Good morning  Another Monday :blech: Of course after working all weekend Monday doesn't mean anything to me. :D But...I'm starting the week in hopes that I'll have at least Memorial Day off next week. Nothing else new going on...the girl child is mad cause I don't keep my phone glued to my hand while at work and I'm off to work tonight. ;) Have a great day all! :D

Our new baby seems to be making some progress. She got a little more active yesterday, and I'm glad to find that she seems to like me; she comes right to me when I walk into the room, and last night was content to rest on my knees for a while. She's getting better at jumping *up* and has claimed the top of kidly's wicker hamper as her favorite resting spot. So, she seems to be getting over her vaccination-and-surgery trauma, and our desires for a lap-kitty seem to be going along swimmingly. :)

We haven't tried anymore cat-on-cat interactions since Thursday night, when they had a hissing contest and the little one went completely nuts and jumped right out of my arms -- fortunately I was right beside a table, so she didn't have far to go. She seems to be kind of a psycho-kitty, with jumping and flexing right out of your grasp, anytime she gets upset; I noticed it with that last hissing contest, and kidly noticed it when he took her to the vet and she got that shot of steroids -- which do hurt, I know very well. He says she does the same thing when he has to give her the antibiotic, which, mercifully, she gets the last dose of, today. :)

We're thinking that maybe she's so brave, hissing at the much bigger cat, just because someone is holding her, or she was in the carrier, the first time -- next, we'll try just letting them "meet" at the same level, on the floor, neither restrained or confined, and see if she's so brave then. Tuxie seems very complacent and calm about the whole matter, thankfully, but she's nobody's fool; if the little one takes a swipe at her, she'll swipe right back -- hence waiting till the little one is in better health.

Glad to hear the new kitty is progressing well.
lap kittys are GOOD!

Entered a Phil Busardo contest and here is the response I got. I think he needs to update his auto response...

Thanks for entering and GOOD LUCK!!

Thank you so much for the support through the year and for watching the videos. It means a lot to me.

2017 is going to be a tough year for vaping. I urge you to support vaping in any way that you can. Follow advocacy groups, listen to their calls to action, avoid drama, and do what you can to help get the predicate date changed.

Together we need to convert more smokers and show them the healthier alternative that is vaping.

From my family to yours... we wish you the Happiest Of Holidays, Happy New Year, and, of course... MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Vape Happy Everyone!

The air purifiers are helping! Have one in my room and one in the living room. I'm also done with the WTA. Feeling better. :stars:

That's good about the WTA, not only about the addiction, but I found that WTA did bother my asthma a bit. Now, if I'm feeling really stressed or depressed, I might add a drop or two to my atty, but it's such a small amount, it doesn't bother me so much -- but it does help. Over xmas I was completely frazzled, screaming at everyone about everything, trying to get the house ready for xmas day guests... so I finally put a couple drops in, and suddenly I was on top of everything. :)

Cloudy, foggy and humid here this morning and it's making me sleepy. Here's the view I have while trying to take a nap.

The gray is my leg. Black and white is the kitten. The brown is the diva Siamese kitty. :giggle:

Kidly discovered last night that Annabel is fascinated with television. He was watching in his room, to get her accustomed to the "talking box," and she was completely absorbed with it. :giggle: Tuxie's never paid it much attention, her thing is if we put our phones on speaker, she goes NUTS meowing LOUDLY. :giggle:

You need to inform her that anything she throws out which doesn't belong to her, she will pay for. Or just don't let her in the door.

I hate to say it, but it seems like your sister has raised disrespect to an art form.

Andria
She only disrespects ME. Even though I have accomplished more, done pretty well for myself, my "mental" issues, ie ADHD, acting silly all the time, and being too nice, make me a target......for narcissists. She and my dil are the same way.

Some people will not respect you until you punch them in the nose.
figuratively speaking...
maybe ;)

Well, my son has been nothing but NICE after I let him have it. lol.
Ok, so, if I can't get off the vaping, what's best for damaged lungs? VG or PG?

Well neither would be best but either should be better than smoking.
with me I do 50/50 as if I go above 60% VG I start hacking up VG.
some flavorings can probably be rougher on the lungs than others as well.

