Well, I got the Zeus myself and I am about to preorder the Themis,
My experience with the Zeus is Great, Awesome flavour, real smooth airflow.
and imo easy to build on.

And all different youtubers say about that tank is treu

Love my engine RTA. Engine nano and Zeus both give me fits with the wicking (Zeus more so). Gonna eventually try the Themis. At some point GB will have it for under $20.

Love my Engine Nano's. Took time to figure out the wicking but once I did they have provided me with some very tasty vapor.

Haven't tried the Engine since I'm happy with my little single coil Nano's but I just might have to for sheer shits and giggles. If I go to a dual coil rta, the Engine sits atop that list.

I did have the Wotofo Sapor for a short spell but had some issues. 1) that fucker got too hot too quick. 2) the threading on the base for the collar that holds the cotton in place was for absolute shit. 3) the collar itself was too thin and brittle. With the excessive heat eventually I couldn't get the collar off by hand and needed pliers to free it up which tore the collar to hell and rendered the entire tank useless. It's now buried, somewhere , in a landfill as its final resting place. Rust in piece.

The only other tank that interests me is the Zeus. But to be honest, there's probably not much point in me getting one since I've got four Nano's already. Maybe I'll grab the Zeus when Element puts them on clearance.

Good job putting together this list Wu-Tangcl !

those engine's are also on my wishlist, but the Themis even higher,
simply because I like the zeus so much, and the Themis is a dual coil version of it...

ATM the Zeus is allready resonably cheap at gearbest $ 23,99

Holy Ships, that thing looks awesome, 30mm!!! I'll add it Roostifier, THANKS!!!
You're quite welcome Wu!

I watched a review on YouTube last week about that rta and remembered it today so I thought I would mention it. I'm a big fan of top airflow, just like you. I got tired of tanks pissing all over mods and my hands. Last summer I had a tank piss juice over a mod so badly it ruined the mod. That was it for me, I immediately googled top airflow tanks. :giggle:

I had a similar experience, My Reload RTA Filled with Red Astaire, so quite the color red intensely present...
Layed down on my passenger car seat while I went into the supermarket for a couple minutes.
Needless to say there is a big red dot on my grey carseat now. :slowclap:

Wu, I guess you could say that, yeah, but it is topflow and flavor is pretty darned good. I use #400 mesh rolled tubes for the wicks and then place the coil cotton bed on top of those tubes, which are cut slightly above the deck surface. The mesh wicks the juice by capillary, and IMO wicks much better than cotton. Think I found mine on 2F or Fasttech.

We can add Vapefly's Horus rta to the list. Interesting airflow to say the least. Looking forward to watching reviews when they come out.

http://www.vapefly.net/vapefly-horus-rta/

Here's the problem I see with the airflow. Airflow takes the path of least resistance. I see the airflow coming down the sides and right back up the middle and not how it shows in the graphics. I'll be curious to see some real life reviews.

Agreed. The airflow on the right of the diagram doesn't appear to be channelled separately from the chimney so I don't see how the air doesn't come in and immediately get sucked up the chimney. The airflow on the left looks rather useless unless the point is to mute the flavor.

Yeah I guess we'll have to see some reviews.

It's sort of amusing to watch/listen to folks speak of "airflow".. No experience/clues in model aircraft; nor in marine modeling.. Magic assumptions.

I recently saw a review where the ME was telling folks that airflow was like drawing a tight string from IN to OUT - and coils may or may not be involved. That's not ALL of "it", but it's close.

I suspect there is no real data/info on "flavor" and airflow. "tight/restricted" draw is no answer' "tiny chamber" is the same.

Do you realize? (I've mentioned this to a friend in the industry): There is no <ffing> STATISTICS? We know the "draw" matters, and low-pressure/vaccum is not BLOWING (idjit reviewers). No air-pressure readings, just... "trust me"..

WHAT?

Had the Engine, just got the Themis. I'm amazed how much they copied OBS's original design. I don't have a Zeus but I've heard its very similar to the Themis, so I guess that criticism applies to Zeus as well.

But the Themis is the tank I'm using right now, I guess the fins on the build deck are a slight design improvement, although I like the Engine juice fill method better. I also like the Themis doesn't have any big annoying logos painted on it.

