to get a warmed up coil to become red hot thus burning both juice and coil if your not pulling hard enough to compensate. You have to let the coil cool down some between vapes to get that ramp up time back or you'll burn the coil. Not pulling hard enough on that warmed up coil thats becoming red hot instantly will burn and kill the coil. No real way other than experience and getting tired of buying or rebuilding to get one to stop chainvaping. It helps to pull a second or two of unpowered after the vape to help cool the coil down but still the more mass the coil, the longer to cool and even the after-vape pulling doesn't cool down enough if your vaping a massive multiwire coil. All that crackling after you vape you hear is juice burning onto the coil and if its cotton wicking your plugging up the fibers that lead into dryhits...read up on the properties of cotton, how the juice flows inside the fiber and how easy the fibers plug up from being burnt till no fibers left to move juice then dryhitting begins.
It doesn't matter what atty your using, they all do the same thing so IMO changing attys won't make any difference to the lifespan of a burnt chain-vaped coil. Learning to rebuild, control the chain-vaping and use rayon as wicking will lengthen the lifespan of any coil. Also over sweetened commercial juices are killer on coils no matter if they are storebought or home built..DIY juices also extend coil lifespan cause you control what goes into a juice.
Another option to chain vaping is higher nic.

My Fireluke Mesh has been great so far for me. Im getting 1 1/2 to 2 weeks per coil vaping at 55-60 watts (4 to 5 second pulls) at least 200 pulls per day and around 10-15ml of juice per day.

Use a TC Tank/Coil and you can chain vape like a chimney and not burn a coil as long as you do not set the Temperature and wattage to MAX.

Currently my main tanks are the Aromamizer Supreme V2 and the Kylin. I went to RTA's and RDTA's several years ago. Its Def better for the money. I use about 10-15ml per day with cotton and coils lasting about 3 weeks to a month or longer. The clouds are huge and flavor is on point. And I only use TC. That's how I make my coils and cotton last. I find the warm vape I like and keep it there. I'd say the Kylin is better than my V2 but stopping the damn thing from leaking is proving to be difficult. If you want something to chain vape and not burn through juice TC works (for me at least) plus a RTA. Building can be difficult but I do enjoy making a fresh set of coils. So just do your research and enjoy yourself.
