Sorry if this is redundant...a few pages back, one of you fine folks posted some screencaps from the BBV FB page that had the 'official' spare parts shown with pricing for each item, I searched but cannot find it.

Would that OP be so kind as to offer the link to that post in reply to my message here?

Thanks :)

You wont be able to see them yourself unless he adds your account visibility

I remember someone looking for an extra stealthy setup? Not sure who, but here is a link to a $1 kit. https://www.ejuices.com/products/myblu-starter-kit
Thanks so much for sharing that here.

Watching a few YT videos, despite being a closed-pod system, these are pretty easy to refill, re-wick, and/or rebuild.

I just ordered 4 of them, with free shipping, so total was only $4.

If it doesn't work for me, I will have them to give out to folks I know that want to quit smoking as a way of paying it forward and removing any friction and/or fear they might have with e-cigs

Developed some sort of funky flavor in the BB. I knew what that funky flavor was, machine oil. Couldn't figure it out, where would machine oil be coming from? Boro tank, drip tip, top spinny thinggy hold yer tank in yer BB mod type thing and bridge were soaked in Dawn and boiled.

Unscrewed the top spinny thinggy hold yer tank in yer BB mod type thing, I don't know what the heck it's called. The threaded part in the BB had some machine oil residue on it. Cleaned with vodka and a vaper towel and all good now.

Carry on, as you were.

I ordered 4 myself. Figured I'd try one and give the other 3 out

So, of all of you guys and gals out there that are using pod systems on occasion, which one has the tightest draw?

I've only used one Brew...Breeze with the .6 and 1.2 coils... and I can lung them if I tried...but don't.

I don't really think its a MTL device, but its MTL'able

Honestly I think I will send 20 to my parents... 4 kits and 16 pods, toss the 16 other devices. Keep 2 for myself and 8 pods
If you have no use for the battery part of those 16 units, I'll take them off your hands.

Please let me know. :)

I've actually only ever used the Eleaf iCare2, and that was back when I was running an OG authentic Goon 100% of the time in single-coil mode with the afc wide open on all 3 holes, and to borrow a phrase from another post here, the iCare2 was like trying to suck a watermelon through a straw for me at that time...

After about a week, I picked up a Pico 75w kit with the Melo3 Mini tank, and that was like night and day difference.

The only reason I grabbed the iCare2 was because it was cheap at the local B&M, and my only working mod died on me (P4U IPV8) and I had no backup mod...During that week I started watching YT vids after a long hiatus of not doing so for a while.

With the 1.5mg nic as my normal in a dripper, I had to go up to 9mg in the iCare2 and dilute similar to 60/40 (normally just go 100% VG).

Matt from Suck My Mod on YT has a review on the My.Von Erl and said that the draw is a pretty restricted DTL, but really more for the MTL crowd coming off the analogs.

See:

Also, refilling:

and lots of vids on rebuilding: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=my+von+erl+rebuild

At this point, anything is going to be looser than the iCare2. The iCare2 has 2 slits on the side that are like 0.5mm tall and 1mm wide, so if one is a hardcore MTL vaper, this might be great, but was painful for me.

I was going to try using it again, and I have an extra, unused pod and several of the 1.1 Ohm coils for it, but I cannot find the two units I had bought. I think it fell behind the desk, where angels fear to tread since I looked everywhere I might have put it and, nope, no joy.

Last weekend I was at another local B&M and had a chance to fondle several pod devices, and the Breeze 2 feels nice in the hand, and I was tempted by the Kanger K-Pin since it is also using the SSOCC coils which I like, the tank section is a standard 510 thread, and it's about 100mm tall, whereas the Breeze 2 is about 50mm tall. Either one was about $30 retail.

I did not buy any of them, but did get that pack of Atlantis 2 coils, which were too tight a draw for me. On one of the coils, I removed the positive pin from the bottom and enlarged the air-hole that is horizontal in the pin to 3mm, as well as the central vertical opening that goes up into the coil, enlarged to 3mm, and with that the air flow was better for me, still restricted, but right at the edge of a decent RDTL draw. Despite claiming to be a 0.7 Ohm coil, it was measure as 0.84 when installed in the BB, and anything higher than 17w I was feeling the start of dry hits when chain vaping. So for me it seems that the Nautilus 2 coils are out...

They are yours then. 2 units and 8 pods will last me for a long while utilizing them a few puffs when out and about.

So there is 8 units there for ya.

figured 4 units for the parents then the remaining 16 pods should work for them. so 24 battery units?