I'm not going back to bottom airflow, those tanks have embarrassed me one too many times.

Glad you chimed in! I've been watching reviews on both the Zeus and Themis and if I had to pick one I'm not sure witch I would pick. Will probably pick up both at some point but the reviews I've watched have said they are both very good on the flavor.

So in your opinion how does the Themis compare to the Nano in flavor? Also, with the increased airflow does it vape at higher wattages than the Nano? I'm guessing it would.

I wish I had a Nano! They're tough to find nowdays, I bought one on Ebay and USPS lost it. I am pissed.

Flavor on the Themis is a step up from from the original Engine (judging the tartness of my raspberry). It is definitely a higher power tank- at 60W my Engine gets so hot it makes a burning smell and discolored the finish. The Themis seems to manage fine at that wattage, but its very hot vapor because the deck sits high.

Damn, I would be pissed too! Didn't realise they were hard to find now. The only places I see stocking them are in China and we all know that boat takes forever!

For some reason I thought you had the nano, oops. I haven't tried the engine thanks to the Wotofo Sapor rta. I had the same problem with the Sapor, it would get hot very quick! Not sure if I mentioned it in this thread or the nano thread but the Sapor got so damn hot that I couldn't get the ring off that secures the cotton in the wicking channels. Like an idiot, I used pliers to get it off and in the process fucked it up. By then I was so pissed I just tossed it into the trash. That's when I ditched the idea of dual coils and went with the Nano instead.

The nanos are pretty nice and can handle a decent size coil. Lol, I've run up to a 5mm ID coil in mine. Was a bit too big and warmed up rather quick and now stick to 3.5-4mm ID coil sizes.

I pike the Themis but might grab the Zeus since it's a single coil rta.

My favorite topair tank (but also takes factory coils) is the UD Athlon 25....I prefer it over zeus and engines...should be in the list

I've been using a Themis (dual coil) for a while now. I think its just awesome. It's built solid and gives a great vape. I like to used spaced stainless coils in it mostly. The flavor it puts out is really good. I tried it using a single coil for a while (fused clapton). That was nice too but I prefer dual spaced ss316l.

I want to order the mesh version soon to try it out as well.

My vapor store has the engine for $22.99 and the nano for $26.99 in stock. I like the nano so much I bought two of each, black and stainless.

We can add the Vapefly Horus to the list as well as the Zeus dual coil.

OBS Engine II is soon to come. I would imagine we'll see an Engine Nano II in the near future as well.

Recently said what the heck and picked up the Zeus after being skeptical about the rta for a while. Glad I did, it's a nice flavorful rta and solid. Airflow is super smooth too. Quite happy with it. :)

The little buggers are nice aren't they?

Wifey recently quit smoking so I gave her a mod, two SS Engine Nanos and about 8' of AVS spooled SS fused Clapton's.

Now I'm only down to 3 Engine Nanos... all black. :p

@KingPin! Has an all in one review on the Horus, Themis and Zeus. It's a great read.

Thanks Roo :oops::D

Finished up on the Solomon 2 the other day as well mate  ....I still reckon the uwell D2 is right up there for flavour out of the top airflow atties I’ve tried and I imagine it can be found in the bargain bucket now (reviewed that somewhere as well I think)...airflow is more restricted than some of these newer tanks but it’s spot on fully open where I like it.

I personally like the Horus out the bunch I’ve tried lately (certainly single coil anyway)

I'll have to look into the D2. Especially if it can be had on the cheap. :D

I really like the design of the Horus. It places the coil directly between where the air comes in and the drip tip. Looks pretty simple to set up.

Have you posted your review on the Solomon 2 yet?

Edit: just found your review of the Solomon 2. ;)

@St.Roostifer Do you know if you can buy a dual coil deck for the single coil tank? I currently own the single coil and am curious to see how the dual coil does.

I don't believe the decks are interchangeable. The designs are different.

I'm really not impressed with the Zeus dual coil and will skip buying it. Would much prefer the Themis.

I've been using the Themis with SS mesh in TC and it's superb flavor and super easy to wick. Bonus too is the single/mesh and dual coil decks are interchangeable, They should sell them as accessories. I bought 2 tanks to get the second deck and to put SS interior parts with black body. Looks a bit like a big Engine. It's been my go-to RTA since.
