I just ordered Ammit 25 RTA, SIREN 2 RTA and iJoy Captain PD270

I'm not a super vape guy, infact I'm really new at this and this is a first RTA build based on youtube research. And I just wanted to hear some thoughts from the pro's.
Like, are the parts even compatible?
Am I missing something?
What should I do when I get these?
Any information you can throw at me.

I decided to go with RTA so that I don't have to buy overpriced coils basically, in case someone's wondering.

This is exactly why I went to RTA. I started out rebuilding Protank coils. Did that for over a year, before I moved onto RTAs.

I don't have experience with those particular tanks, though I've heard great things about the Ammit and the Siren, you seem to be off to a good start by asking here, and you're already researching the vids at YT.

I started out with, and still use, just simple coils. You can get some great tips from builders here, or even suggestions on where to buy pre-made coils, then wick those with your wicking material of choice.

Good luck to you and welcome to VU :)

Just remember to dismantle tanks and washed them properly before any build. This will eliminate machine oil which may be exists during production. Then enjoy in max :)

I always wash stuff out of the box (tanks, not the mod). A little warm/hot water and dish soap works well. Just be sure to rinse well to avoid any soapy after taste. Rebuilding yourself is a lot cheaper than factory coils or being stuck tossing a whole coil just because the cotton is burnt or saturated with too many different flavors. Simple coils wrapped from a single wire are easy enough and will work to start.

A coil jig can make things easier like a coilmaster v3 or v4 kit with multiple rods of common size for coil inner diameters ranging from 1.5mm to 4mm. Not absolutely necessary though, for months I used a couple different sized nails. A 16d (16 penny) common nail is around 4.2mm. For easier spaced coils, try using a machine screw (finer threads than a wood screw). Find one around the diameter you want the coil to be and wrap the wire in the grooves then unscrew the screw from the coil.

If you have thinner gauge wire like 26 or 28ga it's easy enough to take two pieces and twist them together first, then wrap your coils out of that. Either by hand or with a drill if you have one. Even if you don't have a drill, take a piece of wire more than twice the length you plan to use, fold it in half and make a loop at the folded end. Use a pen or pencil to place through the loop and hold the other ends of the wire with pliers and keep winding. Just be aware as it twists the overall length of the twisted wire will get shorter by around 1/4 to 1/3. Plenty of easy things to try with wire to improve performance or flavor without going crazy on complex builds.

The ammit would be more suited for direct lung, the siren for mouth to lung (like smoking a cig) or possibly restricted lung hits. Both should work fine on that mod. If you're new to making coils, don't get discouraged if they don't come out right. Either bend back into shape if possible or toss and start over. Wire is pretty cheap.

Ok.
One other thing. Since I don't live in USA, I ordered this stuff from ebay where, next to the things name, it says authentic or original.

Can I trust ebay on this?

I just built my first RTA which is the Siren 2 (1.2 ohm). On top of saving money for coils, the taste is way better than regular tanks.

You’ll want wire SS316 or N80 or Kanthal 26g / 28g to get you started on simple coils

You’ll want a build kit I bought the geekvape kit which I use to this day (includes mini tab resistance reader takes a 18650 Battery, scissors, wire cutter, screwdrivers, flat pliers ) there are other kits out there UD, Coilmaster etc have the simular gear in them

The coil master Jig V4 tool is really excellent again use is all the time ...coil master build kit contains a jig already