Errrm, excuse me for a second Atchaffy, but can you explain to me who in the hell gave her the right to inspect anything you have or why anything she has to say holds any importance?

NO shit, any guest that "inspects" my house under any circumstances does so at their own peril - no matter what their relation to me

Well, I've had a lervely birthday. My aunt and i went up to Arbys and had some jamocha shakes and curly fries and just talked for a couple hours. Then she brought me home and gave me a card containing $60. So now the mate is heading for chickFilet to get me a 4-pc chicken strips and a tossed salad, and maybe the kidly will rent a movie from redbox for us to watch. The little kitty finally is eating well, so she can gain some weight and not be so skinny; we let her out to roam around for a few hours earlier, to get used to the house. Tuxie looks sad, because she didn't get to go outside today, the weather is goddamn psycho -- it alternated between sunny and flash boom bang downpours all day. Got my brand new white tennies soaked, just getting out of the car to come inside, despite the umbrella the mate held for me -- the damn driveway was like a freaking river!

Got a new pic of Annabel, since she's getting a bit more active and sociable. You can see how skinny she is, her hip bones are very visible. But kidly got her some new food today, which she seems to really like. Gave her some minced up cheese today, and she loved that too! We'll fatten her up. :)

Nice? Him and his wife SHOULD be paying you back the money they owe you. My daughter owed me over $1000 a few years ago because I made her car payments, paid for daycare etc while she was in between jobs. Months went by with no indication of her paying me back. So I asked her about it. I got excuses, promises etc so I finally told her that she could either pay me $50 a week or I'd take her to small claims court and get it all back in one lump sum. Choice was hers. She chose the $50 a week. I hated to be so hard on her but that money came out of my savings account plus she was living here and not paying a dime. She was always going on vacations, out to eat with her friends, going here and there. So I figured if she had money for all of that then she could give me back my money.

yeah messed up priorities and little sense of personal responsibility seems to be more and more common...

Can't afford to feed my kids but have to have a new iPhone and a $100/mo plan....
One Granddaughter was asking for money to fix their truck... Nope...
next time I saw her she was showing off new iPhone....

Cromwell just shakes his head slowly....

Exactly!
I knew she was the sole support of her child but all the food that they ate I bought so basically she was paying for nothing but clothes and diapers.

I just can't believe I survived my own stupidity to reach the age of 57. :D If I'd known I'd live this long... you all know the rest of that sentence (I"d have treated this stupid body better!).

My son got me an awesome book I've been wanting to read for a long time, called Guns, Germs, and Steel. Also got another that showed up in my Bookbub email, called Unbound, about technologies that made humans human. :D And with a name like that, yes, one of those technologies is the ability to make fire at will. :D

Naturally the phone is the biggest present, though I'll be 2 yrs paying for that, on my monthly bills. That's ok though, it's about the only way I could afford this nice a phone. I did get those white tennies, but I'm having a hard time finding some red ones, in size 9. They've got plenty of 8's and 10's though.

Good morning fugees. Happy Thursday. Boy you guys have been a quiet bunch! When I checked last night after getting home from work the last post was Atcha's yesterday at 8:22 am. Did everyone go and get a life except me?
I'm fighting major allergies here. I've been using Flonase with limited success so I decided yesterday to step it up a notch and get Claritin-D to add to the mix. I'm hoping that will finally kick them out. Well...I'm off to get my day started. I hope you all have a great day! :)

I've been busy messing around getting training on a 50W co2 laser engraver. It's a ton of fun to mess with, and it makes me want to engrave everything I can find. So that's my excuse for being so quiet. What's everyone elses!?

I've just been working my butt off trying to make up time. And, my house is a mess from being sick 2 weeks. Last night I cut and little grass. Woke up coughing and choking at 2 am. Oh well, one part at a time Cromwell. Just like me.
You may have to hire someone to mow for you. That's what I had to do. Mowing and weed eating drove my allergies nuts.

Ahh yes isn't a realtive coming over to throw out your vape stuff?
Perhaps they could mow for you?
Or would they not regard that as helping you as they apparently do interfering with your life?

sorry could not resist the dig at someone who hurts you.
