Taking the percentages of strawberry and blueberry from my red, white, and blueberry recipe because its perfectly balanced. I'd try something like,

TFA blueberry candy 1%
TFA blueberry extra 5%
INW shisha strawberry 1.5%
FA wine champagne 2%
INW cactus .25%

or

http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1096577/Howard Hughes' Strawberry Crush

Looks tasty, and I got everything for it. I'm missing citrus punch for the strawberry crush, so I'll leave that bookmarked for now. Thanks man.

Let me know how it is and maybe i'll try it myself. I couldn't think of anything to make it more of a "soda" that wouldn't ruin the strawberry and blueberry. So hopefully the wine champagne is enough.

Currently trying it in the apocalypse with fresh cotton. It's gonna need some steep time, the blueberry is a little perfumery, but to be expected. The champagne adds the fizzy feel that a soda should have, I don't get a boozy taste, which I'm glad cause that wouldn't work here. The strawberry so far seems to be the star player, but will probably change with time. And cactus is gonna pull it all together. All in all, a decent flavor that is gonna need more time in the shoebox, will let you know next time I try it.

I also thought about other flavors besides the champagne, since it has cactus, maybe a low dose of FA mad fruit might work better here, but then I figured that flavor wouldn't really work too good with the fruits used, so I scrapped that idea before mixing it.

TFA Raspberry Sweet seems like a good choice for something like that.

Yeah, I'm currently in the planning phase with that one. Currently thinking 1% FA raspberry and 5% TFA raspberry sweet, I'm tore between FA mad fruit or FA citrus mix, but will probably go mad. Though with how nice the champagne @Mykreign used works, I might go that route instead.

So...holy vanilla. I've been vaping it since yesterday afternoon and i'm a little disappointed.

First off, I retrieve the package from the mailbox. As soon as I open the mailbox, I can smell juice. That's not good.
Open the package to find 3 flavors just floating around. No bubble wrap or peanuts of any kind and everything covered in juice.
This was my first order from DIYFS. What do they say about first impressions?

Now the flavor. I had hopes for a true, in your face, vanilla. Something that tastes like vanilla extract or vanilla ice cream because i have yet to find one. Yes, my hopes were probably unrealistic. To me, holy vanilla just tastes like another version of all the vanilla custard recipes out there. I'll probably mix it with other flavors, but for custard, I'll stick to GOC.

Edit: I'm not saying it's bad, just not what i was hoping for. I'm picky and i've still been vaping it for a bit. I should note that I just threw it in my tank, so maybe it should be tested on fresh cotton.

Mine were in bags (diy flavorshack) but no seal or tape on bottles, so lucky they all stayed closed

Today I made 120mL of caramel strawberry n cream custard with AP, just...a mishmash

120ml mishmash? You're brave lol

My mixes that taste the best were made with no planning and I never wrote down the recipe :D I'm lucky I didn't ruin it with too much AP, I sure got close though

Best mix I ever had was when I dumped a strawberry cream mix in with a good steeped butterscotch, man I wish I could recreate that

Ugh! Juicy strawberry smells so good and I still can't taste it.

I can't really taste it either and oddly enough when I use it I can't really taste Tfa ripe strawberry as good as I could before. Almost like it hides it somehow,(odd I know) I've only used it as high as 1% so I'm not over during the flavor. I haven't had juicy strawberry long but just thought I'd let you know your now alone

Oof, sorry to hear all that. My packaging was bubble-wrapped and secure, the HV in a separate baggie sealed and shut, also in bubble wrap. That's... hmmph, that's how I know I need to curb my recommendation sprees. Sorry to hear!

I'll say that vaping it straight, about half way through the second day I was vaping paper flavored air. Had to switch it up a bit, I must have grown accustomed to it. I've added it into a couple recipe bottles now with other Vanillas, bakery flavors and creams and I'm still on the 'It's SO good' boat - I may not be doing much in the way of single-flavor vaping of it, though.

On the other hand, I very recently got the flavors I missed to whip up GOC proper, and yeah, that's a good tasting vape no matter how you look at it. Introduced me to Graham Cracker as well, that'll be finding its way into a bunch of stuff in the future I'm sure.

Again, I feel bad recommending it like I did. I'll be sure to tone down my spastic recommendations in the future, haha!

edit: Right now I'm vaping a new mix I did with it, 3% CAP French Vanilla, 2% Holy Vanilla, 2% CAP Yellow Cake, 0.5% of FW Graham Cracker and CAP Butter Cream each. It's fantastic, but... erm... don't take my word for it! ;)

In other news, if anyone out there plans on using Flavorah's Wood Spice in a mix, I'd very heavily suggest not going over 1%. I did 2, and I've cycled 2 different flavors through the tank now and I can still taste that sandalwood note. Not terribly offensive, but I'm so done with tasting that now that I've set my MTL rig off to the side for the day until I can get it cleaned and cotton swapped out.

I have a bunch of vanillas but not CAPs french vanilla. It seems really popular. I was gunna just get it so it wouldn't be my missing flavor for some recipes. The word trending comes to mind.

I have it.....I like it. Not as much as HS FVIC, but it works when you need a flavorful vanilla without the creamy note. It may be trending now, but it was one of the first flavors I picked up. I love me some vanilla. I pretty much buy anything with vanilla in the name. :)

Hmm how many strawberry testers do I wanna make today?

Because I don’t know and I do taste strawberry, what do you actually taste when you taste strawberry? I know you say you don’t, so is it just sweet or something else? I’m just curious......I don’t seem to have the taste bud issues that others do i.e. cap glazed donut, joy, etc.....

Depends on the flavor. For example, JF sweet strawberry I taste a tart, sour sweetness but no strawberry. Then FA juicy strawberry I get nothing. Tastes like air.
