Yeah I'm going to use swivels still, but this thing spins! Want one? I might put some together and sell them cheap but I'll throw you one for free for helping me with the thousand coil questions! Lol
As far as the eye bolts, nope I don't have any on hand and I just whipped this up quickly with things I had.
It's supposed to screw right into your board so you'd need pretty long bolts and it would still need an adhesive because the hook needs to be attached to the center ring. Well it doesn't NEED to be but I'd rather have the spinning going through the bearings.

See the screw holes?

First impressions about the Luna. Feels solid, has a bit of heft but it is very nice and comfortable to hold and use. After ordering it I was unsure if I would like the fire button placement, it turns out I actually like it, very easy right thumb fire. Not a big mod, not overly shiny, a rather dull finish.
The fire button placement is like the Clicker? mod by Chris Scott.

They seem over priced for what they are.

I've spent more on mechs and true mosfet mods, but they lack finish or something, if that makes sense. And not just in a matt way, I've also spent double that on wax finish.

Maybe better in the flesh?

Mine is prettier in person - and is by far the least expensive stab wood I have in my very modest collection

Worth it to some, not others

They are nicer "in the flesh" than in pictures but you make a valid point. The finish is good but not as good as SV mods, that's for sure. The fit is good but could be better, kinda expected for a production mod. All in all, not a bad purchase and I am sure if they were paying more attention to the fitting/finish details the way Bernie does, it would be reflected in the price. Let's just say that if I had the nerve, I would refine the finish some more....

There will be replaceable panels coming out.

"Oh look, panel art!"

I might like that if they can get the Hilderbrandt brothers to do up some keen Wolverine scenes, or maybe some sexy Gambit scenes, Psylocke or Rouge. Maybe have the Kuberts do some Silver Surfer panels, Wolverine, Beast, Phoenix, Capt. Marvel. Yes, I know these are all comic book inspired art scenes.

Reckon I could handle a velvet Elvis or Dog's Playing Poker, maybe some Picaso art as panels. What I think would be neat might be an Ohm's Law circle image on a panel, might be nice too to do a panel as a magnifying lens. Might slip one of those ten in one survivalist credit cards on as a panel. Heck, while I'm off in my favorite nation, might include the kitchen sink and a six pack of PBR or Old Mill.

I say fuck it, let us do in fact have mod holy wars. May as well. Can't fix the problem, no duct tape to hold it. So I say fuck it and move on.

Sorry, in case anyone lacks capacity, a lot of the above was intended as sarcasm to add levity.

So Wismec sent men a squonk! A luxotic. It is like the Pico Squeeze. Same kind of hard bottle. It's five clicks on and off. Comes with a MTL style RDA (which I took off for a Odis V1). Vapes nicely. The mod is Ultem and SS - well a gunmetal colour. The panel comes off to insert the battery like a mech squonk but the insides are very clean with a battery ribbon. Only been using it a half hour. I will talk more about and have some pics when time allows.

I'm pretty happy with this little bugger so far though. It's called the Luxotic and looks quite high end. The Ultem panel is nice. if you can around the hard proprietary bottle it is golden. For a daily beater it's a keeper for sure I'm thinking. Jaybo had a hand in the design. I don't want to say too much. I'm guessing around 50 watts is max. Like the Pico. Comparing the two (if it holds up) I would probably take this first as I like the looks. It's a bit taller than a Pico but it is still pretty small.

Aren't i a lucky bugger. First squonk Ie got to review and I'm stoked!

Congrats. I look forward to seeing more about it.
Since I became a Luna-tic and got two of them, I'll be on a Vape gear diet for a while.

That looks pretty sweet.Looking forward to your review.I just hope Wismec didn't use the same crap 510 that they put in all their mods.
Just watched a Jaybo vid talking about the concept of that mod and he actually bragged on his Turbine RTA....
Remember that thing?

Maybe I will be more impressed with the mod than I am with Jaybo...

That was my first thought when I heard Wismec was going to roll out a squonker
They will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to get me to buy anymore of their products. Every Wismec I have bought has stopped working.

It was free. It is not bad but it has a few flaws. Bottle is number one. Same as Pico bottle. Hard. And it is niot see through - shiit. Is it full or empty?
It does squonk well though and no leaks so far.

I bought a new mod today. Not a squonker, but one I've been eyeballing. Eleaf Invoke. Tiny dual battery regulated mod. Local shop picked one up for me since the local distributors got them in. Here it is next to my pico squeeze for size comparison.

Armageddon?
That's one of the hardest hitting little plastic boxes I've got, and I have a bunch.
It's a good deal...
The only issues I've had MIGHT be worth checking:
1 - it has a slow seep at the 510...a little liquid that gets under, and can wet the actual fire point. dab paper in there and see if the contact point is wet. Just careful not to mangle the 510 - those bits are silver PLATED...
2 - Battery connection. Some batteries fit a bit loose, and may not be making a solid connect.
But both those have made firing spotty - then I fix, and it's back to a solid hitting mod - I haven't had anything get hot...

I've already tried undoing the 510 and it looks fine. The contacts getting hot down to that magnet and it's also getting the magnet warm but not below it. Just quickly firing it is making the top of the contact (where it makes connection) to hot to touch in just a couple small fires.
