Okay so like filling, you take the fill cap off and close the juice flow ring all the way, fill, start putting the fill cap on but then open juice flow slightly and turn it upside down before tightening the fill cap, then turn right side up again

OR

If you didnt fill that way, then turn it upside down with the juice flow open for a couple seconds, close the juice flow all the way, turn it right side up again, then open juice flow again. Baby is burped.
Air bubbles can get trapped in the wick holes and block juice from getting to the cotton if you dont fill this way or at least burp after filling

Thank you, I will try that right after work. I need a satisfying hit!

Started sorting out measurements for what I want in an 810 drip tip. Most are widebore and I wanted something in the neighborhood of 8-9mm inner bore, something between a full open 810 and 510. Found several on FT that 'may' work but not entirely sure. If I try a few I'm out $8-10+ plus the long ship time. Figured I'd take the plunge and got in touch with lawless. Said they could do custom bore no problem, they're currently sorting out some things in their personal life and may be a bit backed up due to the holidays. Will be putting an order in when they get back to me on a few details whenever time permits. Not in a big rush especially under the circumstances, I'm sure it'll turn out nice though.

Got a laser engraver to (hopefully) customize a few mods.

Whoa coooool...gonna add that service to your site if it works out well? :D
It's in the back of my mind. I need to see how well it works first. It can only engrave items that are not considered inflammable. It should work okay on wood, plastic, painted surfaces, etc. But I don't think it'll work on straight metal, although of course I'm gonna try it... :D

Use full eye safety precautions. Reflected laser light can damage your eyes.

More practice building fused claptons. Still only successful with 2 cores. Can't quite figure out how to keep the cores from collapsing with more than 2. There is something very satisfying about vaping a coil that you've built yourself.

You could take off your wrap wire from the spool (10 ft or whatever) and straighten it first, then use No tension while wrapping, or
You could use some very strong ball-bearing swivels and pull the cores pretty tight end to end, and loop two paperclips over/under each other over the wire, maybe tape them together, and keep them less than an inch in front of where you're wrapping, and go slow and scoot the paperclip bundles forward,
Or what the guys tell me who are really good at this is bind the cores with some ribbon wire or thin wire, and use pliers to squish the binding wire flat

Thanks. I'll try the paperclip or taping trick next time I sit down to build.

Not on the Hexangels - it had the Hexohm logo on the other side. I have a regular v2.1 purple that I can try it on.

Rewick my Griffin 22. Was going to make some wire but the kids went to bed. And one thing I learned after 18 years of Parenthood. Don't wake the sleeping giant. Ha ha

Brought the Griffin 25 out of storage and made a couple of coils for it. Had a family emergency so I didn’t get to wick up tonight. I’ll finish it up tomorrow put it on my Therion so I can start experimenting with the settings for it.

I vape, therefore I am.

Okay, so I gave it a shot. The 1,000 mW laser ain't powerful enough. Although I did order a 1,500 mW replacement.

Here's the software. The red is what already printed. This thing is SLOW! 25 minutes for a tiny print.

Printing a test sample on cardboard:

For some reason, the bottom didn't print all the way. Good thing this is only a test print.

Extremely weak print from the 1,000 mW head. I can barely even see it in the right light:

I just get another Christmas, so that's cool.
VV Pyro RDTA, Eleaf Invoke, tons of grub screws, 39 piece multibit driver set, some premade coils (which I could make on my own now lol), atomizer gaskets, empty bottles!!!

Threw a little Pay It Forward bag together for a friend of a friend that started vaping. Just some basic coils, spare wire and spare cotton and a few juices that I wasn’t going to use along with an invite to join us here on VU and some sites to visit for beginners (safety sites, basic tutorials, etc).

You're not drinking water are you?! You realize that stuff is found in antifreeze!?!

Had some time to kill so I went and browsed the local vape shop. Found this juice a vanilla ice cream flavor. Very good. I’m going to have to try and clone this one.

Can you share the recipe?
Boringly simple.
for 120 ml batch, do the math for smaller batches.

4 ml CAP Vanilla Custard V1
1.6 ml CAP Vanilla Whipped cream
6 drops Liquid NuStevia.
Nic to desired and PG/VG.

yeah boringly simple.

Makes a great custard base too for adding fruits, tobaccos, etc.

Edit with 50/50 PG/VG it is pretty much shake and vape.
The more VG the more steep time required.

Ordered 2 Wasp nano frosted caps and a few drip tips.
Got 4 30Q batteries in vape mail. Let them warm up a while and are now charging.