I'll keep a few of those charging cables though..never have enough USB charging cables lol

You mean like early Kayfuns? That was tight draw, the way I like it. I bought a hand full of the dollar ones, several people I know will be gifted them. I'll check out the Limitless Pulse.
Yup, like a Kayfun Lite!

I'm probably going to sell my authentic in favor of a SXK RPG. I'm having a hard time justifying keeping it just to use threaded drip tips. Literally everything else fits and functions just as well with the added convenience of USB.
Best part is that I can sell it, grab a couple JMK tip/button sets and STILL bank $100 (That will probably go towards panels from Troy. Dammit.)

I've been looking and comparing the two BB types and I started to think the SXKUSBBB is the better value when compared to the authentic. It is bothersome to see the authentic incapable of using the full potential the DNA chip should give it, the SXK on the other hand, I just plugged in and loaded my wire profiles, no fuss....I am sure the MF kit with the 1.3 ohm coils will be better in TC but I'll never know with the authentic since there is no SS 316 profile loaded in it:cuss2::gaah:

I feel very much the same way. On the flip side of that, when it comes to the BB all I need is wattage mode. I had some TC profiles flashed on my old SXK DNA 60 and it annoyed me with all the fiddling. All that aside, I just can't justify keeping the authentic for sake of it being authentic when there's a cheaper option that is the same in just about every way.
I know a lot of people don't feel the same as I do when it comes to the authentic vs. clone debate but they don't pay my bills. This they're argument is invalid to me.

Hi folks, I'm new over here after chasing down some info on the Vapeshell led me here.

To just sort of jump in where the conversation is currently, I've liked the idea of the BB for a long time but there's no way I could justify an authentic in my budget, unless I stopped buying all other vape stuff for about a year. And that's just not going to happen. So I bought a used SXK DNA40 a little while back to see how I liked it, and just ordered the USB DNA60 version. Once it gets here I'll sell the DNA40 for what I paid for it (gotta put a new tank in it though, I got it with the orange oring stretched all to hell and the plastic lip breaking in one corner). Anyway, all of that is a far cry from $400 or whatever for the small batches of authentics that appear randomly.

Authentic and or Clone... your money. If you can afford an authentic and want one, buy one... if your budget allows a damn good clone for a fraction of the cost, buy that one. None of us truly give two shits if its a clone...unless its a shitty clone, then tell us all about it please lol ;) So we don't buy it HAHA

Welcome to the slippery slope! I have a couple of authentic 60w BB and just in the last couple of weeks started playing with the SXK 60w BB. I like them all but the SXK one supersedes the authentics in functionality, especially if you plan on using TC. Depending on your vaping preferences, the VapeShell could be good or a major PITA. I MTL on the BB so VapeShell works well though I much prefer the MF bridge, but that is me. Others will jump in with their opinions, just remember to take what you need and have fun with it.

Thanks! I'll have to check out the sales threads. This seems to be the only place where there's much talk about the Billet Box in general. I know it's been out for a long time (I remember coveting the original release) but I'm surprised it's been left behind so thoroughly for most people.

SXKUSBBB arrived today. Got a 1.6 (reading 1.72) ohm Nauti coil in it. Got it all needed out with a Storm Trooper theme and flipped the screen. Build quality is good as expected.

Freaked me out bc it just shut off on me with 3.98v left on the battery. Put a new one in, working just fine. Can't figure out why it did that since I didn't mess with the battery settings at all.

Gonna test it for about a week to see how she holds up before I put my authentic up.
I'll keep you guys posted.

The dremel definitely wasn't as clean looking, but I'm about as handy as a paper can opener. So take that into account.

I've read in multiple places online since Jan 2018 that "Blu Ecig" which makes mostly cigalikes that are sold in gas stations and 7-11 stores purchased the "My. Von Erl" company. Rumor has it that Blu Ecig is either owned wholly or in part by a member of Big Tobacco.

Methinks it's a cash grab, since most reports I've seen of folks that have tried the Blu cigalikes say that compared to nearly and other device out since the past 2 yrs, the Blu devices are crappy and the closed system juices taste like acid.

I never tried on of those Blu cigalikes. I did buy an NJOY back in 2016 and it worked for about 15 puffs and then died. $10 I'll never get back. :(

On reddit /ecr Vuze and Blu get lots of hate for both ownership partners and/or being a crappy product.

Vapes on a PLANE! These mudda futtin VAPES on a plane! :)

Lucky you did not get caught. FAA would have made sure that local police arrested you when you landed, and pretty hefty fines would become another problem.

It's a pretty damn good lil pod...cheap too. Been using the same coil for almost a week, still tastes fine....although the nic is so high, I could be imagining things.....:)
